I really wished I could give this negative stars. The Lebanon team is completely horrible. Everyone is rude, not helpful, and seems like they hate being there. I've taken my dog a few times for grooming and have had the worse experience. Other than anxiety, my dog is very easy to deal with. After their groomers mishandled him, he never wanted to go back. Very unhappy and frustrated with PetSmart South Lebanon, OH and Mason, OH. Started our experience with a PetSmart in IL - had a great experience with doggie day camp and the hotel. Moved to OH and overall services for grooming was fine. However, I went to book my two dogs appointments this week and I was told that my account is flagged for 3 no shows so I can't book appointments. I was shocked because this is not my character to not show up! I tried to understand what the problem was. To the best of my knowledge there is a no show from 2019 and 2020. I have no memory of these issues; however, I'm human and get things mixed up and I'm not saying I didn't make a mistake. I apologized. The third was because the South Lebanon salon canceled one of the dogs appts as I was already on the way - I don't live close. So, I had to run one dog all the way back home since I was going to work after dropping off for the appointment. They rescheduled my appointment at Mason but also put me on a cancellation list which I was grateful for since they were booked out for a few weeks. I received a call saying I got in earlier. Somehow the other appointment didn't get canceled and they told me I was a no show even though my dog was groomed a few days before. I get it. Things get messed up. I apologized for not making sure that the appointment was canceled. I called to try to get off the "can't book appointments" list. Alex from the Mason store was not helpful. Stated she would call the South Lebanon store to see what she could do and proceeds to hang up on me and not return the call. I called back later and left a message for her and stated we got disconnected and would love to know what she found out. No response. I emailed corporate. I mean none of this was intentional and I would think there would be a little grace since the other two were from a few years back. Corporate called the store manager at South Lebanon and supposedly he talked with the salon manager and groomers and they decided not to take me off the do not book list. Really? I've been a great customer and tip really well. I actually found another groomer and will not be back to PetSmart for anything! Ridiculous customer service. read more

This is SOUTH LEBANON, OH Petsmart....Terrible experience with grooming department. There has been turn over there and you can tell. The store manager appears to have no accountability with the grooming department workers, excusing their behavior because he said he didn't want to "ruffle feathers" and is having trouble finding groomers. They charge extra for our bernedoodle because of his size, which we accepted but they then continued to narrow the timeframe of when they say they can see him which has majorly inconvenienced us, but they said it allows their groomers to leave by 6:30pm when grooming closes at 8pm. I was told to bring my dog in during a week day so they had enough time which we did for year and a half by paying someone to take him in while we are at work. Then in July, they started telling us that he would have to come earlier, as in 9 or 9:30 am during the week but our hired person cannot do that either so we were stuck. I spoke to the manager for us and he said he found us a Saturday appointment almost three weeks out but I explained it would be very difficult because my husband works on Saturdays and that leaves me to drive the kids to their two sports on Saturday morning. I explained if that is the only time then ok but we might be a few minutes late. Brought the dog in a few minutes late as I had explained might happen only to find out they had cancelled our appointment. The manager said again that he agreed with me on everything I was saying but that there was nothing he could do about it. I let him know how disappointed I was and cried all the way home. We bent over backwards for that place only to be repeatedly disrespected and treated like a number. Would not recommend anyone going there. I never will again. Do not bring your dog for grooming. I brought my 16 year old lab in there today. I called ahead of time and left them know she can only stand for few minutes. They told me to bring her in and it would not be an issue. I brought her in and I again reiterated the issue with her standing as well as her age. I left as I was told it would be about 4 hours. After I left we received a call that I need to come pick her up because they are not willing to help her stand for her grooming. So I asked ahead of time and even when I got there if there will be an issue... obviously they are only concerned about pumping as many dogs as they can... sad read more

I stopped in on 2/7/15 for their Grand Opening! It was jammed packed with people and dogs! Yay! Finally a Petsmart in Lebanon....Whooo Hooo! We sooooo needed a pet store in the area, thank goodness we got one. The store is a little on the small size, but the lay out was very easy to navigate. The signage is nice throughout the store. They have a small area for dog training and they also have a pet salon, jackpot! No more driving all the way to Mason! The bonus is we saw some familiar faces in the store and working in the salon. Since this is a smaller store, there is not a PetsHotel. They had plenty of staff walking around and greeting all the customers and helping them find everything they needed. I actually got to speak to a very nice lady from Blue Buffalo about Zeus' food, so that was fantastic. The other thing I really like is they offer buy online and pick up in store, so if you are in a hurry, this is a great service! This is a definate plus to our community! read more

I just ran in to see the dogs that were up for adoption at the HART of Cincinnati adoption event. I bought some cat food while I was there and the person that rang me up, Troy, was super. He asked me for my phone number for my perks card and I didn't even have to ask him anything. That was super. Nobody else ever at other stores asks you, you have to remind them and ask them if they have a store card or if they can use your phone number to look you up for the store card or not. Not this time. This review is for the SOUTH LEBANON, OHIO Petsmart. I wish I had read some of the other reviews before booking an appointment. I went today for grooming my multipoo. It was a very bad experience. The girl did not introduce herself. After checking me in she looked at the dog and stated that he was matted and that she was going to charge me $10 for every 15 min she had to spend grooming him (beyond the $55 charge) because it would take her extra time and be hard on her tools. That is just BS! in my opinion. How do you control how long. I have never, in 7 years, had a groomer charge me extra - they just shaved him down. And he was not even that matted today compared to the past. PetsMart Gooming is a total rip off! They have the worst grooming policies... beware and the groomers had bad attitudes. And don't go to Paige. She was just plain rude. After only being there less than two min from meeting me.. she looked at me and said "I don't feel comfortable grooming your dog because I probably won't be able to please you" Really?!?!?!?!?! So, I agreed, I was not comfortable with her grooming my dog. I will NEVER step foot back in Any PetsMart Goomer. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE I also spoke to management. Not sure that it will help. I worked at a PetSmart through college so I am well aware of the expectations of the employees and the expectations of the store, in general. Never again will I come back to this location. The employees were horribly awkward and rude (to us and to other potential customers), a variety of items in the store were on the wrong shelves or improperly marked and the store wasn't as clean as I have seen several other locations. I highly recommend Shauntae at the Lebanon, Ohio Petsmart Grooming Center. We brought our two dogs, Bubba and Willie, to Petsmart today for 'the works'. The entire experience with Shauntae was great - she is very customer-focused, kind and professional. She LOVES dogs and is very passionate about her work! We have never seen Bubba and Willie looking so good! Shauntae did an outstanding job with everything - haircuts, nail trim, bathing... they look 100% adorable! It's very refreshing to get such outstanding customer service by someone who has mastery-level skills and clearly loves her job!! Stacy groomed my two labradoodles today at the South Lebanon, Petsmart. It was the best experience I've had at a grooming facility (over 12 years taking my furry kids to groomers). Not only were they groomed exceptionally well, she was so accommodating. I don't like dropping them off at 8:00 and picking them up at 3:00 and having them sit in a crate all day. She let me take them in for their appointment time and called me 15 minutes before they were finished. Best experience ever..... read more

Beware.....think twice before you bring your dog here. Booked an appt. and told them to cut him the same time as last time. Not what we got. Our Goldendoodle went in for grooming and came out SCALPED. He had 4inch hair and they should have cut it down to 2inch rounded puppy cut, instead he came out with hair 1/4 inch long and you can see his skin. They cut the under coat so short he will get sunburned. They also cut off his eyebrows and beard. I went to this store today just to look around and the people were so rude. I felt so uncomfortable and could not wait to leave. All of the other stores are great even if you are just looking. The manager said " why are you here?" Since when is window shopping a crime? That was how I felt. I will never go back.
