THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. They also do business as NOLA Appliance Repair. Here is my review from that…read morelisting: I wish we had read the reviews. We stupidly paid up front for a dishwasher repair, and they said they were "going to pick up a part" and would be back the next day, that was over a week ago. We've been calling and leaving messages, but no response. If they needed more time, all that was expected is a simple, two- second response of "waiting on a part" or ANYTHING, literally ANY response would have been reasonable. I have a business and if I ran it this way I would be OUT of business. Reading similar, repeated reviews from the last several years I cannot understand how this business has survived as long as it has. If I could call every potential client of these guys personally and warn them off, I would. This is the first review I have ever written, and that should speak volumes. Running off with people's money is theft. The plan is to call both the police and the better business bureau about these guys. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you DON'T use them. Call literally ANYONE else. Also, please read their responses to critical reviews on Google where they call one of their clients a "crackhead". What kind of business does that? Every one of their responses to their horrible reviews reads as if the clients are somehow irrational for expecting the bare minimum of normal service, communication or competence. Look, we have all come across bad businesses before, but this is the first time I have ever been moved to write a review like this, to try and protect other people if nothing else. As an update to this: we just called in another service company and they fixed the dishwasher in 5 minutes. It did NOT need any parts at all. NOLA Appliance Repair is simply a scam. Luckily, we have a network of attorneys that we support, and we have sympathetic ears at City Hall, so we are working both to get our money back and have the owner - Zach Frigo - brought up on fraud charges.

I can assure you Zack and his company have never provided service greater than 1 star. He came to…read moremy house to repair my stove, "diagnosed" and provided an estimate. He requested a deposit for parts, which was provided. After that he disappeared and would not answer phone calls or emails for 4 weeks, then on a friday he showed up at my door unannounced to install the parts and finish the repair. In less than 10 minutes he broke a piece and left with everything. For the past 4 weeks he has not answered phone calls, text messages or emails. I have called the police to file charges for theft as he stole the deposit I provided.

Do not deal with these people…read more I called this company to fix my oven, and they completely misdiagnosed the issue. They claimed the heating element needed to be replaced, charged me $100 for the diagnosis, then another $250 to install a new element. After spending $350, my oven still didn't work. When they came back out, they suddenly decided the real issue was the motherboard--something they failed to check the first time. Now they want another $300 to fix their own mistake! When I asked for a refund for their incorrect diagnosis, I was met with extreme rudeness, especially from an employee named Page, who was not only unprofessional but outright dishonest about the situation. This company refuses to take responsibility for their own errors, and their lazy, careless approach to diagnosing appliances is completely unacceptable. They should have properly assessed the issue from the start instead of making assumptions and wasting my time and money. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to go elsewhere--you'll save yourself a lot of frustration and unnecessary expenses.

This was an absolute nightmare of a service visit. I called them in to diagnose a Bosch dishwasher…read morethat will randomly stop its wash cycle and report the cycle clean, despite having standing water in the basin. We seemed to be able to fix the problem by rolling the dishwasher out and jiggling the drain in the back--but this was getting tiring so I decided to try to get someone out to fix it. The technician roughly pulled it from the wall, opened it while the cycle was running, and began looking around inside. He was unable to diagnose the problem, but after his expert service, the seals at the bottom of the door were totally shot, causing the dishwasher to gush water onto the floor. The technician and the service dispatcher said this was obviously MY fault, for having an old dishwasher. The fact that the thing has never leaked before was chalked up to a coincidence. "Seals get old," I was patronizingly informed, as if seals naturally "get old" in 10 minutes after someone yanks your dishwasher out and pops the door open while the cycle is running. Destroying my dishwasher cost me $115. The technician was clueless (none of his explanations for the problem I actually called them about made sense or was consistent with the symptoms I was describing) and the dispatcher couldn't care less that I was dissatisfied or that they'd destroyed my dishwasher. She wanted that $115. Ok, she got it. But I would never consult this business again and I urge ANYONE to use ANYONE ELSE. You will end up worse that you started, and $115 poorer. This company's attempt at service was an abysmal failure.
