    Here is the receipt

I frequent this PetSmart about two to three times a month I spend Lots of money and donate almost every time. I noticed I was over charged on and item so I went back the get the difference adjusted. I waited in line and the Manager , with a nasty attitude told me I should have come sooner because she cant give me a adjustment. First she told me they don't do adjustments , she also said I have to have the item. I told her it was still on the shelf so she said come on real nasty. Made me walk back to the item, that was freshly restocked and still the price I thought it would be. So she mumbled something and started back up to the front. She was quiet the whole time, never said a word to me or the person waiting behind me. She gave me the refund and just stared at me with a Blank look. No apology no smile just Blank. Is this a representation of PetSmart?, this Blank look and Nasty attitude. She did this before also, but I never said anything just went back to get another person who never even questioned me and gave the adjustment based on my receipt. On Monday I will call corporate, and then follow up here!!!! PS I went to Walmart because I needed more pet food, and guess what it was 'cheaper! and the cashier said Thank you with a smile!!!

After picking up our new puppy we decided to stop by this pet smart to pick up a few things we felt we may have forgotten. They had a good selection of high quality foods. Plenty of toys, bath, essential etc we're all available here. The sales associate in the store was able to tell that he was a new puppy and we chatted for a bit. She was super helpful and gave us some tips that sounded very smart and had never heard of although we've done tons of research before buying our pup. They also had a restroom in the store which is much appreciated.

The dirtiest store I've ever been into. Tiles missing from the floor. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months

It was fucking brutal. They were my family and my responsibility and I work from home so I was there for every moment of their decline. They helped me identify when was the right time with each of them. I can't express how valuable that certainty is after being burnt out from waking up in the middle of the night constantly to clean up vomit and struggling to get them to eat all day. I reflect on it constantly when my mind wanders but I feel reassurance instead of guilt/shame. The process was beautiful compared to previous experiences with colder, less competent vets. My only regrets are that I didn't get them on pet insurance to help better accomodate their end of life discomfort and off set the cost of their testings sooner. They reminded me about the value of pet insurance and helped me get all of my current pets onto policies through my wifes workplace benefits. The policies already saved me about a thousand already and literally the next week my dog Mochi ate something that nearly obstructed her bowels and cost us 200 instead of 800. I got a new puppy Spaetzle and they treat him like a king. The front desk folks make me feel like a celebrity when I bring him in because he's so damn cute and sweet. They even try to pronounce his name correctly despite its germanic difficulty. They even send automatic "Happy Birthday" emails for your pets. It inspired me to put them in my calendar and celebrate them. Infact its Mochis birthday today, that's why I'm writing this because I plan to try to celebrate their birthdays moving forward so I can feel less remorse and more pride in the quality of life I'm able to provide. That's the kind of change they helped me make.

Also, if you need an appointment same day for an issue they usually will not be able to accommodate and will refer you to a referral hospital which costs $500 just to walk through door. I need a vets office who is able to see us if needed for my pets.

I feel…read morecompelled to leave this negative review because the death of my bird taught me a lesson--one I want other pet owners to heed, as the cost was far too high, and no one should have to learn this through the loss of their pet. The receptionist (an Asian-American woman) acted like a wall standing between me and the medical staff. When I asked her about medical details (such as medication) over the phone, she claimed she had no medical background; yet, when I asked to speak with someone who *did* have medical knowledge, she refused, saying, "They are very busy and don't have time." When I asked her to tell the doctor that my parrot needed lab tests (blood and droppings) before starting medication, she simply said, "That's how we treat diarrhea; no tests are needed." My parrot, Lisa, died within just a few days of falling ill. I had initially sought help at this clinic; later, when an emergency vet advised me to see an avian specialist, I was foolish enough not to follow that advice and instead contacted this clinic again. Lisa had started plucking her feathers after her mate died, and two days later, she developed watery droppings. When I spoke to the doctor at this clinic, I described the appearance of her droppings in detail because I wasn't sure if it was urine or diarrhea. The doctor neither examined the droppings in person nor ordered further lab tests (blood or fecal analysis); she simply told me to come to the clinic to pick up a nutritional supplement. Lisa died two days later! Before she passed, she was passing massive amounts of watery waste; I know she died from dehydration and an electrolyte imbalance. The medication the doctor ordered me to give Lisa had no effect whatsoever (I used medication I already had at home). After Lisa died, I asked the clinic to email me her medical records. Five days went by with no action on their part; only after I repeatedly urged them did they sluggishly send the records. I don't know why they were so careless and slow in handling this. What were they afraid of? After Lisa died, I consulted an avian specialist and showed them the medical records from both the emergency clinic and the clinic where she was treated. The specialist stated that it was highly likely Lisa had suffered from kidney disease; the watery discharge she was passing wasn't diarrhea--it was urine! However, without laboratory test results, it is extremely difficult to make a definitive diagnosis now. Lisa's death has left me heartbroken; my heartaches every day, and I still cannot stop myself from sobbing uncontrollably. I lost my beloved, cherished birds in the span of just 12 days--it was an unforgivable mistake on my part, and I am filled with profound regret. I urge all pet owners: if you ever feel that a clinic's treatment of your pet lacks logic or compassion, turn around immediately and go to another clinic--preferably to a specialist. Your pets' lives are fragile; they cannot afford to lose precious time. They can slip away in the blink of an eye, leaving you behind to suffer endless anguish.
