The guy hates baths, hates strangers, hates being away from me--but Chloe? She talks to him like he's royalty, never rushes, and somehow gets him to sit still for a manicure without a single yelp ( pun totally intended) Seriously, tho if dogs could write reviews, Westley would give her six stars. Made an appointment for 2:00 on a Tuesday. They made my dog an account but apparently the ** didn't actually make the appointment. Then had nothing to solve the issue. Then the employee in the background wants to say maybe it's an online account. Tell me how the dog was added to my account when it's never been to a PetSmart. Really bright people. read more

for context, we have a puppy that's 5 months old. we saw this item that looked like a good snack for him. I asked the employee if the was rawhide(he doesn't eat rawhide) and she told me "yea it's not" hours later we researched the item to find out that is rawhide. the fact that I as the buyer have to double check my items that i buy because the employees are so incompetent and inconsiderate to check they're products is ridiculous. the employe i talked to deserves a write-up. My son dropped our pooch off for a full grooming. When I took her home I noticed lots of fur in the front seat of the car. She had not been brushed out. Her nails needed to be trimmed and they were only slightly rounded leaving plenty of sharpness to tear at our skin when we play with her. Her hair is short except around her face like a schnauzer it was still in her eyes. It appears she was only bathed and given a very light nail trim. They didn't even bother to thoroughly brush her out. I was there at around 4 to pick her up and there was only one employee visible with another working in the back. I feel like we really got ripped off on the full grooming package that we were charged for. I won't be back. read more

This review is specifically for their grooming department. On 1Jul23, shortly after moving here from out of state, we brought our 13 year old, elderly goldendoodle in for grooming. While being groomed, one of the groomers cut his back hind leg so badly that he needed to be taken next door for stitches (was put under anesthesia). Since being hurt and due to his stitches he has been unable to do the few things that bring him joy (no swimming, dog parks or walks). Additionally, he was left half-groomed and until I called the main PetSmart number yesterday, NO ONE from the grooming department had reached out to me to see how he is doing or to offer to finish the job they had to stop since injuring him (I will not be taking him back there). I received a call from the store manager today and was given an apology with no suggested way forward to make my dog any kind of "whole", aside from lamenting that we weren't charged for the grooming that had been done (lol). He now starts shaking in fear when my husband and I have tried to clean him up since he was left in a disheveled manner. I would look for grooming services elsewhere. Your dog could leave worse than they come without so much as a follow up from the people that hurt them. read more

Took our Doberdoodle for his first real all over haircut. Kayleighfaye was his groomer, and she did a great job of showing us the hair length choices, explaining how she would cut his face, ect. They had him for about 4 hours, so said full haircut is a long process so they give him breaks in between each step, which I think is good. He looks adorable (and way smaller than when we left him lol, but he had a lot of hair). Very pleased and will be back for more grooming at Petsmart. read more

I have shopped here for years for my fur babies. From dog toys to cat litter. I also worked at Banfield inside of this Petsmart. The staff has always been helpful and loves animals just as much as I do. They usually have everything I need. Love their adoption events. This is a good store. read more

Made a on line order for dog food...expensive dog food. Original order was for 24 cans at $70 and change. The store was short 4 cans so the order came to $64 and change. Petsmart put 2 different orders thru to the bank, because of the difference in quantity. When I assumed that once the $60 transaction was complete the $70 transaction would go away, immediately...nope, 2-3 business days. I had a bad experience with a grooming issue with a dog at the mobile store years ago, so I left. Decided to take a chance with food at the Malbis store and now they have hijacked my account per their protocol... Never again... read more

I went in to exchange a small dog crate that I've had less than 20 days that was clearly defective and cracked on one side near the opening of the door. The store manager stated she was not going to allow the return because as the back of my receipt stated "items returned must be re-saleable. I then explained I didn't want to return the item, I just wanted to exchange it for the exact same thing. Both the store manger and the sales associate were then extremely rude, laughing saying it looked like my puppy might have cracked it and they were not going return it or exchange it. To say that my dog is crazy might be an understatement. She loves people, especially her family. Every time we left her at home, she would destroy her metal dog crate, my sofa, and one particular dining room chair. Most of my friends and family think I'm a little crazy too, because taking her to a shelter or finding her a new home is just absolutely not an option. Finally, when we came home one day to find that she had chewed up a down comforter, I almost reached my breaking point. Off to PetSmart we went, with tear stains on my cheeks and Jazzy on her leash. We were holding an arm full of calming products and asked the manager about the heavy plastic crates. She was honest with us, and told us that since Jazzy would shred the heavy plastic bottom of a metal crate and break the bars to escape, buying a $140 plastic crate was going to be a waste. She also told us that the calming collar and pills were not as effective for most dogs as the Sentry Calming Diffuser plug-in we were holding. She suggested a couple of different animal chews to go along with her toys to keep her entertained while we're not home. She also talked to us about training classes, adopting a puppy friend for her, which the hubs nixed, and she promised if the products we bought didn't work, we could return them. That was appealing since the diffuser was about $30 and may not work for her. We appreciated that she was more interested in helping us than making money for the store. That's how to win repeat business of loyal customers. Guess what??? The calming diffuser works!!! Why didn't I know about those things when my sons were going through the terrible twos? It's a miracle that must have been sent from God above because Jazzy behaving this well for this long is nothing short of a miracle. She has not chewed the sofa, chair, or anything else since we plugged it in!! More importantly, she's not freaked out about being left alone. PetSmart and their employees made our lives so much easier and happier! They did hold true to their word about returning things that didn't work for us. Jazzy wouldn't touch the antler, so we took it back and there was no problem whatsoever. If you're shopping for pet supplies, they have pretty much everything imaginable for any kind of household pet you have. They also have training classes, grooming, and boarding services. Rudest employee I've ever had the displeasure of encountering. Walked in with a friend looking for a specific brand of dog food. Employee immediately starts hounding us with questions, like what were we looking for and if we needed any help, which seem like very friendly/helpful questions, except that this woman was clearly trying to "catch" us for coming to look and not buy or something. We escaped the woman and found the dog food aisle, but they were out of the brand we were looking for. On our way out of the store, as we passed the same employee, she says to us under her breath, "Wow, I guess you didn't find what you were looking for." in a very rude and condescending tone. I booked a groomer appointment for 2 dogs early in the week. I called back later in the week to give vet information and again verified the appointment. The day of the appointment arrives so I call again to be sure of the appointment and after 10 min of searching I was told the appointment had been cancelled. I was not called or notified. I am beyond unhappy. Not to mention- the conversation in the background consisted of an employee telling his supervisor he told one customer that she was going to have to deal with it when asked if the customer was happy. Maybe it was a blessing the appointment was cancelled? read more

Visited recently and found most all of the groomers that had been there for very long were gone. There were only three employees in the grooming department, all seemed new. When we checked in, they did not take the time to check our dog over for any issues or ask many questions. His shot records were outdated and we had the new record with us. The lady was looking at his information on the computer and never mentioned the shot records. We had to hand them to her and tell her they were updated. The lady that did the groom did an ok job but not the cut we asked for and he was full of loose hair when we left. Along with the 3 people in the grooming department there were very few dogs. This place is normally very busy on the weekends. We have always gotten great service in the past but this trip was not the level of service we are used to from PetSmart. With the turnover of this many employees at one time, I am definitely wondering what has happened. With the drop in the level of service and care for the dog, I am also definitely considering another option. Will check back when it's time for the next grooming, but at this point I am not sure it will be back with PetSmart. read more

The management here has the most apathetic attitude, ever. They truly don't care helping customers or their furry children. I spoke directly with a manager, as I was trying to change my babies food from BENEFUL. The Manager tells me, it doesn't matter what you feed them, they're pretty much all the same.
