They took care of them and the time we were traveling and were across the country .. they were very understanding. They gave the med's even though my mom wasn't able to bring her in which was so amazing. Putting the dogs comfort first. we brought here in immediately when we returned back. years later it was time to say goodbye to our baby . She had been paralyzed for years and was suffering. They made it that hard heart breaking day as easy as it could be. They sent us a thoughtful card and wild flowers to plant as a remembrance. the only thing i don't like about this place is since covid you can't come in with your pet. We've been coming here for years. The folks are nice. They treat our dog like she's their own. As of past year, we have been here a number of times due to our dog is getting kind of elderly and has been having some spine issues. Back when we could go in to the building, the place was always tidy, the rooms were painted welcoming colors and the staff was always friendly to our pet, and us and that's how it should be. They are here to help them deal with whatever and explain to us what might be going on. Commend them on this. Now we pull in, if they don't come out immediately, we just call the number, give them our dogs name and the spot # we are parked at. It's a little odd but it is what it is. Hopefully this virus thing will be over soon and we can get back to normal. read more

I made an online appointment to have my dog's teeth scaled, cleaned. They sent confirmation. When I arrived they weighed him, and began telling me the price range, assuming X extractions. Then they went on to explain that they were not going to be doing it that day. I don't need them to weigh my dog, he had just had a full physical including a blood test. So they basically charged me $55, waisted my time, when I had set the day aside for the procedure, and his recovery, they anestasize dogs when they do the procedure, all of which could have been done with a letter. Wasting my resources for B.S. that could have been handled with a letter shows nothing but contempt on their part. I didn't schedule an appointment for a consultation. I clearly stated that it was to scale his teeth. They had plenty of time to cancel the appointment and send me a letter explaining the costs and to have me reschedule. If schedule an appointment for X, I expect that the obvious purpose is for X, nothing else. They got the last money from me that they'll ever get. read more

After years at All About Money, I started taking Lo' here for shots, etc. Yesterday I brought her in for a "hot spot" that she's been "worrying" for almost two weeks. Although the waiting room was busy, we were in within 15 minutes of arriving for our appointment. The vet and the tech were both friendly and attentive. They took their time with Lo. What impressed me was how well they handled Lo, who can be a difficult dog (read: she'll bit your hand off). A vet visit and two shots totaled 34 dollars; I bet the same treatment at AAM would cost me 75 - 90. It's not the prettiest place, but it's clean, the staff is good, and the prices are excellent. i'd never deny my dog quality care, but I don't feel it's necessary to spend three times what you need to spend on something. The staff at AAM are wonderful, too, and obviously have no control over the prices charged. read more

So I use to think very highly of the vet office until today when I went in I found out they have the ability to receive and send faxes despite previously being told the cannot , the reason I'm insanely upset about this is my dog is required to take an allergy medicine Apoquel 16mg and it's far more expensive at the vet office than online pharmacies actually double the price , so I go in and get my prescription and have to mail it which was never a big deal until this last time when it got lost in the mail and my poor little dog has been suffering itching until she bleeds and her skin is red as can be , so I went into the vets office today and told them what's going on and they printed me out another prescription to mail in and they said if it gets lost again call and we'll just fax it for you so at that point I got enraged but didn't show it I calmly said I thought you didn't have the ability to fax and the lady responds oh yeah we can we just don't like to do it . So what this place would just rather animals suffer if they can't get my money for the prescription that's extremely selfish and greedy instead of helping a sick animal in pain by taking two seconds to send a fax ( which you have the ability to do and lied saying you don't on several occasions) you would rather make it harder for me and my dog just because you're not the one getting the money for her medicine that's straight petty and pitiful on KKMs side of the ball . read more

I've been very happy with KKM. We have three dogs and one cat that we take to KKM on a regular schedule. The staff is very friendly and professional, they know how to take care of the pets, help comfort, and answer questions. Our first puppy we took in was able to use the VIP program when it still included the neuter operation and that was a great program, I wish it wouldn't have been abused so they could still offer it. We did go ahead and keep him on adult VIP which has saved us money a couple of times on visits outside the regular schedule, 20% discount. It's also nice to just pick up the prevention pills and they are already payed for. They have done a wonderful job with our other two dogs as well, from 8 weeks to current. We found a 3 week old kitten and they promptly got us in for emergency evaluation the day after we called. We love the vets, vet techs, and front desk people! We have 8 and 9 year old dogs that have gone here since pups. The price is so reasonable and I never feel overcharged. Heather even has a relationship with my dog that is so special. He loves to come. My dads dog was passing away and his vet wanted to do tests and cause him pain. He came here under my suggestion and they understood my dad's concern and were so great to him and his dog. He now drives from west chester to them for all his younger dogs care. I can't say enough about how much we love them! They are almost in their new building too. read more

I used to love this vet office, until recently. Two of our cats had to be seen for possible medical conditions. The first one was kind of taken care of. The second was not. She was (and still is) making a strange sound sometimes when she breathes. I was able to get a video of her making this sound on several occasions. The vet refused to see the video, and said my cat was probably in the early stages an upper respiratory infection. I told the vet that was unlikely, because she had been making that sound for several months. It started off slowly, and sounded like she was snoring. It progressively got worse, and was almost constant. The vet didn't seem to care. She did absolutely nothing to address my concerns. read more

I've been here with all my animals and previously my Moms animals but we are no longer coming here. The Past 3 times I've talked to anyone on the phone they are very rude ( I'm pretty sure their name was Karen or Becky or something basic like that) scheduled an appointment for 2 of my animals last week and was running 15 minutes late ( which is completely my fault ) so they canceled the appointment as I was on my way there. So I rescheduled that same said appointment for the following week. I pull up on time this time and called and said I am here for my 2 animals appointment. They now say that they only have 1 of the animals on for the schedule. (Mind you it's just shots and nail trims.) so they put me on hold to ask if they have time to squeeze in the animal they forgot to schedule. They put me on hold for 15 minutes meanwhile they LITERALLY canceled my last appointment for me being 15 minutes late. So then she proceeds to tell me that it's going to be a wait to see my original animal bc there is another animal Ahead of mine and the vet was in the middle of another appointment at the moment and of course an even longer wait to "squeeze" in my other animal THEY forgot to schedule. They were also very rude about giving us our records when we asked so that we can go to a new vet that can handle not being rude when making mistakes. This place is a joke. EDIT--so w/ them replying. They said they left me a voicemail to reschedule said 2nd animal and that never happened. Just saying anything to try and cover y'all's ass. Sometimes it's okay to admit there were errors made instead of CONSTANTLY blaming your patients. My pets are very happy w/ the new place we take them too. read more

My wife and I have been taking our pets to KKM, or its predecessors, for 40 plus years. We now only have a Persian kitty, Nellie, that needs periodic nail clipping every 6 weeks. In calling today, July 7, to schedule a clip, not only did I wait on hold for a combined 15 minutes on two separate calls, an appointment wasn't available until July 15. I have always assisted the vet tech in the clipping and don't understand why a procedure which takes approximately 10 minutes isn't scheduled as an in-and-out procedure consuming maybe a total of 20 minutes KKM time ($15 per cut/$90 per hour). I would hope that KKM understands that the pet owner is the most important client. read more

Called in to make appointment for both my dogs as new patients. I told the very rude and unprofessional receptionist that the one dog in the past had stomach problems in the past. Also my loving poochie has been throwing up once in awhile every couple of days. Other than this issue my dog was has been eating play normal and stable. I was told by this off the street receptionist that their doctors could not handle issue. Also I needed to take the to emergency room. My reply was the dog is stable and acting normal other than this once a week throwing up. She then replied they was way to busy for both my dogs and I needed to fine another vet or go to Veterinarian emergency room. Then she hung up the phone on me. To make matter worse this Whole conversation was on Bluetooth with my kids in my vehicle. This receptionist really traumatized my little girls. Now my Kids think their dog is going to die and when they went to see Santa later that night. My kids asked Santa for Christmas not to let their dog die. Thank God Santa reacted well and gave me his vet that he use As well claimed down my little girls. In closing this other Veterinarian facility was polite and very professional. They got me in later that day. Come to find out the dog just needs to change her diet. Thanks Santa for saving the day. As for KKM Im not sure where you found your Receptionist but I would let her good. As far as anyone reading this take your loving animal family member anywhere but to KKM. read more

I have a dog that has had bladder stones and also some arthritis. Krebs is very understanding and accomodating. They always get me in right away. I never feel rushed when I'm talking to the vet. The prices are also unbelievable. I just wish I would have started going here a long time ago. read more

This is a veterinary office that truly cares about pets. I had been taking my pets and spent much money on spays/neuters of neighborhood strays at All About Money in Middletown. However, upon one occasion where I had been unemployed and in between jobs, I brought in injured kitten to them that a little girl in my neighborhood had brought to me (crying) and they would not even look at her and actually treated me like a vagrant. I cannot tell you how many spays/neuters business I had taken to them on top of having a stray put down for approx. $300 after testing for FIV and Felv. When I asked if there were grants for her to be treated, they gave me a Care Credit form (not a grant form). Unfortunately, I had already spent $1000 plus $500 on the Care Credit to treat my own cat a few months before for a blockage. I had also used the remaining balance on my Care Credit to spay and neuter two strays just the week before with All About Money. Then, they mentioned the SPCA and that the kitten could be euthanized and without even looking at this little girl's kitten. Finally, after asking again (repetitively) they finally gave me a sheet of paper with organizations that could help and told me to go home and apply. NO HELP, just go home and apply. They wanted me out of their office quickly, as well. While another person brought a stray in and they had the money for the office visit and they were immediately admitted, of course. Animals are obviously not high on their list but, $$$ are. Then, I began to call other vets in town and called Krebs. They were so kind and compassionate and they referred and took their time to let me know how to get assistance. They even worked hand and hand with another local vet to accomplish this. This is an office who cares about animals and not simply $$$. I understand they cannot stay in business by providing free services but, just a point in the right direction with care and offering whatever they can to help you take care of the kitten at home was wonderful between these two vets that worked together with each other to accomplish this. You have 5 stars with me and definitely my vote! The kitten is recouping and doing quite well with your help. The little girl has been coming over every day to see her little kitten. What a difference you made in a needy kitten's and little girl's life! Kudos to you, Krebs! read more

I have been taking my Yorkie here for years. She is now 15 and still doing OK. The staff is friendly and I have not had to wait very long. The waiting area is large, so if you have a small dog/cat you cat sit further away from the larger animals that might come in. Each time that I've come in, I've gotten some new advice on ways to deal with my aging dog (i.e. tips for tartar). The prices are very competitive. read more

I used to take my animals to this vet. I took my cat here for a standard neutering procedure when he was a kitten. The vet called me and told me that he wasn't doing well (apparently he was bleeding out) and that they didn't have the facilities to deal with his worsening condition and suggested that I pick him up and transport him to ER services elsewhere. I live 30 minutes from the vet and the closest Animal ER was 30 minutes from the vet as well. I asked them if they had any transport services or contacts to transport him to proper facilities in his quickly worsening condition (since I was far away). They said they would not transport him or provide me with a service contact that could help transport him where he could receive care. All this time he is continuing to bleed out- the 30 minutes I drove to pick him up and the additional 30 minutes I had to drive him to the Animal ER in Cincinnati in a panicked state as he still continued to bleed out. I asked if a trained technician or vet could stay with us/him while he was in an unstable state during transport to the ER since I did not know how to help him or keep him as stable as possible and they were still lacking offers, helpfulness, ideas, and/or advice as they, in short, just stared at me so they could go home for the night. The veterinarian said she suspected that he had a clotting disorder because he was bleeding from his surgical site. $1500 later, after having to spend that much at the ER, turns out that my cat did not have a clotting disorder, in fact the ER provided me with documentation that his very near death experience (as a very young kitten who had gone in for a simple, standard neutering procedure) was the result of the veterinarian's failure to perform ligation(tying off) of the spermatic cord during his surgery- which is a standard, textbook, and very important, necessary part of any neutering procedure. Care Center (Animal ER) in Cincinnati, OH is wonderful and thankfully they were able to save his life (he has a lot of life left ahead of him- he is just 6 months old). Obviously I am highly dissatisfied with this vet (while their prices may be lower than others - it clearly comes at a price here).
