My puppy "Winnie" is the third dog I have taken to Zoom Room Reno. KC and the entire Zoom Room team are absolutely incredible! I had won a six week pack of classes elsewhere in a raffle. We attended all six and then made the choice of registering with Zoom Room. Winnie and myself made more progress as a team in the first lesson than we had elsewhere in six classes! Coming back to Zoom Room was like coming home to family. I was listened to with my goals (service and therapy work) for us as a team and a plan was put together that set us up for success. I am proud to say that with KC, Chae and Bethany's guidance and support along with commitment and work at home that Winnie achieved her first title of AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy at seven months of age. This is our launching block for big goals in the future. Winnie and I both look forward to class each week. She is often the class clown who loves hanging out upside down when not working. Having a young puppy who is regularly complimented on her behavior and manners in public is an incredible feeling. It has allowed us a trip to Montana and Apple Hill along with many local businesses. This would not be possible without Zoom Room. Thank you so very much Zoom Room Family for your love and support!

Fur baby approved. I have pups that visit this location to burn off energy, run agility courses and meet new friends. Zoom Room runs fantastic positive reinforcement training classes. My puppies get to learn while being loved by a great staff. Kyle is a great instructor for both me and my babies in the agility course. I get my steps in while my puppies get to learn how to confidently manage obstacles and figure out puzzles. Dominique leads a great obedience class that really emphasizes a loving, positive and constructive relationship between me and my puppies. My pups graduated from pre-school here. Lexi always remembered my puppies' names, greeted them with a smile and big hug. Lexi setup activities for my pre-schooler that allowed them to have a safe, fun environment to have new experiences and meet new friends.

My puppy started at Zoom Room at 8 weeks old (puppy preschool). She was a crazy chocolate lab with lots of energy. We have done all the classes they offer from obedience, scent workshops, advanced agility, private sessions, and rally obedience ... among others. The trainers are all very knowledgeable and friendly. 100% positive reinforcement training in a super clean and professional environment. Even 2 years later, we attend classes there almost daily. They have done so much for my pooch and myself.

This is him tuckered out after a great obedience class.

Oh my goodness this place is PAWsitively the best! KC and her team are fabulous! I have been coming here with my rescue Bentley and Dominique is our teacher, she is so wonderful! He loves to go, it's great exercise and fun and engaging way to train and bond. I am just a huge fan and so thankful, she gives the best advice, she is always 100% on her game and so educated on best practices. Bentley's age is unknown and he is very scared of most everything, but after just a few classes he is learning, more confident and calmer all over. I love this place!

    Me and my puppy

I've been coming to Zoom Room for about a month with our 6 month old (now 7) month old puppy. KC and all the trainers have been so wonderful. Riley has enjoyed class a lot too and is always excited to be there. We take her to puppy training for 4-8 months and the puppy play group. Her reactivity and ability to listen to us has improved a lot. You can tell they really care about you and your pup and your growth.

This is just what Reno needed. I have two dogs who I have been needing to get them into basic obedience training. I saw this one advertised so I scheduled the orientation to find out more information. After orientation I could not wait to get my 2 year old girl signed up. I bought a class pack of 6 and signed my girl up for the one that was most convenient for us. Most places that offer dog training have you sign up for a 6 week class that has a certain day and time and if you miss one you just miss out. Zoom has class packages that you buy from a 6,8 or 12 class pack. Going into our first class my girl was so excited and the place was super clean and the dogs were well spaced apart from other dogs. The trainers and the other staff were so friendly and helpful. My girl had such a good time and the trainers made it a fun class and had a little game they played with what they are learning. I enjoyed the class just as much as my dog did. One of the other things I love about Zoom Room is if you are not ready for another class right away that's ok, you just go to the app and sign up for your next class when you and your dog are ready so you don't have to worry if you didn't have a lot of time to work with your pup one week you can go a little slower instead of every week. Another great thing about Zoom Room is they have so many good quality treats to mix it up a little for your pup. They also have fun toys, leashes, treat and poop bags too. If you have a dog that needs socialization or training please check this place out first. I am so happy we started here and my little girl loves the classes too.

The Reno Zoom Room is absolutely our favorite place to enjoy time with our puppy. The staff is always helpful and attentive to everything we need to help teach me and our puppy. Their positive attitude are so infectious it spreads to all owners and everyone becomes a cheering team for all dogs. They work hard to accommodate their clients needs. Every dog has their own learning pace and challenges. They address each on an individual needs and each owners desires. They treat every dog like they are a part of their family. It's always such a pleasure to attend and learn from such a devoted crew. I know my puppy is getting the best training and socialization he can.

Great place to teach your dog! So many options to choose from Ammmazing traders awesome atmosphere.

Best place ever! Great place. Environment awesome trainers, love the atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

As a large pit mix I'd rescued, these issues were super demoralizing and we were scared Bo would someday hurt someone, despite our constant vigilance. Plus his world had gotten super small because I couldn't trust taking him to the places we used to hang in public. Anyway, after the meet and greet we went with a moderate board and train program. And then it didn't start as smoothly as we all hoped. Not because of their team, Bo was just more aggressive and reactive than he'd displayed during the meet and greet. Was it disappointing - absolutely, but most important was Stand Proud were having the difficult conversation with us about what Bo needed. We all came up with a plan that set Bo up for success, and they made sure it was something we were comfortable with. Since then, it's been a journey, but the results are remarkable and they've been so invested in his success. He's got a strong grasp on place and sit until released, and even off-leash skills and recall. He's also much more comfortable regulating himself and waiting for guidance when he's unsure. We're so much more confident and proud of the goofball. Thanks Stand proud team!

Taking him for a walk was a struggle as no amount of coaxing would keep him from pulling. The biggest problem was that his fear of other dogs would have him acting defensively. This often led him to him pulling us to the ground. Taking him for a walk was an ongoing challenge to which we adapted and accepted. After 4 years of living amicably with our other older bulldog, Vinnie began to be aggressive towards him. We were on the verge of turning him over to the Humane Society and then we found Danielle, Brandon and their team. The fee for their services and the length of time Vinnie would be away caused us to be reluctant to book their services. A few phone conversations and emails led us to an evaluation appointment at their home and facility in Fernly. Brandon and Danielle spent more than hour explaining everything to us. They both exhibited the qualities we look for in any professional. They presented their background explained their program clearly and simply, and answered all our questions. We had conserns about their training tools but were reassured with Brandon's detailed explanation. They have a large air conditioned kennel with spacious cages, large fenced in yard bordering a large open space. The staff we met were friendly. They were absolutely clear that their residential training is all about building a foundation and that success is dependent on how well we do our job as dog owners. We then observed one of local classes they provide all around Reno/Sparks. The trainer at the class exhibited all of the same qualities we saw in the owners. The dogs in the class were incredibly well behaved. We then booked a 4 week board and train program. When we picked up Vinnie, his behavior had improved 1,000%. Abby, his superb trainer spent 3 hours with us explaining what they did and walking us through what we needed to be doing moving forward. Brandon came by our house about a week later and spent over an hour with us answering our questions and reinforcing the guidance from Abby. Upon taking him home, he has not exhibited any aggression towards our other dog and our walks are more controlled and pleasant. With board and train you are able to attend classes for up to a year. We are excited to attend our first class with Vinnie soon. While we do not expect everything to be perfect, everyone's life has improved, We are grateful to the Stand Proud team and highly recommend them.

On an interpersonal level, she is an absolute nightmare to work with. When we dropped our 14 week-old puppy off with her for the first time, we had a miscommunication where she said she was going to take him inside, and then talk to us. She had meant over text, and then came out to yell at us to leave (I think she wanted clean separation when dropping him off for the first time). She then sent us angry texts for the next half hour (see screenshots). We decided we didn't want to work with her, NOT because we had concerns about the care our dog would receive, but because she was so abrasive. That was 200% confirmed when we went to pick him up. She first yelled at me about being paid before she'd release my dog, which I was fine with. I understand that we had booked a slot even though it had only been an hour (why yell though). She had put a special collar on him, and while she was struggling to get it off my dog was screaming in pain the entire time. During this whole process she called me a "dumb fuck" and an idiot multiple times. I was concerned about my dogs safety and only called her "mam" (well..I lost my temper once we finally got him back). There aren't many dog sitters in Tahoe, and my wife and I were very polite to Victoria through the entire process. She was abrasive throughout, which we chalked up to poor communication. After this experience though, I could never recommend her. She seems to take good care of the dogs, but has a few screws loose. I'd avoid this kennel unless you want to be treated this way.

My dog is so well behaved now, she's a changed dog for the better. Initially I was nervous about dropping off my dog to a stranger but quickly learned that my pup LOVED going to Victoria's and she obviously treats all the pups like they're her own. Since training my dog I now drop her off when I'm out skiing or know it's going to be a long day and she always gives my dog a little refresher on her skills she learned with her previously and my dog is always guaranteed to come home exhausted from playing and learning. Couldn't recommend her more. Life is SO MUCH EASIER with a well trained dog!

My husband and I had been struggling to get our 8 month old mini goldendoodle to calm down. When let out of her pen she would zoom around the house uncontrollably and nip at her sphynx cat brothers. She was a ball of energy! She knew some tricks and obedience cues but getting her to do them was a different story. She's too smart for her own good. Haha. I checked out a bunch of obedience training sites and when I went through the reviews on Sierra K9 Academy all I saw were these 5 Star reviews about Bill and what he was able to harness from all different dogs. I knew I had to set up a consultation. That was the best decision ever. Bill came to our home and as soon as Mochi thundered towards him ready to jump all over him, he gave her a command and she immediately reacted and actively listened to what Bill asked of her. Not only has he given us the tools to keep her calm and attentive when we need her to be, he has helped us to harness her excess energy into focused training. Since she's been home she listens to commands, is calm when she is out and ignores her brothers. She's delighted when we train, she took to the training easily and she's an even more fun puppy. We've taught her two new tricks since being home! Bill kept us up to date with her training when she was boarded. When we picked her up we could immediately see her connection to Bill. She was extremely attentive and seemed so happy and eager to follow his commands. It didn't look like work to her, you could tell from her trot and smile that she was having such a good time. Bill and Shelby were very inviting and it was easy to put our trust in them and they exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to working with Bill as our puppy grows over the years.

We went onto do 3 levels of classes with him. Classes were hands down the best investment we made for him, and he went on to live a wonderful fear-free life. I attribute his high quality of life to his basic training classes and the time we put in when he was a puppy. He learned from a very young age how to settle and be calm in lots of different situations. He learned to trust our directions which kept him safe. Puppy social is in my opinion one of the best classes to put a young puppy in. They get to meet other dogs and people in a safe environment, and the puppies teach each other soft bite and learn how to be social. We recently brought a new puppy into our lives. I love the structure of Pjs classes where your puppy is with the same dogs for the 6-week duration. The happy little puppies can all see each other during the class at Pjs, no barriers (unless required to reduce stress of the pet). I like the scaffolding approach that PJs classes offer. You build the dogs' confidence and skills up in a logical way for them to learn. Plus, the puppies are all watching each other learn the same things. It's adorable. Our new puppy has done several levels of classes at Pjs' beautiful new facility in Sparks and HE LOVES IT. He just completed his AKC Canine Good Citizen, we can now consider therapy work down the road with him. He is so excited to get in the door for any play group I take him to and to his classes. We absolutely loved Rally O with Susie, she is amazing. We have referred Susie to friends with some rescues for consultations and they have been super happy. We will complete all the classes PJ dog training offers, because our dog just loves to learn, he really likes to use his brain. He exudes happiness when we get to class. Thank you, PJ and Susie, for helping us raise a happy confident dog yet again and offering such great classes. Highly recommend Pjs, they have so much experience and are CCPTD certified. They also give you time at the beginning of any class for a quick discussion on any "challenge areas". You learn so much to help you understand your dog's behavior. All classes use positive reinforcement. You learn to build a trusting relationship with your furry family members from a place of respect and love. The facility is always so clean, and they take excellent care in making sure your puppies are safe and not exposed to any bugs. We have never had any problems. 10 stars from us!!
