By the end of my first conversation with Ram, he had emailed a precise bid. First day he sent a strong young man to remove dead landscaping from the front and side yard. He filled 25 large contractor bags and 2 pick-up truck beds. The next day to workers arrived on time (7:30 AM with their tools, food, and drinks) and after confirming design, began to dig and set concrete pillars. They then framed the exterior. No wasted movements, as they knew exactly what they were doing. Very friendly. Ram arrived the next day to cut the boards. The first technical part. Day four involved sanding/planing each board, which I then sealed, with Ram's assistance. All lumber was laid on the deck frame in the correct order, and left to dry overnight. The next day, Ram arrived to secure all boards. He made the job look easy and I know it wasn't. Overall, Kanah Konstruction finish the job two days earlier than promised, within budget, and very little waste. My experience working with Ram and Kanah Konstruction turned out to be the highlight of my visit! My daughter was surprised and thrilled.

Scott and his helper were nice enough and polite but unbelievably slow. It took six and a half hours at $262 an hour, totaling $1838 to move a one bedroom apartment from Wailuku to Kihie. Alan from Smooth Move referred Scott to me when he wasn't available on my moving dates. Alan had moved me five years earlier, same exact furniture and Smooth Move did it in half the time. I wish I hadn't used Little Red Wagon for my move. I feel taken advantage of being a senior citizen and woman.
