After bringing my 2 dogs to PetSmart for baths and brushing for over 2 years (along with purchasing items) i was very disappointed when I went in to drop the dogs off in the grooming salon. i went in with my 2 dogs and was told she would be right with me, there were two people working on dogs and another talking to a gentleman who appeared to be selling them oh his sharpening service. I stood there for a few minutes and listened as the gentleman and woman were talking, one of the groomers even asked for him to leave his card. As my dogs got antzy i walked outside of the grooming center then walked right back in to try and calm my dogs. after waiting 10 minutes i was fed up and told the lady who was still talking to the man, to cancel my appointments. What happened to customer service??? the CUSTOMER should always come first... she could have easily told the gentleman " excuse me one minute please, so i can take care of this {PAYING) customer" but she chose to ignore me. Very Disppointed and wont be returning to this petsmart again for grooming or shopping now. read more

Have used them for grooming several times but the last trip was horrible. only got a 1/2 job. Groomer gave up "she is just too matted" . They still charged me $40 for doing almost nothing. The manager said they would call and try to get dog back in but - it was so bad I had my son finish up the cut - took him 30 minutes to clean up their mess. Still haven not heard from them at all. A bit more expensive than other similar stores. I do like the selection of cat litter, tho, carries more brands than anywhere else I've seen. This place is in a great location but it's never busy which is nice. read more

Took my mom's dog here for grooming. The ladies in the grooming salon were all super sweet and great with my mom's dog (who can be super skittish and difficult). It was $50 something for the whole shebang (teeth, ears, nails, bath), which is about what I pay for my pug at Petco, so average price. I would definitely suggest taking your dog to the wonderful ladies there. read more

I love PetSmart. I come here for pet supplies, my Veteran, grooming. It is a 1 stop shop for our pets. I was shopping the other day and found everything I needed. I was checking out at the lady asked me if I had a coupon. I checked my phone for a PetSmart email and to my surprise I had a save $40!!! Then I saved another $5 for Pet Perks! Despite having dogs in the store quite often it is very clean and well organized. read more

We had our first experience today with the banfield vets at petsmart . Our cat died this morning and they were extremely caring for us and our kids and made the whole experience a lot easier for us to deal with. It was also very helpful for them being open early on a Sunday morning to help us with this. The employee we worked with was great and offered a clay impression of our cats footprint to keep. I've had a cat for over 6 years now and Petsmart was always my choice over Petco just for the shopping experience. Something about Petco felt like a warehouse and I didn't like it. This Petsmart is awesome. The staff are friendly, the pricing deals are good and their pets always look well cared for. I wish I could bring home the adorable Chinchila but my cat would think I was buying gourmet treats. I've used the Petshotel on Academy and wish this location had one but their Banfield is fantastic! The vets are super attentive and nice and really care about what's going on. All in all a great place to bring your pet and buy things for them. read more

Petsmart grooming has officially lost us as a client. I will be contacting their HQ to let them know that I attempted to give Mitch the store manager the opportunity to fix an issue however I was told today on Saturday at 9:30am Mitch was busy in a meeting. Amazing... they have meetings on the weekends. So after I fill in HQ with the finer details, I'll be completely finished with this company, unbelievable. read more

Pretty good PetSmart. I prefer the smaller stores that are not the big chain stores, but I have received good service when stopping in here.

The people who work here are polite and exceptional at customer service. They were very gracious about a recent return we had to make. I recommend this location highly. read more

I received a Canary, from my family, for my birthday. This is a very wonderful gift for an animal lover. Within days the bird started to exhibit symptoms of respiratory illness. After much research on finches I figured out that this bird had a very bad case of air sac mite. I then was faced with trying to save this bird; there was two nights I was unsure that the bird would live through the night. After treating the bird with Scatt and then following with 10 day of antibiotics the bird will live, but he will have a chronic respiratory problem the rest of it's life. THEN I got curious about the leg bands on his legs and posted a question to canary breeders. COME TO FIND OUT MY BIRD HATCHED 2010; THAT MAKE THIS BIRD A 4-5 YEAR OLD BIRD. Buyer beware. read more

We have taken our Goldendoodles to PetSmart grooming in Monument for years. Within the last year or so we have gotten Alyson as our groomer. She is AWESOME! She takes extra care with our aging dogs and we can tell that she truly cares about the animals she works with. Her grooming is the best we've ever had! She is extra careful with the lumps and bumps on our older dog and always asks us specific questions about exactly what we want. We would definitely recommend going to Alyson at the Monument PetSmart for an exceptional grooming experience for your beloved pet! read more

Just found out today our family has been "locked" from receiving services from PetSmart Monument Colorado. Interestingly, approximately 6 months ago I filed a complaint with local management regarding the treatment of my dog after bath and grooming. She was returned to us with fecal matter stuck to her hind legs and backside. When we questioned the groomer the response was, "she kept pooping and we couldn't keep washing her." We've been bringing our pets to this store from the day they opened and until recently haven't had any issues. It's unfortunate we have been purchasing food and supplies up (until today) and the store was more than happy to accept our money despite our family being" locked" from receiving services. So what does that say about PetSmart? It strongly suggests PetSmart is not very Customer Friendly or CustomerSmart and more concerned with money than customer satisfaction. If I understand this correctly, PetSmart policy is to "lock/ban/disallow/bar/prohibit" customers for addressing a concern with management regarding the safety and security of our beloved pets. I would suggest using this as an opportunity to improve quality and/or weed out employees not performing to standards. read more
