Yeah! Don't go here. My 11-year-old dog had her first spa appointment of her life. I wanted to treat her. Now she has a cough. Manager says - let me transfer you to Banfield. Oh your dog should be seen right away to rule anything serious out. It's 100. But we can't fit her in. I can make an appointment Friday. six days! Really! When they tell me that it could be serious and not to wait to get her checked/ treated? She says " oh by the way all of the groomers are really good and make sure that all the dogs are up-to-date on their vaccinations." They never once asked me about any vaccinations except for rabies. You get what you pay for. I had no idea that there would be so many dogs and people crammed into such a small area and once I had taken her in there I was kind of committed. never again read more

Usually I like Petsmart. It's a convenient place to buy my pup's food and treats (sometimes I swear, my dog eats better than I do!) They have items that meet the needs of my pup's sensitive tummy. My complaint is the grooming area. I've been to this location twice - and the first time I had an excellent time. My pup needed his nails trimmed - and he hates when I do it. So I took him in, he got it done, I bought some treats on his way out, everything was good. So since this was an easy experience, I decided to schedule a bath for him. Although their prices are extraordinarily high (come on, all you're doing is putting water and shampoo on my dog - rinse and dry - it's not that difficult or time consuming for a lab) - I figured I would do something special since my pup's birthday is coming up. Making the appointment was super easy. I made it to the appointment, on the coldest freakin day of the season. I told the employee that I was worried about giving him a bath, since it was so cold outside. She assured me that he would be completely dry when finished. And then I asked the question - how long would it take? Big, huge mistake for me asking this. She told me that it would take approx. 3 hours. 3 hours!!! For a lab! I could hear my pup whining and crying in the back (I got a brief look at the crates they store the pups in...and he was cramped. It's the same size as the one I purchased when we first got him --- 7 years ago). On that note I told her that all I wanted was his nails trimmed and ears cleaned. She did seem like she had an attitude because I changed my mind. But whatever - my pup was finished in about 10 minutes and I was on my way out. And I waited until it warmed up to give my dog a bath - on my own. Honestly 3 hours is wayyyy to long to give a dog a bath, especially when I know he'll be in a cramped crate for the majority of the time. I've been to Petsmarts all over the east coast and never had an estimated time that is THAT long. read more

So I come here for one thing only which is my beloved baby's food so I never have really purchased anything other than that. But they have a large selection of valued dog and cat food and offer grooming services as well. A lady checking out in front of me picked her dog up from grooming and I overheard her total was $60.. Sounds a bit pricey for a groom but she might have included other special things in her dogs grooming day who knows. They sell all sorts of toys here for your furry baby. Every time I've gone in they're very helpful and have even taken the time - when my dog was not keeping her food down- to show me the ingredients in a few products and showed me which product was good for pets with food sensitivities. read more

To start with the customer service is terrible. PetSmart has always had a bias against bulldogs and pit bulls, we brought our dog to get groomed and they changed his breed from an American Bulldog to a English bulldog and they never did this at Petco when we took him to get groomed there. They then told us that it would be 40 minutes to get him groomed and we thought "well that's pretty fast considering he's pretty big but whatever." The lady called us in not even 15 minutes and said "your dog is ready to get picked up" We have a baby so we said we'd be there in 10 minutes and she said "no no no you can't he's an express so you have to be here now." We were upset with the terrible and rude customer service, how are we going to just DROP everything we're doing to go in not even 10 minutes I thought it was a reasonable amount of time it's not like we were going to be there in an hour. We got there and they immediately start complaining about him saying he doesn't listen he jumps on people and he was hurting them. We never got these complaints at Petco we always got told he was such a good dog, and he is extremely gentle with our daughter and other kids he's just a puppy so obviously he has to learn. How are you going to complain about dogs being dogs ? If you are going to work with animals you should not have such a negative attitude. If I could give them no stars I could, I hope they get fired for the terrible service. read more

This PetSmart's not the worst, but it's not the best either. I've found this location to be particularly lackluster: annoying crowds, long lines, questionable prices, and an unhelpful staff that won't give you a break when you can't remember when phone number you used to sign up for the PetSmart account. I'll admit that they did have some pretty awesome deals for Black Friday, which is the only reason why I dared to venture here on such a crazy day. read more

Last week I walked into your store got my dog food and left them I realized that I had gotten the wrong item so I went back in and got back in line there was 8 people ahead of me and one cashier while 4 other associates including the store manager I asked the manager if someone could jump on and she ignored me I then asked her again and she said fine you fucking bitch. will never go into the store again. This store's best asset is its location. When I was commuting to and from work, I would stop here because it's really easy to access from 225, even during rush hour. What else is there? Pretty much all PetSmarts are the same. This one is no better or worse than the others in terms of product selection or the quality of employees. read more

Visited this location about a week ago. We were looking for a fish for my son. The salesman was very helpful and let us know which types of fish we could safely put into a smaller tank, Also, he informed us of what types of other water creatures we could add in. I would have never thought to add little frogs and shrimp to the aquarium. That was very helpful and we're excited to go back in a week or so to obtain more. The salesman was thoughtful and knowledgeable, great customer service. read more

This location is awesome!!! The associates are welcoming and friendly. There is always plenty if stock of everything. The sale section has great little treats. The rewards program always saves me a few bucks. Banfield Pet Hospital is located inside and they are also wonderful. The vet staff has always taken very good care of my animals. When I come in they remember my name as well as all my animals names. Overall this Petmarts is a well run store and the people are amazing!!!! read more

I took my dog to the grooming center to get him brushed out. He's a pretty big dog with a lot of fur any sheds quite a bit. They really didn't do that good of a job brushing them out because when we came home he was still shedding pretty bad they were really nice and they were able to squeeze me in at the last minute without an appointment. You do have to have proof of the dogs rabies shot which they easily got by calling my veterinarian. I might go there again I haven't decided yet. read more

Pet Training. May I just say Bethany is amazing. She goes through and teaches us how to interact with our puppies. I absolutely loved it. Maddie Grace has gone through the advanced class. Bethany also took the time to help me get Maddie Grace to be a service dog. I think sometimes when trainers go through the class they overlook the bond each parent is trying desperately to obtain with their puppy. I honestly can say she cares about every relationship in the class. Amazing trainer. read more

They have a better selection than the nearest Petco, regarding everything but nametags. I had to go to Petco to find a nametag that I liked and I wish they would expand their collection. Otherwise, the selection of toys, treats and accessories is great. read more

I have a registered Miniature Schnauzer. I started out grooming him myself, and was good at it, but after two hours at the pet table in my basement I was totally exhausted and so was he. PetSmart saved our life: for a reasonable price they wash, trim, and remove his ear hair (more than any dog I've seen). I let him off and they call when he's done and I pick him up. He loves going because he can bark at other dogs. My Schnauzer is not show quality, and they do a fine job as far as I'm concerned. I had tried another person: I was appalled at what a shabby job they did! And for more cost! I've been taking him to a PetSmart for 5 years. The vets are great too: saved my wife's minpin mix who over eats. Now he stays slim (er). read more

This store needs to get a clue. Twice, I have stood in a long line with ONE checker...and waited while a customer changed their mind about items. Other employees watched but never bothered to open another lane, even when the customer being checked out actually went BACK to the aisles to get a different product. Rude management, they follow you around like your stealing something and today I had to return a aquarium item (with a receipt from a different Petsmart store) and they first said I had to take it to the store I bought it at (this is not the chains policy), I was grilled why I needed to return it with lots of questions and then the manager wanted to know the description of the salesperson I bought the item from! Mind you I had a receipt and only bought the item the previous day. After she finally ok'd the return with much hesitation & rudeness and walked away the checker apologized profusely about her conduct and attitude. I've had things like this happen in this store many times and avoid it when possible. read more

This place sucks, is over priced and the vet sucks too. They almost killed my dog!! Had to bring him right back in or he would have died on the way home. Stopped by on my way home from work to get a prescription dog food. Store was filthy, smelled like dirty dogs and WHAT IS UP WITH THE MUSIC???? I could barely talk with the cashier over the loud music. I will go back to stopping at the Parker PetSmart from now one. Took our cats to the groomer because they get their long hair matted and they usually end up needing shaved. We've always taken them to this location to the so called "cat whisperer". Today they requested we come in early or they'd have to reschedule because of some situation with one of the groomers needing to leave early - so we agreed to do that. After a few hours we got a call that one of our cats was finished but the other was biting and could not be done. Now, being a person who works with animals on a daily basis, I can appreciate being safe in animal handling and recognizing signs of stress, however I also know a thing or two about how to work around those difficult situations and find a way to give the customer what they pay for without compromising the sanity of the pet. Also just to note; my cat who is 'biting' has never had problems in the past, is a very sweet girl, and barely has any teeth left anyway. So my theory based on all the evidence is that they just didn't want to take the time to groom my other cat. Definitely WILL NOT be returning!!! read more

Up until yesterday this was always our primary store for pet adoptions and pet needs. We have decided we would like to add a cat to our family and went to look since most shelters are closed Sunday. Well in stead of a cat we fell in love with a sweet kitten named Pumpkin. We filled out the application and specifically asked for the declawing question if there was anyone I could speak with as I needed more information and irigionally were going to get a cat. I was told no. I answered undecided simce I wanted to speak with someone whom could answer my questions and help give me information. The appkication was taken to a "manager" and then the unhelpful sales associate came back and flat out lied "there is no manager here to approve the application". I then asked to speak again with someone to get more information but again was told no one was there that could. I dont know what has gappened with their so called leadership and training but it is evident that it has gone down hill and disappeared. read more
