Maybe its my fault for staying quiet and sitting through the service i got, but in the end it still isn't right that my fingers hurt SO bad, had cuts around the nails that bled and were SO sore after getting acrylics. For me, the pain lasted roughly 3-4 days. With my experience and with what i am now realizing about this salon, i must say: Clients beware of poor business practices. Not only by the fact that the many photos of great quality work, posted by the shop themselves, are stolen images(couldnt even hide the watermarks), but also by the unprofessional salon techniques and services they perform. This nail salon is trying to draw in clientele buy falsely advertising quality work. On top of that, they try to play the right tones in response to negative reviews, only to not actually fix the problems they claim they will. Those problems being extremely poor quality work, and unsafe technique and salon practices. Ask yourself if you don't have your own proof of quality work. Then can you really PROVIDE quality work?? read more

I went in for a fill, the lady kept hurting my fingers with the drill and just laughing it off. She would pour alcohol on my fingers making them burn even more and then would clean them with a dirty towel she was using to clean. The work station was not clean, I don't know how they can allow that. After seeing what a terrible job she did with the polish I said something and she tried to grab my hand and say I wouldn't let her finish. I was too anxious at that point to let her touch my hands after all the pain. My fingers are sensitive to the touch. A manager came and removed the polish and offered to fix them but I couldn't take anything else being done to hands. I asked to file a complaint with the owner and they refused. I left and called to speak with the owner and they refused and hung up on me. This place needs to be looked into by the health department! read more

This was about a year ago but I'll still share. This was the first salon I went to here after moving to yuma. I was not pleased. I asked for a regular gel manicure. First the lady wouldn't shape my nails how I asked (squared). Said my nails Were too short and they weren't. Said i cut my nails horribly when just one of them broke and it was short but it broke so what do you want me to do? She didnt even paint my whole nail, the sides were left blank. Also one of the employees had a young child there screaming in my face and she thought it was funny. Charged me $25 for a bad job. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. I've been on a road trip for the past 3 weeks and I asked for a regular manicure and they were about to let me walk out like this after my cuticles did not even look like this coming in. The man cut into my actual skin and didn't even push back or cut my cuticles correctly. After I told the man I did not want him to continue, the owner came and was rushing and left my cuticles a little better but because she was rushing she cut me. Not only did they take up more than the double amount of time it takes to do a simple manicure, they were not willing to accommodate for the customer. Instead they put up a fight when the owner knew her worked messed up my cuticles in the first place. I was better off not getting them done. Absolutely do not recommend. read more

Where do I start My nails started lifting 2 days later,she didn't paint them completely, she chose color for me,, she cut me 2x and kept laughing about it, My pedicure was not the best but not the worst. My sister and I drove all the way from SD to get our nails/pedi done. I wasn't thrilled the day of but I didn't want to argue. I got a full set and a pedicure. I asked 4 times for the gel polish on my toes and each time he said ok but didn't do it. They ended up nor charging me the extra $10 so I let it go. The lady that did my nails didn't do a great job. She didn't paint them well on the sides or all the way to the cuticle so 6 days later, I look like I already need a fill. On top of that, one nail already popped off and two more are ready too. She didnt even taken the time to secure them well. All that trouble and it didn't even last a week. I'm sooo disappointed and can wait for the nail shops in SD to open again. read more

It took thirty minutes to be noticed by anyone and another fifteen to even start soaking my toes. It sad to have had such a bad experience waiting for so long in a semi empty nail salon when the work itself is at least three stars. I question how hygienic the supplies are after watching them pull it out of a basket with other items that looked worn down. The people were nice enough though but I would recommend that you go elsewhere and save this as a last option. The prices were pretty inexpensive for the basics so I guess give to get would apply. read more

Make sure you ask prices before they start working on you. I was charged $5 extra to remove gel polish off my toes, when getting a pedicure i thought removing the old polish is part of the deal. Lady insisted it was up on the wall (price list) but only nail removal price was listed. Sneaking fees is not right, never again!!! read more

I've been coming here for over two years now and always make an appointment with alice. She is the sweetest lady and always does an amazing job on my gel mani/pedi every time. I really appreciate all the covid 19 screening they do, from temperature checks to spaced seating, and plexiglass between you and the nail tech, and sanitizing. I do not recommend this place. The person who did my nails (Tony, I believe?) was filing my nails so hard against my finger that it cut my skin and made it bleed. He would clean around my cuticles so hard with his own nails that it again, made me bleed. He would pull and twist my fingers and made me very nervous. He was distracted and barely paid attention to my nails. And to top it all off, I showed 2 staff the nail design I wanted, they said they could do it and then after one hour and lots of pain, they still were not able to get it how I wanted. It was matte top coat with non-matte tips. Not the most intricate design. I gave up and settled for what was easier for Tony. Was charged $40 and left an $8 tip because I'd rather leave this review and ask for my refund here. It's the first place I have been to that this has happened at and I'm just sharing my experience. They will not have their business running for long if they keep lacking professionalism and competence regarding the service, how they treat their clients; not to mention if they don't improve so they meet the standard of cleanliness that a salon/spa should adhere to. Also felt very creeped out, the energy was not very inviting not pleasant. Oh and their website says they're closed due to covid but they remain open. The price list on the website is quite confusing and I feel they use this as an excuse to charge customers more than the service is worth. I've gotten way better nail service at their competitors but this place was recommended to me and thought I would give it a chance. I will absolutely never return and I do not recommend. read more

The basic pedicure is lacking basic pedicure essentials! The only thing included it this is the nail grooming. No heal scrubbing or anything. If you want that you have to upgrade to the next level pedicure which is more money. They also use a "cheese grader" which in many states is against state board laws. They also charge you $1 extra for the lining they put in the pedicure tub simply because they are too lazy to clean them. I am a licensed cosmetologist and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, there were only two other clients. A younger female tech assisted me, I was brought a cold bottle of water as soon as I sat down. Went with the $30 pedicure which is a step above the base pedi, everything was perfect. She asked if I was comfortable throughout the entire process (water temp, scrub, pressure of massage, etc). Overall one of the best pedicures I've had. I love in the PHX area but if I am in need of a pedicure next time in Yuma definitely coming here again! read more

I've been going to this place on and off for about 4 years. It seems things are going down hill lately. Today was the last time I will be giving them my money. I went in today for a mani/pedi because my nails are getting a little long. I have strong natural nails and asked for him to file them down a bit. He files my first nail and I asked him to take "just a little more length off" he says he can only cut them a little more. I made the mistake of saying ok. He pulls out his clippers and chopped it off. I was in shock and told him that I didn't want that much off. He then proceeds to tell me that since my nails are naturally long that it will grow back in a couple of weeks. I should have walked out then but, I didn't. I allowed him to chop the rest of them so they would be even. Then when he started "trimming" my cuticles, he took a chunk out of one finger then a huge chunk out of my thumb. He told me that I have dry skin (which I do) and thin skin and that's why I was bleeding so much. There have been times when I've gone to them and been happy. But, I'm tired of paying someone my hard earned money and not being happy! read more

RUDE nail tech! Had full set white tips. When he (short, sort of chunky, bald guy) thought he was finished (and had another customer sit right next to me waiting on my chair) I told him I had asked for something on the nails to "glitter" them up. ..such as rhinestones or something with zazzle as I was going to a wedding. He gave me a dirty look. As he finished one hand, I held it up and complimented him. I thought he didn't hear me as he didn't acknowledge my compliment so I repeated it. He gruffly replied, "I HEARD YOU! He was so "pissed" that he had to go an extra step! He was getting paid for it so I don't know what the problem was! Needless to say..he had been so rough in applying my nails that my hands ached all night long and I barely got any sleep! ( He ground them down so hard and pressed so hard I think he bruised them!) He didn't receive a tip and I'll NEVER go back again! By the way... the rhinestones all fell off within 8 hours or so! So much for the extra rudeness & money I paid for! read more
