Casa Nativo was hands down my favourite restaurant in Vieques!! As many of the other reviews confirm and affirm - they have THE best piña coladas in Vieques, and to add to that, they have amazing service and delectable food. Everything that we ordered we loved!! I started with the Ceviche de Camarones and for my main I had the infamous Chuleta Kan Kan All of which were seasoned to perfection.

We shared 4 appetizers and the food was incredible. Also one of the best mojitos I've ever had. 10/10 recommend.

One of the best meals on vacation in Puerto Rico! Cute little restaurant in down town vieques! Upon entering a local chatted with me letting me know this is one of the only restaurants she will eat at on the island as it's authentic. She recommended I try a garlic sauce on my trifongo which was delicious! I also tried the coconut bits yum! The queso frito which was insanely yummy it was gooey cheese with a sweet jam under it a perfect pairing! The pricing was very affordable in comparison to other restaurants around and there was a limited number of free parking spots in front of the restaurant. Great service too! I'll be dreaming of the queso frito until my next return to vieques!

I am emotionallll. As a Puerto Rican who has not been here since I was four years old, this was my first full meal here in Vieques and I was over the moon. The chicken and steak tostones dipped in the sauce it comes with were a great start, as well as the Yuca and Cheese balls, but what really just hit me in the soul was the arroz mampostedo. It tasted just like mi abuelita used to make it and I was brought back in time. The servers were cool and the ambiance was relaxed. If you're looking for some true authentic Puerto Rican food, this is a great spot and I highly recommend!

Terrible service. We walked in and stood for 5 minutes while a young employee just stared at us. I finally asked her if they were open to get a response. She said yes and sit anywhere. We waited 20 minutes before receiving our drinks. Young man who was polite did bring our drinks. We ended walking out. Terrible Would not recommend. Bad attitudes.

Pretty good dinner option for the sleepy island of Vieques. Get there early. We arrived around 7:30 and by 8:30 they were encouraging people to not stay and order dinner because it would take too long to get food. We saw them purposely deter 2 different groups for no reason other than it was already 8:30 and food would take a while. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. Rum punch was good if not overly strong. Their take on fried cheese was a great app to pair with the drinks, as was the chicken empanada. Main course was breaded shrimp with tostones which was also good, although the tostones could have used salt and there was none to be found. Overall a nice visit for dinner. We especially appreciated the few outdoor tables and people watching.

This restaurant came highly recommended to me by two locals so I came here for dinner on my first night in Vieques. It is a rather small restaurant inside with a slightly larger partially covered outdoor patio in front. When I arrived they were very strict about checking my covid vaccination card. About two parking spots are available in front of the restaurant. Other than that it's street parking wherever you can find it. For some reason that night I decided to order a whole fish for dinner which is something I never do. I guess the island vibe was getting to me so I went with the Pescado Frito with a side dish of rice and beans for $28. The meal took about 25 minutes to arrive. I liked it but didn't love it. To be fair, this isn't my favorite way to consume fish and I debated as to whether to even write a review of my meal for that reason. I would have preferred to order a different entree but time didn't allow me to return to this restaurant. So I give a 3 for my meal but wouldn't be surprised if this is really a 4 eatery.

Originally, my family and I wanted to go to Bieke's Bistro next door, but they were out of most of their seafood, so we decided to go here. The staff weren't the friendliest and not very attentive either. However, the food arrived in a decent manner of time. Overall, I would recommend Bieke's Bistro over this place because the staff are nicer and the menu has the same dishes with more variety and higher quality. The Fried Cheese Balls with Guava Sauce was the best thing of our meal, it was so good! The balls were super crispy on the outside and ooey gooey on the inside. The guava sauce provides a slight sweetness making the balance between sweet and salty a match made in heaven.

Owner has a NASTY attitude! If I could give it 0 stars I would! Worst restaurant, got appetizer, shrimp was uncooked, and flavorless, food takes too long after almost an hour waiting on main dish we asked the waitress how much longer and Owner comes out a few minutes later, basically throws a drink at our table and yells "it's free, don't worry your order has been cancel since it's taking too long, you can f*cking leave my restaurant now" so we get up to leave without saying anything then he starts yelling "I'm going to call the cops if you don't f*cking leave my restaurant " So I told him "call them so I can tell them how you rude you are being and we are not even on your property" He has a lot of negative reviews about his attitude! I'm not sure why Yelp doesn't show them but see for yourself. Avoid yourself the WORST experience and don't come here!!! If he treats paying customers like this, I can't imagine his workers! PS: I got food poisoning from the uncooked shrimp and now

We chose a sunset seating and the pictures are unreal. one of the most beautiful restaurant views because the water is right there- if you sit on the lower patio you might get sprayed a little! I asked for a creamy espresso martini and the bartender got it perfect- I ordered two! The other cocktails were good as well. The hot crab dip was amazing! I loved that the pumpkin pasts wasn't overwhelmingly pumpkin- it was just perfectly balanced. All of the vegetables and sauces on the Buddha's feast were delicious, but since it was just vegetables, I wish there had been more volume because event after sharing an app I was still hungry. We got the rum cake for desert, and we LOVE rum cake. However, if you had told me this was just chocolate cake, I would have believed it. It needed much more rum/syrup! Still a great meal in a fantastic setting, and we will be going back!

The food. MEH. I love carpaccio but this was underwhelming and didn't have enough acidity to balance the plate. I ordered the lobster pasta. Wow -what a disappointment. The lobster was over cooked and chewy. The sauce (bisque) was flavorless and needed salt and a bit of heavy cream badly. The pasta was way past al dente. Had to ask for bread- was told "had to see if they had enough for a side of bread." Ran out of risotto for a 730 pm reservation. Offered two specials but I had to ask the price. (Pet peeve--tell me the special price). And then the server wasn't sure and had to go ask. Go only for the location and view --not the food. The mocktails were both delicious. Points for having a mocktail list!

Love-Love-Love this place!…read more I was geeked to go here because for one I was on vacation on a beautiful island with my beautiful woman and two they were right down the street from where we were staying. Upon entering you are welcomed by a set of stairs that lead you to an open floor plan that is decorated simple yet somewhat of a beach theme. There wasn't any employees anywhere to be seen except the patrons enjoying themselves so we were somewhat confused on what to do so we walked over to the register and were greeted by a gentleman from the back. He said we could sit anywhere we'd like and he'd come and explain how things work. He explained to us that they use a wristband and the taps have a sensor and we scan our wristband and it measures how much we get each time and we are billed by the ounces we pour; what a great concept. We enjoyed many of their beers, each one just as great as the last. My personal favorite was the peanut butter porter, delish! The ordering for the food is by QR code which I hate, but it is what it is. I feel like if you're paying for food and giving a tip you should at least bare minimum have someone taking your order and tending to your needs. We ordered: Fish tacos 5/5 Croquettes 5/5 The one employee who was working was kind and courteous and great, so we left him a nice tip on our beer and food, which were separate bills. We will see you again the next time we are on the island. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks again :)

The waiter said he did not know the price and would have to place the order to find out. He then said he would give us a few minutes to decide. When he returned he was all worked up, and told us that we were "in the wrong restaurant" and that if we found the wine or food too expensive, this was not the place for us. We had not commented on pricing--only asked standard questions. He then said he would not serve us. A different server took over and was professional and helpful. We ended up ordering a bottle of red wine, croquetas, and several tapas. Unfortunately, the initial interaction significantly affected the experience.
