Lizzo, the sweetest girl
Marie G.

This is my sweet baby girl, Lizzo. She passed away at 1.5 years old due to what the specialists refer to as Petsmart's business of selling sick reptiles. We spent $4000 to try to save our sweet girl. The exotic specialist explained he sees a lot of animals from this unethical chain store with cancer, etc. I am gutted over the loss of my precious girl. I'm even more devastated by the fact they sell animals, like our girl, who was sick her whole life with no real chance.

Coolest dog toys yet
Marc M.

Great selection of food and toys! I come in for puppy pads for my two little crazy frenchies. I try to escape without buying them any toys but that's next to impossible. I found some really cool fitness toys for them. I'm sure they will destroy them within 35 seconds of playing but worth the 25 bucks ‍ The staff is super friendly and asked if I needed any assistance. Always nice to see that.

My son just picked up his Golden Doodle after being groomed. They had the dog for six hours!! The groomer butchered the dog. The cut is so uneven, they spoke about the length prior to the grooming and went way lower than what was agreed upon. One ear the hair is long and the other it is short. The paws look ridiculous. What did they do for the six hours and who hired this person to be a groomer. Oh and now they want to give him a credit for his next grooming because they agreed it was not very well done.

do not bring your dog here to get groomed!!! we got our dog groomed by christina and not only is he bald in certain places he got cuts all around his neck!! for the money you're going to be paying it's not worth if for you or your dog!!

This is fur clumps pulled off of him after grooming.

I usually use Splash and Dash in Monroe but someone convinced me to use pet smart for their furminating system. Let me tell you, DO NOT waste your hard earned money here. He is shedding more now than he was going in. Trust me Splash and Dash may be more expensive but my dog doesn't shed for a month and looks so great when they are done w him. My dog after the cheaper groom looks like an unkept Junk yard dog. Horrible grooming, you can do what you like but if you have a dog that sheds and thinks paying extract for their furminator service is going to help you, think again. He looks so unkept, so pissed off. Will never use your service again.

Can you imagine my horror??

When Emma was less than a year old she was running to and from the neighbor's house where I was chasing after her constantly. The final straw was the day that she came in contact with her future boyfriend Tully boy. I did not know that Tully boy was harmless at the time but it scared me enough that I ran all the way home and went right for the Yellow Pages. LITERALLY. True story. It was then that I had an opportunity to talk to Chris and about a week later he installed the invisible fence by Dog Guard around my 2-acre property. He also installed the monitor in the flower beds and in one room inside (where I fed the cats). The training only needed to be done once because the second time Emma wanted no part of it... She took one look at Chris and ran in the other direction.... Which means she got it from GetGo LOL not that I'm laughing really because it's sad to see your dog get zapped for the first time. But she never got zapped again. Once those yellow flags are up the dog wants no part of trying to go through them. Emma would always stay 5 to 10 feet away. Needless to say she never went through it except one time when I was on my bicycle and drove past the end of the driveway down the street. At that time though she didn't have the collar on. In her defense she was just probably a nervous wreck not wondering where I was going so she took the risk. She never wore the collar after about the first 6 months. She didn't need to. Most dogs don't. The first thing I will be doing is calling Chris to install another invisible fence after I get my next home and before I get my next dog. Note: over the years of having my dog fence I needed revisions from time to time because when I was cutting the hedges I sometimes accidentally cut the wires and Chris would have to come back. So really, he kind of became a family friend and a trustworthy source.

Great to deal with. I had an invisible fence installed by Chris and it's worked without problem…read more They are very professional, reasonable and pleasant to work with. Some time after the fence was put in someone accidentally damaged it, Chris was quick to respond and fix the fence for me. I definitely recommend working with them!

But none of this would be possible without the exceptional guidance and personalized help we've had over the past several years from the team at Good Dog. Do yourself a favor, and sign up for class today. You won't regret it! Here's the reality... I had no idea how to train a dog. I thought it was something you do for a couple of months, and maybe you get a dog that listens to you. But Anne's approach of really helping dog owners understand dog psychology and effective techniques for breaking skill-building into bite-sized chunks helped me reshape my thinking and develop the patience and consistency needed to get an incredible result. I never dreamed that I could have a dog that listens as well as Sierra. How well does Sierra listen? Well, her recall is so good that she came running up 2 flights of stairs when I previewed the video I chose to include in this review. Just from the whistle in the video. I thought that kind of behavior was outside of my abilities to achieve. But Good Dog helped me realize that training a dog doesn't have to be a burden -- it's a lot easier than you think. It just requires consistency and a bit of oversight from a knowledgeable expert. Point is... You could have this for your dog, too!

I just wish we found them sooner. One of our current dogs, who was rescued from a shelter, and didn't have a good beginning, has many issues, both behavior and aggression related. I had two veterinarians tell me the answer was to simply "put her to sleep." I was both appalled and angry. I believe in rescuing dogs not killing dogs! Thankfully a wonderful rescue whom our other dog is from (Rebound Hounds), highly recommended Dan and Shana. They have been a god send to both my partner and myself and most certainly, to our dog. There isn't a cookie cutter approach to what works for each and every dog. Like people, dogs are individuals, and what works for training one dog may not be what another dog needs. Dan and Shana worked with our dog, my partner and myself. They are both patient, compassionate and so well versed in both what the dog needs and, how to teach their humans. Our girl needed extensive training. She is now doing training while living with them and their other trainer Dayna. I love my dogs and it wasn't easy to take the leap of faith to send my pup away for several months. It's because I trust them so much, that I am at ease. I know not only is she being treated like a member of their own pack, she is learning and growing so much. We get video, photo and video call updates. I see how our dog is becoming so different, in the most positive way. She is becoming the dog she is meant to be. I know when she comes home, we will have to continue to do the work and, it's so worth it. I see her progress and I think of the two veterinarians who's solution was to put her to sleep! Thank you Dan and Shana, you are the best! I

I can't recommend Nancy at Know Your Dog Training highly enough…read more After doing extensive research to find the right trainer, I'm so glad I found Nancy. From the beginning it was clear that she has a deep understanding of dogs and brings a calm, confident, and professional approach to everything she does. My dog Kane completed a training program with her, and I was extremely impressed with the experience and the results. Nancy takes the time to truly understand each dog and provides the kind of structure, guidance, and consistency that helps dogs thrive. Since then, Nancy has also become my trusted go-to whenever I travel. Knowing Kane is in her care gives me tremendous peace of mind. He always comes home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. What really sets Nancy apart is the level of attention and personalization she provides. This isn't a typical boarding situation -- she genuinely gets to know the dogs she works with and creates a thoughtful, structured environment for them. Nancy is trustworthy, caring, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. I'm very grateful I found her and would recommend Know Your Dog Training without hesitation to anyone looking for a skilled trainer or a safe, reliable place for their dog while they're away.

Having a city dog isn't easy -- our 4-year-old Wheaten Terrier (female) has tons of energy, a stubborn streak, and some anxiety and reactivity issues around other dogs. We were looking for help with leash training and overall confidence, and Nancy was the perfect fit. From the very first interaction, Nancy was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She clearly loves what she does and cares deeply about every dog she works with. I enrolled our pup in a month-long board-and-train program while I was getting married, and Nancy made the experience completely stress-free. She stayed in constant communication, sending regular updates, photos, and videos that showed the progress and the specific behaviors being worked on -- plus advice for us as owners to reinforce at home. When our dog came back, the difference was night and day. She's calmer, more responsive, and walks beautifully on a leash with far fewer distractions. Her reactivity around other dogs has improved dramatically, and she seems much more confident overall. Even after the program ended, Nancy went above and beyond -- she included additional follow-up lessons at no cost and still checks in to see how things are going. Her board-and-train setup is amazing too: the dogs aren't kept in kennels but get to enjoy the outdoors, sunshine, and plenty of attention and enrichment. I can't recommend Know Your Dog and Nancy enough for anyone looking for dog training, board-and-train programs, or boarding with a personal touch. Nancy truly changed our dog's behavior -- and our lives -- for the better.
