I called on a Friday and left a message to inquire about having my 30 lb Icelandic Sheepdog groomed. I received a text message from Lucas on Sunday following up. When I told him the size and breed of my dog, he replied that they cannot currently accommodate new customers with longer-haired breeds, as the groomers are booked months in advance and they can't keep up with demand. Lucas was professional and apologetic and for that I'm appreciative. Being in a position to turn away customers and income is a good problem to have for any business, and I hope that they continue to see high demand for their services. However, from the customer perspective, the reality is that I called a business requesting a service, and I was turned away. Unless you're a nightclub, that type of treatment, as necessary as it may seem in the short-term, doesn't bode well for long-term success. I still have a dog that needs to get groomed, and I'll have to take my business elsewhere. In doing so, I'll likely recount the experience of being turned away to other dog owners, and as any business owner knows, word-of-mouth is crucial to success. For the future, I'd recommend the team take a different course of action than to simply turn people away- rather, advise on the lengthy wait time, offer to make an appointment, no matter how far out, and offer to call if cancellations arise. I would have greatly appreciated that courtesy and felt as if they really wanted to earn my business. Instead, I was left feeling shut out and as though this business couldn't be bothered to accept my money. At the end of the day, simply saying "sorry, can't do it" to a customer, no matter how necessary it may feel and how politely you deliver the message, will always leave a bad taste in their mouth. They'll tell others about that bad taste, and they'll likely never return.

Luna had a great time during her visit. It was her first time to the groomer at just under 7 months old; her undercoat is still developing and her overcoat is only just starting to come in. We learned that it was the first Belgian Tervuren that Bubbly Pup has groomed, and it was evident they really did their homework and studied her breed for a perfect approach to her grooming. We couldn't be happier with the results and will definitely be back. I also appreciate the convenience of text messaging in addition to phoning for appointments and updates.

As someone who may be a bit overbearing about the care of her dogs, it was a relief to find Preppy…read morePet daycare and boarding. I have two medium sized dogs and one is a crazy 1 year old lab. My primary concern when I board my dogs is that they are not in a cage for the entire day and get plenty of playtime with other dogs in a large area. Preppy Pet ensures that your dog is supervised and gets as much playtime and exercise as they need. They have a good sized outdoor play area as well as a large indoor play area for inclement weather. The staff is very friendly, listens to your concerns about your pet, and cares about the well-being of the dogs that are in their care. The prices are exremely fair and will not make you go broke if you need to board your dog over a weekend. I feel great in knowing that I never have to go anywhere else for a kennel. The staff make me confident that my dogs are in good hands when I cannot be with them. I highly recommend this kennel and daycare!

My dog just got back from being groomed here, she looks great! The woman I met when I dropped her…read moreoff was very nice and knowledgeable (I forget her name). She was familiar with the knee issue my dog has and advised about not cutting my dog's hair too short since she could get sunburned. Timing and price were very reasonable. We will be back for sure. Also, we were advised that our dog is a little overweight - because SHE IS! It's 100% our fault and we know that. I'm not sure why anyone would get offended by this, it's unhealthy and it's the owner's fault. We should be reminded to keep our pets healthy and in good shape. (I did have a good laugh reading the review by the owner who is all, "my dog is just big boned!") Thank you Bath and Biscuit!!

They were easy to find if you had questions or wanted to check out. Thankfully, there were no children climbing the toy racks and/or entitled parents acting rude and disrespectful of other's property. .

I don't think the grooming team is 100% qualified to groom. After a disastrous groom from a guy…read more(witholding his name) there that admitted "I haven't really been trained" and "I'm not going to charge you" left me wondering "Why are you taking grooming appointments if you don't know what you are doing?" He was apologetic. It seems they can do a pretty good Bath & Brush but grooming to breed standard, nope. Won't be visiting for a while. Also, previous groomer cancelled by groom, as I was 13 minutes late. She added "He has mats." Yes, he did have a few mats, but no one has complained that was an issue in the 7 years I've been taking my dog there. I don't think she wanted to groom my dog, he has long hair and takes a while to dry. Since I was 13 minutes late, and she had us wait another 5 minutes, that was enough time for her to cancel. Too bad but Pet Smart has a great groomer and I may revisit for the future.

Over a month ago our appt was made to groom our pups We are…read moretraveling in our RV - made a special visit to grooming salon day before appt. to drop off our proof of vaccinations. Arrived next day of grooming - they would not groom our pups as they were over 10 yrs! No mention of this after receiving our proof of vaccinations which clearly states age nor is there anything I could find on their website about age restrictions. She stated that was her experience. While I appreciate her attention to detail, she could have at least contacted us PRIOR to appt - after we made an effort to drop paper work off. VERY disappointed- she was highly recommended !
