I came in , a lovely lady named Rachel came to my dog and built rapport. She cut her nails with a drummer, and brushed her teeth my dog never flinched and she didn't cut the nails too short, she did it perfectly. I definitely would recommend this place. Rachel is charismatic and charming especially toward the dogs. And the prices are incredibly fair, the original place I went to actually charges double what they charge.

Well, I couldn't possibly be happier with liza and her Mom. I have two Cocker Spaniels, Barney and Bette, and they are the best groomers I've ever had. They know exactly how to do a professional Cocker cut, a task that is not easy, and they come out absolutely stunning, plus they are as happy as can be to boot. I highly recommend their shop.....it does cost a bit more than most I suppose, but the results are worth every penny. Hands down, the best groomers in the valley.

She doesn't want to go in the facilities and can't wait to leave when we pick them up and our dogs have generally seemed unrested. When we arrived to pick up at Jee Jac our dogs were in great spirits (which is not our norm). They seem energetic and like they generally liked being there. We have happy dogs and as a result are happy people we will use again.

Recently, my littlest cat was acting very weird and stopped eating over a period of a few days. I thought it might be because of the heat wave we were having at the time, but when she got increasingly lethargic and started hiding, I got worried and called Chuckanut Valley. They got us right in! After quite a bit of poking and prodding, not to mention a full panel of tests, it was determined that my cat was likely just hot. It was a pretty expensive diagnosis, but I was relieved it wasn't something worse. The doctors and staff here are always so loving and kind. And while their prices are definitely premium (aren't all vets?) I do appreciate they have prescription meds on hand when I need them for my pets, and offer discounts if you offer full diagnostic panels. I am so happy to have found them!

During our vacation, communication was extremely poor. After seeing a concerning photo of our dog appearing to have an altercation with another dog, we tried repeatedly to get updates. We had to keep reaching out ourselves and ultimately had to ask the owner to send us a photo because we had gone days without seeing or hearing anything about him. At pickup, we were initially charged the wrong amount. We had also paid for an exit bath, but were told it had been removed because they weren't sure whether it had been done. When we got our dog into the car, he smelled strongly like he had not been bathed at all. The most disappointing part was the way our concerns were handled. Rather than acknowledging them or apologizing, the interaction felt defensive and dismissive. We won't be boarding our dog here again. Communication, organization, and customer service all need significant improvement.

When I pick him up I watch them cleaning and disinfecting everything which always reassures me that it's a priority. He did catch an illness that another dog brought in, but they were quick to let me know, quarantine all the doggies and verified he was clean when he came back to join his friends a few weeks later. This last time I was charged 50 dollars in random fees that the groomer stated were normal. For the past 5 years I've been using pet smart I had never had a random 10 dollar charge for "groomer fee" where she stated she had another groomer help her w my dog? I also was charged 20 dollars for 30 mins of de-matted time. Along with an additional 10 dollars for 15 more minutes? This has never been added to my bill before. They usually charge a flat fee of 20 dollars for de-matting. I feel like I was not fairly billed on my 10th visit here. I'd much rather use a local groomer for 150 dollars, where they're professionally trained. My poor dog's haircut was terrible. lol a lot of missed places just to get her shaved. With that said I will say that I have had Paxton (who did not do this hair cut) work on my other dog and the haircut turned out great! If you do go here ask for her!
