My dogs back after a grooming and bath session at Petsmart in Bullhead City AZ.

Took my pet there for grooming and a bath for the first time and few days later I found what seemed like a nik on his back, it was probably the size of an 1inch. I took him to the store and the Mgr said oh, no that looks like a spider bite and recommend some wound healing spray. I insisted I really didn't think so because the first picture I took of his wound you could clearly see what looked like a blade nik and some of his hair was cut/missing. She said oh yeah, spider bites will look like that and it will seem as if it his hair was cut....I thought to myself, I aint never seen no spider bite like that, but ok lets see what else she has to say. Couple days later when I was cleaning his original wound, I noticed he had more bleeding on a bigger portion of his back. So I took him to the vet thinking it was a spider bite just like the Petsmart Mgr suggested and the Vet said clearly not a spider bite and there was no venom in his blood work. The vet said something happened there that irritated his skin, but not a spider bite. After they fully shaved his hair you can tell is not a spider bite because that entire general area is severely irritated. In addition, he would have never done that to himself and I never saw him scratching his back so bad to have caused this. So nearly $500 later plus the $80 on his grooming service and this is the result I got, see the picture. A huge irritated area on my dogs back that in my sincere opinion was caused by Petsmart. I have filed formal complaint and waiting on their management teams response. But my advice to you is, unless you wanna spend nearly $600 for a grooming and subject your pet to horrific pain, dont go there.

    Cash and Kidd truckin !!!

I took both my dogs Cash and Kidd here they did an awesome job Sam took real good care of my pups thank you Sam.

We took Barney to get his nails done. Jackie is patient and kind. It looks like she had him in a headlock but she was whispering in his ear.

I was immediately comfortable and confident that I had reached the right person . Step 1: He sent over a very detailed questionnaire, so he would know my dog before he met him. I did the 10 week at my home, which was most convenient for me. I would like to note that I travel and have a crazy schedule so we had to reschedule many times. I thank Roy for accommodating professional life. Step 2: our first in person visit Roy met Finn, my extremely rambunctious Australian shepherd/Shetland sheepdog, who loves to run out the front door and dash out into the desert, or bolt past me going down the stairs inside my house, almost sending me down the stairs . Little did I know training was as much for me, as it was for my dog. I learned so much about my dog and about me. Lots of things I thought were cute I have found are not so endearing I am still amazed. With every visit, I gained more insight and knowledge from Roy. Started out just leaving my house and working up and down my own Street. Step 3: moving from working in our neighborhood down to walking around at the park in the downtown area. Teaching Finn to sit at the corners before crossing, and not to chase after birds or other dogs. He no longer yanks on his leash. I am very grateful for the experience. I want to thank Roy from the bottom of my heart. Our lives have changed and are so much different, having a dog properly trained. Finn still has a long way to go, but I am willing to make the effort with the information Roy has given me to succeed. I plan on stopping in to his drop in classes in Kingman on Saturdays, because Finn's training will never be over, he is sly lol and he likes to get one up on me anytime he thinks I'm not paying attention. After all he is a smart dog! Roy travelled all the way from Kingman to Needles for our training, and I know he goes to Lake Havasu City and Bullhead and God knows where else If you are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced trainer, Roy is your guy . That was my first problem. Second problem is, the word trim could be replaced with HACKING. Indiscriminately using clippers on her black nails, which is already dangerous because it's hard to tell where the quick is, and lo and behold she cut at least one too short. Immediately there was blood, which she tried to say was HERS!! She wouldn't have told me if I hadn't seen it myself! Third and final strike. I said we do them at home, we use grinders, and was being ignored while listening to commentary that they were practically grown into her feet (give me a break). I just wanted to get my dog back so I tried not to throw a fit and that was my subtle way of trying to say "we do them, you dont need to". I am horrified by the fact that if I hadn't seen the blood that she tried to hide, she wouldn't have told me. I am just shocked by the lack of respect, care, and transparency - I know mistakes happen, but this could have been avoided. If she'd had the respect to ask about performing additional services on my dog before just deciding to do them (would have said no), been mindful of taking small snips once she took it upon herself to just do things I hadn't asked for (or switched to a grinder - standard practice for dogs with black nails), and after making this unfortunate mistake she should have told me what she did instead of trying to lie about it!! Even just from a veterinary care standpoint, I NEED TO KNOW! What foot, what nail(s)!? We all should hope that this was just a little knick and my little senior lady doesn't go lame or you will be hearing from me again.

He also didn't seem like himself and was clearly off. It makes me concerned that the animals may be left alone for most of the day on weekends. We chose boarding so our dog wouldn't be alone, but his condition when he returned was upsetting. He even growled at us, which is completely out of character for him. In addition, he had sores that lead us to believe he may have been attacked by other dogs. It's very distressing to think that our well-cared-for, trained, and loved dog may not have been treated with the same level of care. To the owner, If animals are not being cared for properly, this is not the right line of work for you. The environment is also extremely loud, making it difficult to communicate with staff you can barely even say your pet's name and be heard. To other pet owners it would be best you find another place to take your pet.

Raymond's training program was very thorough & we are very grateful for this program. Our dog Koda was 10 months old when he started the training program he had aggressive tendencies & would always require being carried into his kennel at night time for bed. When it came to walking our dog that wasn't even an option he wouldn't let us put a leash on his neck. After the training program with Raymond for five weeks, we saw significant changes. We were actually able to take him on walks & put a leash on him. When given a command he walks into his kennel without any issues. We highly recommend Raymond's training program.

Luna engaged in a lot of leash pulling and some reactivity when she would see other dogs. Luna is now able to walk calmly and does not overreact when another dog is around or near her. Nova is an anxious pup and her board and train helped her be exposed to public areas, while working on her obedience, learning to settle, gained more confidence in herself and does really well with leash walking. Raymond was thorough and explained things with care and patience on how to continue their training at home, answered any question and concerns we had and provided us with feedback when he had us practice the tools he used with our girls. Def would recommend and come back for extra support in the future if needed.
