Do not recommend this place for grooming. Lead Groomer- Sam is an emotional wreck who talks down to her staff regardless who is in front. She has no disregards and enjoys making accusations. Don't even bother going to the store manager whom will simply give a side eye and does not address Sam's attitude. In these pandemic times we are all going through a hard time and it's more of a reason to be empathetic to those employees that show up from work. Sam- you are a disgrace and I hope you take some much needed time to learned to control your emotions and STOP making up assumptions. The store has cameras, use them from time to time! read more

I looked on line ... their were 6 openings for grooming appointments- I called the store and was told they were booked!!! When I questioned how were there openings on line she explained doing my 2 dogs would take up too much of the 1 groomers time!! WTF.... That's what you get paid to go. read more

I really wanted to love this store! It's easy to park, shop and go. But that's it!!! The store itself is very nice, neat. Cashiers are all friendly except the crabby older woman who was rude on the phone first, and then when I showed up to pick up my order this rude woman threw the bags in the trunk and slammed it shut stalking away. Zero stars for her. Now the grooming wasn't pleasant at all. Brought 2 dogs in, only one was bathed, as the 2nd one wasn't because he was left sitting in a crate/cage for way too long and was overwhelmed by all the scents & sounds! he's a kisser and when he did try to kiss the groomer they called us ( 2hrs later) and said "he tried to nip" the groomer. Well, maybe if he didn't have to wait so long after our arrival with other dogs coming in and out he wouldn't have been so overwhelmed. Upon arrival the story changed to " it wasn't a nip" but he did try to lick. When the 2nd dog was brought out, he smelled SO MUCH WORSE then when we brought him in, smelling like urine, feces & every dog from that day! So GROSS. Won't be going back. Now the 1st dog was fine, but he had the female groomer. The male who seemed inexperienced and scared. To shop here is fine, but that is all. read more

Brought my 2 dachshunds a short hair and a long hair. The long hair was such a mess. About a week after the so called groom I went to the store and a groomer came out, I asked her if she thought my dog needed grooming, she looked at the dog and said yes, would I like to make an appointment. I then told her that I had been there the week before and she then changed her mind and said the dog looked fine. They are seemingly confused they refused to groom my dog. His rabies shots expired on the 16th he received shots today on the 17th his grooming appointment was on the 19th and they refused him service. During this trying time they are refusing to work and acting completely lazy. Her tone was actually excited when she said oh you want to cancel your appointment? And I said no I don't. I've gone through all of this trouble to get him the proper shot documentation and you're still refusing to groom him because you guys are just sitting around looking at your phones and laughing just waiting to go home. Literally that's what they're doing laughing eating, leaning on table as well some poor girl is taking half of the phone calls canceling appointments. They are very very disappointing and did not follow policy and procedure when it came to my actions and the grooming of my dog. They just tried to find loopholes because they just wanted to sit there and look on their phones. They don't really seem to care about dogs they just want to take a paycheck and go home. read more

The employees at this Petsmart on October 1st, 2022, sold an animal to a group of at least 6 teenage boys at 3pm after they continued to talk about sacrificing it in the store. The employees did nothing and the boys were able to buy the animal, tossed the animal up and killed it in the parking lot across the street. Please Petsmart be better about caring for your animals lives after they leave the store. Disgusting. read more

The grooming department is awesome here. We've got a young pug and they aren't the easiest to work with. The groomers are patient and do a thorough job. Always return. Only reason not five stars is because aquatics is limited here and staff not very knowledgeable. Not sure if they even have an aquatic specialist. PetSmart in Leominster has several. read more

My husband went here to pick up and order after a vet visit with my very sick dog. I had placed an order and did not get a confirmation so I called to confirm the order was there. I called 978-514-9922. They assured me hey had the order and would put my husbands name on it for pickup. The told him to show email confirmation. I never got one ...I sent him my credit card snapshot... they said no receipt no order like we were the thieves!!!... they refused a refund being snarky about the fact we did have an email receipt.... so if you place an order online they keep your money and laugh that you do not have a receipt... complete scam artists .. ... I now have to go to PETCO to get what I need and contest PetSmarts charges on my card... they had no compassion for my pet in the car or the horses my husband had to tend to at home .... I wonder how many people they do this too?!?! Don't shop here !!!!!!! I will not be buying food for my three dogs, or my three cats, or supplies here ever again!!!! read more

Very disappointed with service at the aquarium center. Many preprinted setups available. I was looking for a new tank setup. I wanted a better light (led vs fluorescent). Same setups different sized tanks and stands. Refused to accommodate with better light. I wanted the smaller of the two tanks and stands. Same price only difference was the lighting unit. I was told I could but the led light in addition to the fluorescent. Added )100 more to my purchase?? No thanks. Very insulting as the told me that just the way it is Petco here I come. read more

My dog absolutely LOVES Shelby in the grooming department!! She does an amazing job every time!!! Shelby takes great care of my dog from the moment she walks through the door until we leave. Any time I say Shelby's name my furbaby gets excited & when we get there she has tons of kisses for Shelby!! She treats my dog like she was her own & I trust her completely! We have been using the grooming services for all of our dogs. The team they have there really do treat your dogs like family. They take very good care of them and they have always come out of there looking and smelling amazing. This is a must try for anyone who owns a dog and wants great service! read more

I just picked up my Shih Tzu/Bichon from her grooming appointment with Danielle. I have had some bad experiences at Petco and some okay experiences with a private home groomer. Being a hairstylist, I thought that I was just being too picky and that's why I haven't been thrillled. To top it off, she is crazy nervous every time she goes and hates being bathed! I decided to try PetSmart since I loved the online booking feature and I was able to get a same day/same week appointment. I can not say enough how happy I am with her haircut! It was so nicely done and exactly what I asked for! I will be back again for sure and probably more often because I can book online! read more

Very helpful staff. Extremely friendly and knowledgable. My German Shepard went through their training program. They had a good size area that class was taught. The trainer was great. Had many tricks and useful information. We learned allot & enjoyed the classes. read more

I've never been a fan of big box pet stores but Pet Smart used to have great customer service. Recently I bought the largest sized Sherpa bag for flying, Once I got home, I researched and found the likelyhood that this sized bag would fit under most airline seats to be very slim. I returned it but because I did not have the original receipt they would not refund my money. They would only give me a store credit. I had the credit card that was used to purchase the bag, they should have been able to look up the sale. Once I use this credit I am done with Pet Smart. Too bad. They might limp along because of their generic, caned 'obedience' classes and 'groomers' which brings business into the building but I'm guessing they manage to go obsolete like many other stores who don't get that if you don't want me buying online which is easier and cheaper then you need to have excellent customer service. read more
