Devony is awesome with our cat. however, with Devony out temporarily we got the trainee... he looked so bad my wife cried when i got home. really disappointed. When I called and complained, their customer service was great. they rescheduled me for tomorrow with Devony to try to fix the damage. read more

Devony has been our groomer for about two years and is so good with our dogs! She is patient, attentive and always has a smile. If she notices behavior or other changes, she always shares them with us so we can monitor between appointments, which has been very helpful. Her compassion is obvious. Thank you Devony! read more

Deveny did an EXCELLENT job on my golden retriever, Keegan. His photo should be on the website. It's sometimes difficult to find a groomer that is as talented with a golden. Rheana is my dogs groomer, she always does a thorough job, always on time, and my dog looks great!

Took my dog in on a walk-in appt where no appt was needed. I called in advance to make sure that day was OK for them and a salon worker looked up for my day and said OK bring him in. I had a DR appt that same time and needed to leave him there till I got back which was about 1 hour. They refused to take him even though website says no appt necessary or needed. I told them about the Dr appt and it diid not phase them at all. They only needed to grind his nails and take the access fur off his paws I guessing about a 10 minute job. The store manager came in and basically told me they were not going to do it and the salon was totally empty of dogs being trimmed, etc. I have been a customer of this place for many years. The manager was totally unprofessional in his approach to this issue and obviously did not care that the dog was going to have to sit in the car with temps already in the 80's and climbing. I cancelled my Dr appt. So much for PetsMart caring about animals!!!!! read more

Me and my girlfriend were dropping off our dog at petsmart for her grooming yesterday. One of the groomers, I believe her name was Brianna by the name on her shirt, was being very verbally aggressive to a sweet little white dog. Yelling at the dog saying it was naughty and to "STOP IT". I couldn't see what the dog was doing for her to be so aggravated with it. It definitely upset us and left a bad taste in our mouth. I take both my dogs to the grooming salon here in Carson city. The hours are always very accommodating. I love the staff, especially Courtney! She really does a great job with my dogs. My big girl Katie is and Alaskan malamute and German shepherd mix. She is probably the hairiest dog out there. Courtney did a great job with her and was very gentle as she is getting old. My little guy Mike Wazowski is a mini Australian Shepard. He needs a good cut and cleaning fairly often. Courtney did a great job and listened to what I wanted. She even had some input as to the breed standard cut that was very helpful. I will bring both dog back to Courtney! read more

Used their grooming services for my dog as I was in the area on a visit. Paid $85 for a mediocre bath and brush out. He still had dirt around his mouth and fur not fully brushed through. On top of that, Brianna (who checked me in) probably shouldn't be in a customer facing role as she clearly made it known customer service was not her forté. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been taking my dog here since he was a puppy. This last grooming appt I scheduled the new puppy as well. His rabies vaccination was expiring this month and they refused to see him. They were rude and inexperienced. They even called the manager and they immediately said no. My dog was not new or behind on his shots. His vet told me to take in the record and let them know his appt was next week. His rabies was not expired. So he new puppy and my one year old dog both left without their baths. For the price we pay for these services the customer service should be better. I will be spreading the word to not waste your time or money on this store. read more

The store was advertizing a special on Pawdicures. So I called to ask about it. When I called the gal answering the phone said she knew nothing about the ad and asked me to print it up from the computer and bring it in. I asked if I needed anything else and she said to just come in and pay at the front. Upon my arrival I was denied service because I did not have their vaccination records with me. I told them that when I called I asked and no one said I needed to bring them. "Well I dont know who you talked to, but we can not give any services without those records." Ok lets call my vet and see if she can fax them over, unfortunately for us my vet left early for the holiday weekend and wont be back til Tuesday. The sale ends Monday. PS: I am a senior citizen and it was a struggle for me to get my 2 dogs to the back of the store. I will not be returning to Petsmart any time soon. read more

I have taken my two labs to petsmart pretty much their whole life for a bath and to be brushed every so often. This was my first time at this petsmart and I will not be going back. They are not even that clean, they weren't brushed and when I tried to change my phone number with the staff they ignored it and still called the old number. Very disappointed read more

The staff at this location are top notch. However, today,729/20, there was a lady behind me in line that did not have on a face mask. She was the only one in the store. All the clerks are young and probably did not want controversy, which is understandable. However, what I noticed is there are no signs on the door that describe the Nevada state mask mandate, like all the other businesses post in the area. Please help your own employees and your customers by posting signs in the entry that make it clear that masks are mandatory in NV. read more

I just got my animals back from the sitter yesterday and I have no food left whatsoever for them I just got off of work and arrived at PetSmart at exactly 6 p.m. and the man would not let me inside for 1 minute to get food. apparently the sitter did not feed my animals as instructed and they are extremely hungry. I did not know that you closed two hours earlier today. Working at a pet store the animals should be your absolute number one priority. The man working did not have any consideration whatsoever for my hungry animals that need to be fed right now. If you do not care about animals you should not be working at a pet store. This is the place where I have always came for my pet supplies but I guess I have to go to Petco from now on. I gave Petco a call and they have already checked me out over the phone and set aside the supplies I need so I can pick it up even though I was a couple minutes past closing. I have been visiting this store for many years now for our various animals on a two to three-week basis, Today, I stood in line to get help and waited my turn (like a responsible adult). When it was my turn the kid at the register happily took my money and handed me a receipt then told me I had to wait while he helped the customers now coming up to the line. I waited and watched him help two other customers. Then he turned to another employee in a blue shirt and asks him to get the crickets I came in and paid for. The guy gets on the phone and wonders around the store. Then, while the guy who helped me is now helping another customer, the blue shirt guy comes back and asks the kid what he was supposed to get again. By this point I am mad! I waited my turn, now I have to wait until it is convenient for them?? The lady at the register next now leaves her register and goes into the office at the front of the store. I followed her and asked for the corporate phone number. She tells me that it is normal to have to wait for crickets. Now, I have been purchasing these for a long time......and if they don't help me on the store floor, then the cashier goes and gets them for me immediately. So...how is this normal?? Finally, Mr. blue shirt, who can't remember a simple task, comes back with the crickets. I leave and immediately call the number she gave me. I follow the prompts to customer service and get an agent. Except...when the line picks up, there is no one there. I can hear other reps talking on the phone to other customers. I waited 16 minutes before I finally hung up. Yes, that was a long time to listen to someone else talk to other customers, but I waited to see if someone would return to the line. Nothing. Just in case anyone at the corporate office cares, I called 1-877-435-7670 at 4:15pm today. So, this story gets even better...... My husband calls the store and wants to talk to a manager. The lady, who I followed to the office, gives him all sorts of excuses, lied about what happened, and then HUNG UP THE PHONE ON HIM!!!!!!!!!! This places customer service has really hit a low. I will give my business elsewhere if this is how you treat your customers. read more

Long hair dog grooming: They were very friendly. At first I was taken with how clean she looked but now as I keep looking at her I have to admit that they did a pretty awful job. For some reason they trimmed way too much off way up on her sides, which I never asked them to do. It's very uneven (and they said she was "hard to blend" because of her wavy hair. Her previous owners had her groomed many times and she looked beautiful, so, no, it's not her hair's fault. I just sent the picture to them and they are horrified). We only asked for her belly, rear, leg feathers, and feet to be trimmed. She looks pretty patchy...I'm not the type to care too much about appearance, but look at the picture and judge for yourself. Hope it grows out OK. They left a surprising amount of feather on her legs, so snow and mud will still be sticking there. They also "quicked" one of her dew claws. One of the main reasons I took her to the groomer was because I was afraid of hurting her toenails and she's fussy about her feet. So this was a step backwards in that regard. I saw them grooming a terrier dog and it looked really cute. But if you have a dog with a coat like a golden retriever or some such, go elsewhere. read more

My dog was in for grooming yesterday. I selected a groomer. When I arrived I found out she wasn't a groomer and couldnt cut any of his hair but his feet. The site doesnt indicate that the people working in the salon have different designations and can only do certain tasks. I booked an appt in the 'grooming' salon and chose a 'groomer' because of availability. I will have to book another appt somewhere else to get his 'sanitary area' trimmed as it was not done yesterday, even though the service I booked Listed it as part of the service I booked. They are deceiving customers and charging for things that are included but not done due to designations of the groomers and the designations are not shown on the site. I will not go back. read more

Don't get grooming here. I just stopped to get my dogs nails clipped and they are sharper than ever. I looked, trey cut maybe an eighth of an inch off and didn't grind them at all!! VERY disappointed !!! read more

Ok. First off I don't have a pet that requires grooming - I come here for supplies. The staff seem to be knowledgeable about all the different pets available for purchase or adoption. If they are not sure about something, they are quick to find another worker that is. Every time I have been to Petsmart, everyone has been friendly and very helpful. It's always clean, organized and the shelves are well stocked. If they are out of something you need, it's not a problem to order it for you. Petsmart also supports many of our local rescues and often have a pet donation box in the front of the store. read more

This Pet Smart is amazing it has every thing i need for my puppy and tortoise. My best friend got her first and loved guinea pig. i got all my puppys favorite toys from there for about five dollars! My tortoise uses hay and we get her favorite soft hay. read more

This review is predominantly for the puppy training course my pembroke welsh corgi is in. Mary, the trainer is flexible, good at what she does and adjusts the curriculum to your dogs abilities. I have been able to do a "make up" course with Mary because I was unable to attend one of the usual class times. The Blue Buffalo brand of dog food is throughout the store which is awesome because that's what my dog is on. All the other staff is friendly and informative with anything animal related. Looking forward to continue training through this Petsmart! read more

I have a 10 year old Pomeranian her name is Paloma I've been giving her bad hair cuts since I was 10. I've always been so hesitant to take my baby to the groomers in fear that it would be stressful for her or that she wouldn't be taken care of properly. Giovanna came recommended by my sisters. The first time I took Paloma she whimpered and pulled away a bit. When I handed her leash to Giovanna it broke my heart think that she might have thought I was leaving her for good. Giovanna reassured myself and Paloma. I came back a bit early unannounced to check up on my baby and to my surprise she was completely relaxed in every position Giovanna needed her in and she looked great! The second time Paloma was so excited she was already waiting at the gate to go back and greeted Giovanna. Let me tell you Paloma has never been so happy to get a hair cut hahah....Giovanna always does such a great job and Paloma seems to really like her spa day. I brought my dirty girl (mix of maltese/schnauzer/who knows? to ASHLEY last week prior to her needing surgery for skin cancer and an ulcerated cyst in her eyelid and ASHLEY did THE MOST wonderful job getting her cleaned up & tummy shaved of all her crazy hair and, she clipped & filed her nails and even put a Girly-Girl bow on top of her head. My little terror mix usually snips/snaps at every one and apparently Ashley sweet talked her through the ordeal and she came through with flying colors! YEAH..... now, the other mess will get to see her on Friday and I can't wait to have my two small dogs, clipped, shaved & nail trimmed! read more
