Stole over $150.00 from us. We went into this store to purchase dog food for our dogs. We purchased $150.00+ in dog food. At the card reader it said "Accepted Thank You". However, the register froze and did not print a receipt. The cashier saw that it said "Accepted Thank you" because we showed him as soon as we realized the register froze The store manager, Natalie Safford, had us wait well over 15 minutes while they tried to find the receipt from another cash register. It wasn't found. Online, our bank showed the transaction "Pending". Natalie asked us if we wanted to run the transaction again. No. No way were we going to pay for it twice. So we purchased 4 cans and left. Natalie said the transaction should fall off from pending on our banking site in a few days. She said if it does go through on our end, to let her know and she will give us the dog food. Its three days later. The transaction went from Pending to Paid on our online banking app. We called Natalie who looked up the receipt again on their end. According to Petsmart they have still not received payment. On our banking end it shows it paid. They will not let us come get our dog food. Oh but Natalie did give me a hand written note on her card giving us 20% off our next purchase. So we called the corporate office in Phoenix Arizona. Customer Care. We spoke to Caitlyn who looked up our account and told us the same thing. Caitlyn said that if it still doesnt show as paid in their treasury department then we can contact our bank because "the payment is on hold". On Hold? It shows as Paid. So I told Caitlyn that I would be posting a negative review on Yelp and every other social media website I can find and if they let us pick up the dog food, we already paid for, then I will remove the negative reviews. Do not take your dog here for grooming. There are plenty of other options in Muncie and the staff here is very rude. But, if you don't love your dog...go ahead and take them. 0 stars read more

While the groomer did a good job with grooming my dog, I won't be back to this location. My appointment was at 8am. I arrived at 7:50am. The store wasn't open yet but they will let you in if you have a grooming appt. The groomer wasn't there but they told me to wait in the grooming area. Well, the groomer came in, gave me a dirty look. I said Hi, and she mumbled. I was afraid to leave my dog there. I tried to be quiet and be respectful to give her some space while she was getting situated for the day. I felt uncomfortable so i went out to the store part to wait. (If they dont want you there, dont let people in early) She told me to come in a few min later. And was totally rude the whole time. When i returned for my dog, she acted friendlier...(guess she wanted that tip)‍ I did give her a tip (a pretty big one because we all have bad days right?) and she just put it in her pocket and mumbled thanks. I guess nobody has told the staff at the grooming area that if you want happy customers you have to be friendly or at least treat them with common courtesy. The dog was groomed okay but I'm not impressed with the quality of the groom after paying $70 and her feet as well as behind her ears were scragglier than they should be. I did leave a tip for the groomer because I do realize that with today's issues it's rough going for everyone. In summary, PetSmart as a business needs to do something to raise the morale of their employees especially at the Muncie Indiana store because everyone in the grooming department that my husband encountered dropping our dog off and one lady I encountered picking my dog up was very rude. They will get your dog clean but it will leave you with a bad feeling about your transaction both personally and monetarily. read more

Tried the order for pick-up and am never using again. I have the flu so should not be going into a store. Ordered 1 bag of dog food. Almost 5 hours later and still no email that it's ready. Grocery order placed after was ready an hour early. Picked it up, still no dog food. Took my money quick enough but cannot fill simple order. Very polite and helpful staff. The groomers have done a fine job of trimming off the shagginess of my Golden Retriever. Looks like he lost twenty pounds of hair but still looks handsome. We'll keep coming back as long as we're still living in the area. It's great to be able to bring our dog into the store without worrying about restrictions, as long as he's on a leash. Every time I go to this store it takes longer than it should to check out. When I walked in today there were 3 people standing in line waiting to check out. I got what I needed and went to check out and the same 3 people were still waiting to check out. They actually had 2 checkout lanes open, which is rare, and both cashiers were done checking their customers out and were standing there having conversations with them. After a minute I set my stuff down and left. I found the same things on Amazon for less money. read more

Being a Hobby Bird Breeder I have heard ALL the horror stories about Petsmart, This one USED to be one of them!, Lately in the last 3 yrs or so they have really cleaned up their act it is awesome to go in and see healthy birds for a change, Birds have toys and fruits like they should. Before I swore I'd never buy another pet shop bird. BUT if my pet smart had a Budgie (parakeet) I really wanted NOW I wouldn't hesitate to buy one from them. Their store is Spotless all the time, the food rather its bird food or dog food is always Clean, non contaminated with mouse droppings, No holes in the bags, They do cost more but only having 3 Pet stores in town and 2 are disgusting when I have to buy from a pet store I now choose my local Pet smart Vs. Buying online Like I was doing for a long time. So to me having to pay extra to get a good product that hasn't been contaminated by mice is well worth it in my view read more
