I appreciate that the facility has an evaluation of all new dogs for daycare and boarding. I dropped my pug off for a day of daycare for a combination of individual play and group play. I asked them to feed Maddy as well at lunchtime.When I picked Maddy up she looked very happy and satisfied. I was also surprised she ate her lunch because often time she does not like to eat when she is so excited.They said she played very well with others and had a great time. They also allowed the first day to be free of charge for new customers. My only criticism is that they might want to wash down the front entrance doors and sidewalks. The first impression is that things might be grimy inside. Luckily, I could see things were clean inside. I liked the small retail space they had for toys and other items for dogs and cats. I will take Maddy back again because she seemed to enjoy it. read more

I dropped my pup off here for the weekend and requested they give her a bath and groomed her that Thursday (when I dropped her off) but when I picked her up Monday morning, she still hadn't had her bath. I asked if she was bathed and the girl at the front desk said not yet and it would be an hour until the groomer could get to us that Monday on pick up. My baby had a few chiggers in her skin that she had to have that whole time she was there. I was pretty disappointed. I was confident they were going to bath her and check her since she had been playing in the tall grass. Maybe there was a miscommunication in the line. I did get to view her on my phone and do check ups daily but they turn the cameras off at night. read more

UPDATE: The manager called me and our issues were resolved. TLDR: I spent $815 for 5 nights and their stay was unacceptable and I want my money back! They overfed my dogs and forgot to give back their meds! This was my 5th time that I had my 2 dogs staying at this location, and this was the worst experience. I should've known that they would do a horrible job when they called me 30 minutes after dropping them off saying that they're unable to take Lola's harness off, because she kept growling at them. The staff told us that we need to come back to take it off or they couldn't keep her. We did offer to take off her harness while we were checking in, but they insisted on doing it themselves. And then they called us complaining that Lola won't let them take it off. Lola has stayed with them multiple times, and they knew that Lola is an anxious dog and they she's always shy on her first night. The staff was lucky that we were on a roadtrip, and not trying to fly. We would've been screwed over. So they decided to inconvience us when they should've just allowed us to remove the harness off of our own dog. Word of advice: if a pet parent offers to do something for you, LET THEM. They know their pet better than you! I should've just taken my dogs out at that moment, but we had to leave for a trip and didn't have any last minute options at that point. We checked them in on Saturday afternoon. On Wednesday morning, they texted us saying that Lola was out of food. And asked us if we'd like to have her eat the Purina they have on hand or DoorDash a pack of our preferred food. We always pack more than enough food whenever we board them. We planned for 8 nights, and we packed enough food for 9 days. So they had to have been overfeeding her. Why would you ask us how much they eat, and then overfeed them? We just said to give her Purina since we were six hours from home, and we didn't want to pay for DoorDash. On Thursday night, we picked up Coffee and Lola at 7pm after coming home from our trip a couple days early. I asked the staff member how did Lola run out of food in 5 days when she had enough for 9 days. The staff member had no idea. After we got Coffee and Lola back and we got their bag and paid, we were about to go home. But when I checked our bag for all of their toys, blankets, and medicine; Coffee's leftover food was missing along with his and Lola's prescription medication. I went in and told the staff that and they apologized, and took the meds from their safe and gave it back to me. I also asked where Coffee's leftover food is. And a staff member told me that, "If it's not in the bag, then he must've eaten it all." So they were overfeeding Coffee too. Again, we packed him with more than enough food, and we picked them up a couple days EARLY. This was the THIRD time that Petsuites has checked us out and forgot to give us back our stuff. The last couple times it was just a blanket and some toys. Forgetting to give us back prescription medicine is unacceptable. I felt that the staff was rushing to get us out of there even though pick up is until 8pm. I know that we were picking them up a couple days early, but that's no way to treat someone who's trusting you to take care of their family members. If you offer pick up times up to 8pm for the Silver and Gold package, don't get mad at us for utilizing it. And definitely take the time to make sure that your guests have all of their personal belongings. On our way home from Petsuites, we noticed that Coffee and Lola's blankets and harnesses were damp and smelled of urine. So they must have had an accident in their room and it got on their stuff. Petsuites staff didn't tell us about that. They just packed up their stuff and checked us out. We had to drive home with our dogs and car smelling like urine! I don't know if they're under new management or they're understaffed, but Coffee and Lola's stay at Petsuites Gahanna was unacceptable. I want a refund! Went to pick up our cat Levi. His water was filthy and very low in volume. His litter box had 3 uses inside of it. If someone checks this 3 times a day as Pet Suites says , how is this possible ? This was our first time coming to pet suites after so many nightmare groomers so I was already hesitant. I would give 5 stars to the grooming service, and the overall quality of the service we received. My reasoning for 4 stars was the staff. I felt as of the staff were more there to just be place holders more than anything. I checked my girls into their grooming appointment and then the groomer (she was the only one who was absolutely amazing) was asking me questions about what kind of cut we wanted for each dog and all of the required information then told me she would call or text me when completed and the girls in the front would finish up with me. She took my girls back to get started but the girls up front just stared at me and asked if I needed anything else and i asked if I was good to go or what else I needed and they were like no you're good that's all. Upon pickup, i came back in and paid and then the groomer brought my girls out but I didn't get any information on how they did or if they were scared or really any information on the grooming. The girls up front didn't really answer any questions or seem like they wanted to help. Other than the girls up front at checkin we had a great experience and our groomer was amazing. This location was a first time for me and the staff took care of my fluffy Samoyed Zeek for 3 days in his suite and interacted with him sending pictures and updates (energetic, talkative, playful, friendly & happy) which made me & my husband beyond happy. No neglect to him what so ever when we picked him up. I saw past reviews and was hesitant but I see that the crew they have really loved him and couldn't wait for him to come back and see them. We will be referring and using this location coming august because as I am a currently in the military is works out for my husband and myself to trust this facility. I am in SHOCK at how horrible my experience here was. My dog is a sweet, friendly, and relaxed cattle dog that has done well at many grooming and daycare facilities. I took my dog here for a bath with the spa package. I had an appointment at 9am. At noon, I had not heard from the facility and was starting to worry. I went in to see if she was done and they said they need another hour. Why is it taking 5 hours to wash my dog? I get a text an hour later saying the groomer had to leave, my dog's service wasn't completed, and I would need to reschedule. I arrive, pissed that it took them 5 hours to not even complete a simple service. They brought me my dog, STILL DAMP, with ears and face still wet. Instead of rescheduling, they then proceeded to charge me $62 even though my invoice on my phone only showed $31. I told the attendant I didn't feel comfortable paying for a service that didn't happen. She argued with me and said she only didn't get a nail trim, though in the text sent to me I was told she hadn't even completely dried. I showed her the invoice on my phone and she said it was wrong. She said she'd take off the spa package and the nail trim but that was it. I paid 45 dollars for a 5 hour wait and a wet dog. When I got home, my dog started chugging water like crazy, like she hadn't had any water available to her for a while. I don't trust the people here. I don't like how I was treated- there was no empathy, and no apology. And my dog is distressed. read more

First time ever taking our goldendoodle to any type of day care facility. He's very social and does well with friend's dogs, dog parks, park walks, people etc. He participated in the all day play. When I picked him up all of his fur was CRUSTY to an extreme level, he was covered in knots and reeked of urine!! You could have told me they bathed him in urine and I'd believe you. Also had a bald spot on his hip as if he'd been shaved there? The next day he had diarrhea for the full day! Won't be returning here ever again! I would have appreciated atleast a phone call from them explaining what was going on through the day. Our dog was injured to the point of needing staples and no one at your facility cared. You neglected her. I would not wish any of this on any dog. You didn't absorb our financial burden because this trauma our family is going through has gone well beyond just recovering from her vet bills, our lifestyle has completely changed due to your neglegence. REVIEW- I am going to make this the ONE review you do want to read BEFORE you take your dog here for any services, please take a few minutes to read this, in hopes that it will give you insight on this facility! Also I have receipts, photos, and email exchanges of this incident to prove my dog went to this facility and that this injury was obtained there! In case the owner is bold enough to reply to this review combatting it. First and foremost, you will read a lot of reviews that say how amazing the facility and staff seem. I myself was one of them. Under new ownership or being renovated or whatever changes they made, I was blown away. This place truly seemed incredible. Staff always seemed friendly, the atmosphere seemed upbeat and clean. What more could you want?! However on October 3rd that all changed. I picked my pups up like normal after only being there for 3hours. The staff didn't say a negative thing to me. Said my dogs were great, and I went on my way. To REALLY shorten my story for the sake of a character limit. My night ended up at the vet for 2hours to care for serious wounds my pup received at this daycare which I found out myself by seeing my dog bleeding in the back of my car in which the STAFF NEGLECTED to treat her for and didn't call me to tell me about so I could take her to a vet myself even!! My dog needed STAPLES put in her leg for a deep puncture wound she had, and on the opposite side, almost symmetrical to the other wound she lost LAYERS of her skin, the vet said as if she was dragged over something or scraped incredibly hard up against something. These wounds were deep, and I know my dog yelped in pain. NO ONE HELPED HER. Thank God she was only there 3hours! Had she been there longer with NO medical attention the story could be far more traumatic. My dog is white, and the blood coming through her white fur was VERY NOTICEABLE. They will pay for your medical bills for your dog to shut you up, other than that NO ONE CARED, NO ONE TOOK RESPONSIBILITY. Not corporate, not the lazy staff at the facility. No one. So I'm left to take 2 weeks off work to care for my pup who cannot be boarded anywhere due to her staples (i will NEVER board her again after this) and give her 3 medications a day and an ointment, all because their staff neglects helpless animals. I am sickened by this incident, and cannot believe the unbelievable laziness of this staff. They claim if any medical issues arise under their care that your dog will be cared for by reaching out to your vet or a local one. That is a LIE. For the safety of your pup, your family member, do NOT trust this facility with their life. They do not care about the well being and safety of your loved one!!! read more

When I went in to pick up him up I witnessed a girl,I think her name was Carla or Carly, dragging the dog across the floor. The dog was resisting so she kicked it in the rear to get it moving. DO NOT SEND YOUR SENIOR DOGS HERE!!! My yellow lab who is 13 has stayed here a few times and she would come home and be out of it for 2 days; no drinking, eating, being active like normal. My dog is on 3 medications that help her with her joints and overall health. With that being said we left her at Pet Suites for Mother's Day weekend and she went in perfectly fine and feeling like herself then 3 days later we come to get her and she could barley get out of the facility. Her back legs were giving out so bad and she hasn't been this way is MONTHS! Then spends THREE DAYS in their care and she declined drastically. We sent our dog with medication and they did not give it to her! They said they did but I'm under the impression that someone is LYING. You can't tell me that my dog goes from being VERY MOBILE on her own to not being mobile at all in THREE DAYS!!! Make it make sense please!!! read more

So, I'm really sad I placed my dog here. We went to Chicago over the weekend and decided to board our 6 year old small dog here. It was our first boarding and will be our last. I've boarded my dog before and he's always come home well...normal. This time though.... I knew something was weird when they didn't give me back any food. I gave twice the amount of food he would normally eat in 3 days and they didn't give me back any. They said he ate it all. My dog, in the past 6 years of his life has never eaten 2 cups of food a day. However, no biggie, I assumed they stashed it away for themselves. After all I used to work in the animal Care world, I know what goes on. Anyways, after I bought my little guy home, he was acting so fearful. He would flinch when we went near him. He did not eat for 5 days. He hid in his kennel for a week. A dog who loved to go for walks was now refusing to even look at his leash....it was my worse fear. I was a vet tech for so many years...and I knew the signs ....my dog had been abused. I immediately started training, hoping I could reverse the damage. He's better now. Thank God. But it took months. Please DO NOT board your dog here. I'm sure not all the staff members are bad, but someone is. Ive read other reviews about dogs sounding like they were abused while they were here. I guess management is turning a blind eye, but your employee is losing you customers. Google reviews were great, Yelp has provided more of an insight. An insight I wish I had known from the start. I'm honestly afraid to ever board my dog again. read more

Took my pup for grooming and a little bit of some playtime afterwards and /or before. I'm really not sure when and if he had playtime. I inquired but the girls didn't seem to know. I also wanted to watch him in action with the other dogs since this was his first play date but the girl said that wasn't allowed. So there you go. If only he could speak to let me know how his day was. But anyway he seemed happy when I picked him up. He was definitely cut way shorter than I was hoping but he definitely had ALOT of matting so it's all good. He had to be blended for sure. I told the girl to so whatever she had to because he was very matted. But he looks good and was very happy when I picked him up. I do have to say when I got there they told me My appointment was canceled the day before. The only thing I did the day before was called to make sure that they had my vet information from Florida. I never canceled the appointment I actually confirmed it. But it ended up fine. The groomer made time for him and it all worked out. We will be back for our first overnight stay while we go back home for Christmas. I know he will be in good hands. They even have adorable suites for the pups with beds and TVs!!! The place is really clean and gorgeous and they do seem to really care about the animals. I was impressed. read more

I called ahead to set up daycare time for my 2 puppies who are almost 8 months old. Because they are a mixed breed - Olde English Bulldog and Chocolate Lab mix - they don't get group play time, only 1:1 time with a staff member and it was explained that any dog breed with the word bull in it must be kept separated; may I also note that chihuahuas and poodles are more vicious than either breed in my mix. My whole purpose behind taking them was for the great reviews about play time and socialization. Nobody stated this on the phone when I called ahead, otherwise, I wouldn't have wasted time in taking my dogs to them - but, because we had already driven out there and the vet daycare was canceled for the day, I had no choice but to leave them for the day. So disappointed for a first time visit - simply because this place came highly rated and numerous clients have encouraged me to take mine there. read more

They basically are caged 95% of the time with employees so unfriendly that I saw not only my puppy not happy as "she" was dragged to the back, but also, 2 others that were dropped off. Awful! I had thee worst dog boarding experience ever. I called and requested one day of dog boarding in a townhouse suite, an extra potty break (considering after 5:30 pm your dog is NOT taken out again to use the restroom). I was also told they can go right there in their suite . I also requested grooming service upon pick up. I rushed from out of town and found my dog was placed in a medium cage, no extra potty break, and NO grooming service done. Since they messed up if I wanted grooming service I had to PAY for an extra stay to wait for his turn to be groomed. If I could give NEGATIVE star rating I would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PUP here! I took my 1yr old dog to spend the day at their day camp and 1 week later he came down with an awful puppy parasite, tested positive for giardia. Nonstop diarrhea and vomiting for hours. Will not be going back. Update: after writing this comment, the manager reached out to me and was extremely helpful. She contacted my vet to become more knowledgeable about this parasite and wanted to learn how to prevent it from happening again in the future. They also reimbursed my dog's vet bills (I received the check yesterday). My dog is feeling much better, and I would bring him back to PetSuites when he gets a little older (around 2 years old). read more

I was in need of a daycare that was open on weekends; I have a Blue Heeler who has entirely too much energy to stay crated for the time I would be out of the home. She is in daycare Monday through Friday at another location with ZERO issues. I dropped her off and the staff seemed to know very little about various dog breeds or how to interact with heelers. I toured the facility and the outdoor play area was full of poop, I mean FULL. the staff said it was because it was raining. Um, no. When a dog poops at the other daycare I use it is cleaned immediately. I looked at the indoor play area and there were several dogs so I felt I could leave her to play. When I came back to pick her up, she was in the indoor play area but separated. Not one reason was given to me as to why she was separated except she was "shy." I'm going to try one more time, but I'm still skeptical. read more

Spoke to someone on the phone who walked me through sign up steps for daycare program for our puppy. Signed up and confirmed my appointment. About 12 hours before our puppy's appointment, I receive a text informing us that along with her vaccination records which were mentioned, she needed a negative fecal test to stay there. This wasn't mentioned on the website or over the phoneS Because she's never had any issues, we've never done a screen, and of course our vet is unable to do this overnight for us. We had to cancel our reservation and now have to find alternate care with almost no warning. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

My doggie's first day away from home was spent here. My family and I were going on a quick trip to an amusement park and we wanted our dog to go to a place where he could play & have fun while we were away. I paid for him to have two different two hour play times (with other dogs) while we were gone. After I left, they "assessed" my dog and said he was shy (very strange--he goes to dog parks all the time and never acts shy around anyone or dog) and they didn't feel comfortable letting him play with the other dogs because they didn't want to overwhelm him. So instead of having play time with dogs, he had one on one play time with an employee who played fetch with him. The employees were very nice and explaining everything that went on while we were gone. I believe they even gave me some type of card with his assessment on it when I came to pick him up. I will take him back. Hopefully this time he will be able to play with other dogs. read more

My 2 dogs Daisy and Gaby have stayed at the Gahanna location previously and the service was good on that stay. This last time was a different story and we will go elsewhere next time. About a week into their stay, my daughter went to visit them and noticed that Gaby had a bunch of dried up poop caked on her butt. My wife called them about it and asked them to clean it off. They called back the next day and said that they could do a sani trim because it had matted really badly. After we picked them up, my wife had to go back and pick up Daisy's meds as they were not returned to us at pickup. On top of that, the bill had @ $100 for a bath for the 2 of them. Maybe that was for the sani trim, who knows. For a 100 bucks, you would think that they wouldn't be matted as badly as Gaby was. Our normal groomer had to cut her coat really short to get the mats out. read more

Although the representative who spoke with me seemed to understand I'd be wary to try their grooming services again, she led me to believe that there are definitely those who work for this company that care about their clientele and the canines in their care. In the future, should I need a day of doggy daycare for the pooch, I may be willing to give this place a shot. I feel that the time that was taken to get in touch with me and care taken to make amends speaks well for this business. read more

Great place for day care or extended stay for your dog or cat(s). My 4 - legged labbe's favorite place. She is 62 pounds and we usually get a medium suite. The suite includes bedding, daily treats and daily feeding with complimentary Iams. (If u don't use or want Iams you have to bring your own special yummies) I usually add the extra package to get her a total of 3 potty breaks, a frozen dog treat or filled peanut butter kong and a 2 hour play time. When my dog gets home she is exhausted from the swimming and play time she gets daily. We joke at home that she is always looking to go and have her 2 hour play time. read more

This location started off good-ok. Husband and I have had a couple experiences that left us scratching our heads at times. Staff is super friendly with the exception of one associate who was short with customers in the morning when dropping off their pets and even down right rude to the dogs because their were excited. We mentioned it to the manager, they said they would handle; never had another issue. This summer we had our dog boarded several times and upon her return she had colitis each time which costed us in vet bills. Ironically enough we had several friends board their dogs one weekend at the same time and they had the same result. One owner called them about it and this location worked with them on vet bills. We decided to pull our dog and go else where and we called and relayed this and stated why. They didn't seem to care. Also, owners note that if your dog breed has the word "bull" in it - they can't play with other dogs. Not Pitbulls, bulldogs, bull mastiff etc.... nope. But it's cool, all other dog daycares allow after a proper assessment. Would be open to go back, but not this location. read more
