    Maggie

First time using Lucky Bones for boarding. Staff is friendly very helpful. Facebook page they posted pictures everyday and videos. That was a great idea so we could check to see if Maggie was interacting, playing, or just resting. Loved the pictures! She must have played hard because she slept for 1 whole day. Loved the report card of how she did, eating, playing, with the staff, ane who she played with or here friends. This is great to see she had a wonderful week. Thank you for loving Maggie Sonya

I asked them to feed Maddy as well at lunchtime. When I picked Maddy up she looked very happy and satisfied. I was also surprised she ate her lunch because often time she does not like to eat when she is so excited. They said she played very well with others and had a great time. They also allowed the first day to be free of charge for new customers. My only criticism is that they might want to wash down the front entrance doors and sidewalks. The first impression is that things might be grimy inside. Luckily, I could see things were clean inside. I liked the small retail space they had for toys and other items for dogs and cats. I will take Maddy back again because she seemed to enjoy it.

I asked if she was bathed and the girl at the front desk said not yet and it would be an hour until the groomer could get to us that Monday on pick up. My baby had a few chiggers in her skin that she had to have that whole time she was there. I was pretty disappointed. I was confident they were going to bath her and check her since she had been playing in the tall grass. Maybe there was a miscommunication in the line. I did get to view her on my phone and do check ups daily but they turn the cameras off at night.

This is the third dog we have taken to this vet and have cared for by them- with no other previous issues with any of them. But during one of the most devastating moments of our lives -- saying goodbye to our dog due to reasons beyond our control -- the vet, Mark Harris, showed zero compassion, empathy, or basic human decency. Their tone, their attitude, and their complete lack of sensitivity were unbelievably disrespectful, especially considering we were struggling through an emotional and painful decision when we were completely out of options. He dismissed our problem when we needed help the most. To make matters even worse, this same clinic had previously prescribed the wrong medication at the wrong dosage, which ended up worsening my dog's condition. That mistake alone is unacceptable, but the cold treatment we received during a decision for euthanasia made the whole experience traumatic in a way I'll never forget. There was no comfort, no patience, no kindness -- just dismissive behavior from this vet at the exact moment when families need compassion the most. I would never recommend this place to anyone who loves their pet and expects professional, caring medical treatment. Our pets deserve better. So do their families. This is the lowest place you can be with your pet and we were abandoned by professionals you thought you could trust and rely on for help.

I'll be brief. I recently lost my beloved 6 year old cat at MedVet after his 4 day stay there…read more That loss was very difficult and painful enough, but the over $12,000.00 vet bill for his care and stay made his death much, much worse due to the sad simple fact that MedVet does not offer either any kind of a bereavement discount if your pet dies in their care or any kind of a discount to seniors living on a limited income. Those types of compassionate discounts are something that they very seriously need to think about offering. I think it would seriously help with their ratings (and their ratings could frankly use some help). I honestly do trust that they did everything possible to save my cats life and they all appeared very professional, very caring, compassionate and concerned. However, their billing policies shows very clearly that their final bottom line is that they are very much a "for-profit business" and you should have no illusions about that if you take your pet there for help. The first thing they ask about after getting your name and your pets name and why you are there, is your credit card information. One final thought......please carefully look over their other reviews here (I sincerely wish I had before I took my poor cat there) and then think about what you have read in these reviews a bit and then honestly ask yourself: "Why are so, so many of their reviews only one star?" (PHOTOS ATTACHED)…read more Want to start this with saying I don't frequent this location so I don't know what they're like on a day to day basis. But, I keep fish, and the lack of basic care led me to write this review. When I went in today I took a look at their fish wall, specifically the snail section (which they are almost always out of snails and shrimp) where I saw multiple deceased snails. It was also evident that they had been left there for a while with the few other live snails since none of the soft body was left, just the shell. Which is first of all gross and secondly can be dangerous for the other snails alive in the tank. (Side note: I purchased snails from here in 2025, firstly the worker did not honor my request for larger snails only, but all three of the snails I bought were sick, and in questionable condition. Nonetheless, all three did survive) Additionally, when I looked at their comet goldfish tank (this is the goldfish tank with lots of juvenile goldfish) there were also multiple deceased fish at the bottom that the other fish were eating. These dead fish had been eaten down to the bone so they were not very obvious but that still not ideal at all seeing as you could tell they were in there for a while (I visited the store around 2:00PM at this point they'd been open for 4 hrs). The goldfish tanks also had a very strong, noticeable odor that tells me they haven't been cleaned recently. Last thing for the fish, their betta fish were actually in seemingly good condition. I didn't stay to look for that long because it's in an awkward spot right in front of the door and cash register (it's to prevent shoplifting, and so they're front and center). The cup display is well lit and only some of the cups had cloudy water. But if this display were in the back of the store I'm sure it would have been in much worse condition based on the other tanks on the wall. The customer service was nothing noteworthy. The cashier just seemed like she wanted to finish the transaction as fast as possible, which is fine even though there wasn't anyone in line behind me. Overall, this specific location was 2 stars mostly becuase the store was very clean, and they did have most of their items in stock. The main concern is the quality of life their animals have before finding their forever home. I personally would think twice though before purchasing any animal from here as I know they have had issues with animal (mostly aquatic) sickness in the past. (PHOTOS ATTACHED)

My one dog is dead and I have in past always been happy with how they treat her. No more! I was shocked when I went to pick her up to find a $20 fee added on for two things never mentioned. I took my own shampoo as always as my dog has allergies. I was this time told AFTER the fact there was a $10 fee for this. Also, I was charged $10 because she allegedly kept escaping - something. Which has never happened before. The fact they couldn't control her on the table was dangerous to her and alarming. No ie. Has had a problem like this before with her which makes me question the ability and experience and groomers. I will never take her there again. Her safety means more than anything and they obviously don't care.

Visiting my family from nyc, took my little sisters into petland just for fun and fell in love with the MOST beautiful black and tan Shiba Inu , which so happens to be one of my favorite dogs and it has been difficult to find a breeder. Knowing what I already knew about pet stores, I knew it would be overpriced and I knew it was a big risk but I figured ... at least im saving him from the pet store. Want to give a HUGE shout out to the ladies in the store that truly went above and beyond for helping me on this journey. Ciara, Laila, and Sarah were such a great team and worked very well together to make the experience better than I would've expected. Only big tip I have is to prob try to go without the starter kit. It comes with a crate and a shit ton of vitamins, some food and sprays for training even their own vet they use have stated the vitamins arent even that necessary. They say its " included " in the price but once you're cashing out the numbers start going all over the place. At this point though, I was far too invested in my connection with the puppy that I was willing to pay for whatever ( fyi the pup was about 5,600 , I put 2,500 down and financed the rest at a very high interest rate, only for the fact that I knew I will be paying it off early anyway ) was it the smartest financial decision to finance an overpriced puppy? Probably not. But the staff does a very good job actually under the circumstances and the puppies pretty much sell themselves. Once you lock in and fall in love with one of these babies , no going back. My little man is microchipped and has a lifetime warranty ( also you have to keep up with buying their shit every 3 months to stay on that warranty btw ) Lots of pros and cons to purchasing a puppy this way. Overall, thank you to the ladies for bringing and welcoming my son into my life, I picked a WINNER !! Follow my baby on insta @hennypacksheat
