I requested an in home consultation and John Gary visited my home for an estimate. John did a good job of explaining my options, prices, process etc. I live in a townhouse community which has an HOA to work with, the team at Window world handled the paperwork and documents needed for approval. The order was placed and the windows and patio door were delivered earlier than expected. An install appointment was scheduled. The install went smooth, I will say the installers worked until 8:30 in the evening. I believe they may have under estimated the amount of time needed for the install. I would definitely recommend they arrive earlier moving forward. I was disappointed as screens came in damaged but were quickly fixed a few days later. There was a bit of a mess left outside as it was dark out when completed and I know the installers couldn't see the debris that was left outside. I was also disappointed to see that the windows were left with grime, caulk etc which needed to be cleaned afterwards. I was also not satisfied with the walk thru of the features of the windows, I did not know that the sliding window could actually be easily removed to clean them. All in all it was a good experience, the price was far less than Anderson and Pella. The warranty offered is very good. I am confident I made a good decision.

I used Prowns about 15 years ago to have vertical blinds installed in my house and they did an…read moreoutstanding job from beginning to end. I now needed a new front screen door and after doing my research there are many contractors that will install a new front door or screen door that they usually purchase from Home Depot which sells the cheapest screen or front doors available and then they install it. I decided to give Prowns a call and find out if they installed screen doors which they do. This is a family business that still takes pride in their work and stands behind their work as well so I thought I'd give them a try again. They gave me a quote which was reasonable and in line with the other contractors that had also given me a quote so I decided to use them again. Also the company that manufactured the door is known for their high quality work didn't disappoint as their screen door is very well made and rock solid. Along the way the original company that gave Prowns the quote had changed their line of screen doors and the new door was more expensive but Prowns being a reputable company honored their original quote and didn't charge me a penny more, how many companies would do that! In any case the door was custom made (all their doors are custom designed to fit your exact door opening) and it fit perfectly and looks great and they showed up exactly when they said they would and did the install. A couple of days later I noticed that the door didn't close as it should, meaning that the door didn't close far enough for the bolt to close to the point where it should have been inside the door frame to secure it in place. I called them up and described the problem and they made an appointment for their tech to come back and fix the problem. They came back and adjusted the problem but within a day the problem has returned. I called them again and told them the problem wasn't quite fixed and they told me a tech would be back this afternoon, hopefully they'll be able to fix the root of the problem. Unfortunately these kind of issues happen when installing new materials in older homes or during the summer when building materials tend to expand and contract because of the temperature extremes that happen on a daily basis. My be point is that when you do business with a reputable company they'll come back and fix the problem until it's resolved whereas if you're lucky a freelance contractor might come back once or not at all. Prowns is servicing the issue with the problem concerning the door they sold me and that's old fashioned quality and honesty that is indeed rare especially in the field of home contracting. If you need any work concerning doors or windows or window treatments these are people that you want to do business with, which is probably why they've been in business about 75 years or more and anyone who's ever read my reviews knows that I'll give my fellow consumers the straight dope when it comes to a service because I don't like being taken advantage of and I don't want it to happen to anyone else.

I was impressed on how their whole crew seamlessly worked together to get the job done quickly in 90 degree heat and they did a great job cleaning up. I didn't see one of their crew on their phone or even take a break. They worked non-stop replacing 16 windows in less than 7 hours. My windows look and work great, we were impressed with the shu molding around all the windows to complete the look. Billy even offered to come back anytime to show me how to work the "tilt" part of the windows for cleaning purposes. I 100% recommend Prown's.

They are a family business with a showroom just off from Rt 35. I couldn't get to it so I was even given a free ride to go and see for myself what the products look like from Doug the salesman. On the day of installation, I met his wife Michele who is the Showroom Manager. Then there's Mindy who is on top of contacting me and making sure there is communication and then Rob and his team of two other installers. The whole bunch had a great sense of humor, and really enjoyed their jobs! They came on time and offered professional service but still maintaining a great easy-going vibe. The installers were extremely efficient and had window replacement to a science! They cleaned up after themselves and didn't make a mess! Rob has 32 years of windows installation experience and it shows. The guys were down to earth and humble too! They packed all the equipment into the truck neatly! It is one of the neatest and cleanest work trucks I have ever seen! I spied a cooler in their truck! If you get Doug as your salesman, ask him to show you one of his best assets, a cap that his wife bought him. It is a very familiar red and I thought could it be? Then Doug turns around and his cap reads "Make Windows Great Again!" That was too precious! I told him he could offer those for sale too! After installation, I had some issues with the mechanics of the windows and Michele was on it ASAP and dispatched Doug out to see what the issues were. Great customer service! The windows I got are Polaris and made in Ohio! They also install exterior doors and storm doors from ProVia. If your budget will allow you to, get the triple paned glass! No high pressure sales tactics and a straight forward guy. His windows were of the highest quality and his price came in below the other two companies I had out. So happy I chose them. Mindy the office manager was incredibly thorough in setting up installation and following up. Eric and his team were exceptional. When they were finished you would never have known my home just had two days of major renovations. So clean so efficient and so meticulous.
