I have always wondered why some peopIe write here " I'd give zero stars if I could". Now I know I have a senior shorkie. No mats just wanted her hair cut about 2 inches, a bath and the rest of the grooming services as advertised on this locations web page. I took her to the same location about 7 weeks ago. She had mats and really needed the works! At that time the groomers did an amazing job, in an hour for 52.00 . Yesterday I was told when i took her in the cost had gone up to 62. ok, not a huge difference. Then she said it would take 4 and a half hours, and the other groomer was finishing up another pup.! She is a short hair 10 lb. senior dog, loves everyone. Seriously, the groomers 7 weeks ago said she was such a good girl. So, imagine my surprise that the cost was over 93.00! Why? Because, the groomer Katie said my dog was a "challenge" who wouldnt let her trim around her..anus. So she didn't. But she charged 10.00..for NOT doing it! There was another 10. charge for trimming her nails..not included now? Then, 10.00 tax. you know, because it was almost 100. this time UP-SELL the entire exoerience. I will never take Luna there again. P. S. I had to trim long furs that were sticking out around her face. Ugh read more

Took my dog into the 350 Eubank location for a bath and haircut today (first time at Petsmart) after a bad experience with my last (three times as expensive) groomer. Savannah did his intake and I was very impressed by how personable, professional and knowledgeable she is. She answered all of my questions, reassured me about the grooming process at Petsmart (after I told her my dog is very anxious), and she was really good with him directly, including picking him up to carry him back when he balked at walking with her on leash. They called me within two hours I am really happy with the groom done by Cypress. The cut is exactly what I asked for when talking to Savannah, and it's clear that the communication between Savannah and Cypress was right on. The icing on the cake is that my dog wasn't overly stressed as he has been with a couple of other groomers when I picked him up. It's clear they took really good care of him. (Just a note that they currently only take cash tips, and they certainly earned their tip!) Thanks, Savannah and Cypress! read more

I found the staff at the Academy branch Petsmart not only unhelpful but unfriendly as well. After an argument with the Manager over two returns, he as much as called me a liar for trying to get reimbursed for the two returns, saying I had already been reimbursed because of something printed on the receipt. I would recommend Petco, Vet Med, or Long Leash on Life as alternatives. read more

The employees working at this location closed the store while we were in it and then told us they had over looked us in the store and that they couldn't checkout our items. (Rudely) The one young man said he looked up every aisle and didn't see us. Which was a lie! We were on the second aisle near the cashier in the middle of the aisle and no one came by or down that aisle. These employees were in a hurry to close and didn't bother to let shoppers know that they were closing soon. I will NEVER shop at a PetSmart again. Amazon has my business from now on. I have gone many times and not satisfied with the snooty staff and charging me extra for matting (when I dematted my dogs before taking them in. The last straw was the ridiculous haircut given to my schnauzer poodle mix. The only thing I like is the convenience of making my appointment online but other than that, I prefer not to patronize this store. This was a really nice experience and store. The sections were clearly labeled and I was able to find what I was looking for immediately. The lady at the front register was really nice too. Angie is the newest groomer at this location. She might be moving locations. She is amazing with my dog. She made up for a HUGE abuse and blunder that occurred at the Renaissance location. Please see my review of that location. They literally made my dog bleed in front of my eyes. I did not have the same experience here. Also, I recommend if you have issues making sure to take it up the chain-of-command. The DM is willing and ready to listen to consumer issues, and make things as right as they can be. read more

PetSmart is not bad and I've been a regular customer for years. I do prefer the specialty pet stores most because I don't have a normal pack I have a rare parrot. Stafford friendly and prices are so so convenient being right there on Eubanks. I'm at Clark's fan myself read more

PetSmart is fine A-OK in my book. This location is squeezed between a Walmart and a Sam's Club so there is plenty of traffic. They offer the regular assortment of treats, foods, and pet supplies. I feel like it is a typical product offering as any other PetSmart. The employees are always friendly and treat my dog well so I give them a double thumbs up. I have used the grooming service, but won't return. The employee who took care of my dog was enthusiastic, upbeat, and clearly loved dogs. However, I could see the razor streaks on my dogs hair, the tail wasn't cut, and his Mohawk ($6 up-charge) was crooked. Wonderful people, but not as much skill as I would like to see for the amount charged. Additionally they don't take the dogs out to relieve themselves, but say the cages they are kept in have wire bottoms so the dogs can urinate and not lay in it. Truthfully, this doesn't make me feel any better about the situation. My dog is house trained as well as kennel trained, and I never want him to feel bladder stress if avoidable. This is company policy, so I can't blame this location, but it means my boy won't return to PetSmart. read more

I only take my dogs too petco because it's the only place I can get a appointment that is with in a day or two. I hate the 4 hour window but I deal. Well my last visit I was warned it might be a little longer because of a call off. Well I was done with my errands at the 4 hours mark and decided to check in and my dogs were not even started and was told it will be a hour and a half. Well needless too say that would of been 8:30 pm so I just took my dogs home. There was only one groomer and the poor girl had been there 12 hours. I don't blame her I blame management . The Grooming here is pretty decent but everything extra cost a whole lot more. I am gonna see who else does grooming, local businesses that is. As far as the store goes, they have everything you could possibly need for your pet. I feed my Boxer/Cattle Hound mix Blue Buffalo Freedom and they seem to have the best price. Its not even available here on base. If your pet needs something there is a good chance they will carry it here and the price will be pretty good. read more

Wow.....we took our golden retriever here to be groomed. We told them we wanted a "golden retriever" cut. Does anyone know what a golden retriever looks like? Because the groomer didn't...she SHAVED him. A butchered shave job at that. When I complained, they looked at me like I was just being a pain. This review is for the groomer Edgar. My dog who is 4 has been to two other places and never growled at the groomer before. I tried to be nice about it and told him I'd tip him next time, but I'm glad I didn't tip him because when I got home, I realized that my Pomeranian's paws weren't cleaned up and he still had mats in his fur which means he wasn't brushed or he would've known there was mats. I also didn't want a haircut and my dogs hair was cut! I'm never going back there and do NOT recommend this groomer. read more

The do a great job grooming at this location. My pet is large and has long hair and they never have a problem with him. They are kind, thorough and always are excited to see my dog arrive for his appointments. I have used many of the different groomers and never had a bad experience. Done with Pet Smart- especially the Eubank location. The manager is very rude, and "snarky"- not a good fit for public service- which btw- is exactly what retail is about. The last interaction with her, concerning an order was the last time I patron that store. While I was waiting to speak to her, I had the misfortune of watching the groomers in the back handle the animals- I will NEVER take my animal there. They had a cat pinned up to a pole, and were hacking her claws- yes, hacking- blood was everywhere- not a good store, horrible groomers and by her own actions- horrible management. Someone at corporate needs to take a look at this team. Even the staff are rude and indifferent- and if they do speak to you, they are condescending and short- who does business like that? I buy cat food by the case there. A new store policy requires that the cashier scan each of the 24 cans individually. The cans are color coded and its obvious they are the same flavor. Today I had 6 people in line behind me and there was only one register open so this policy is causing a backup. If it is still happening the next time I go it will probably be my last trip to Petsmart. read more

I must just have bad luck with pet stores, I have had problems with this store also I have bought fish from this store around 3 times with time in between visits. Everytime I have lost at least half the fish I purchased each time, and by the time I could get back over there the warranty had ran out. They want you to keep the dead fish and your receipt and like I said I'm disabled and it is not easy for me to just jump up and get to the store within the time of the replacement warranty. I've have called and they make it really hard for you to return anything let alone dead fish. I have read about other people losing fish that they bought there and told in their reviews that sometimes the fish would come up with a few different diseases and they had stopped shopping there because of the bad attitude of the employees. So I have come to the conclusion that I will start shopping at a spender fish establishment and see if I can't have some better luck. read more

This review applies to the grooming salon. This is the 3rd time I've taken my Yorkies there, with the price going up each time. We again asked beforehand what the price would be and they told us. They said, you want the nails dremmeled and teeth brushed, right? And we said yes. We were never told it was an additional cost. When we picked up our puppies, the price we were quoted had doubled. Actually, the first time they rung it up, we were told the cost was $277. My husband told them it couldn't possibly be that high. After arguing with him, the guy that rung it up said, maybe I rung it up twice. Duh! Do not let Brittney cut your dogs hair. My Yorkies are choppy, with different lengths of hair. Worst trim ever. I'm disgusted. Never going there again. Ever. read more
