The food is very good especially the pita bread The service was outstanding The ambiance is perfect for the occasion It's a bit pricey but overall, we enjoy our lamb gyros and shawarma pita. We like it alot. We also got rewarded with a tray of the famous baklava desserts. Very nice of the business owner. I would come back to try the other delicious items. Thanks guys!

This place is AMAZING!! My friend and I came here for dinner and it was amazing!!! We got the pot of mint tea, which is A LOT of tea. It's so good! We each had 2 cups and still had 2 full to go cups to take. We got the stuffed grape leaves for an appetizer, which were delicious. Then we each got a gyro platter. Our mouths dropped to the ground when the food came out. The amount of food on those plates is ridiculous!! I also recommend getting the baclava. We got out to go and the pistachio is so good! Flaky and full of pistachios and honey, yum!!

Pharaoh's Legacy (PL) is my kind of place. Nestled in one of Fayetteville's many shopping centers, this Mediterranean/Greek style restaurant is my favorite to visit when in town. I've had the opportunity to dine here twice. Each time, my experience was consistent; consistently good. Let's start with the service. Reservations are probably not needed, but why take a chance. So when calling to make reservations, their response time was professionally quick, kind and easy. Our group was large, so I was happy to see that they had our seating ready on arrival. To focus on my most recent visit, our waitress was bubbly, thorough, responsive and quick. She was happy to engage in conversation with several members of my party. I wish I could remember her name. Unfortunately, I can't. But she was sweet and I enjoyed her service, so thank you young lady with the cute make up. Although we didn't partake, they do offer a full service sit down bar. What we did partake in was the delicious cuisine. Several of us settled on the chicken kabob entree. So, if this is your first visit to PL or even your first to Mediterranean cuisine, you can't go wrong with the chicken kabob entree. Regarding all of the dishes, portions are plenty!! There's not much more that I can say that hasn't been said in other PL reviews. So on to my recommendation: * Recommendation Level - HIGH As always, enjoy the photos :)

My husband & I love the food, service, & atmosphere at this restaurant. The food is cooked to order therefore, it comes out hot & fresh. It's kind of far from where we live but the great tasting food is well worth the drive.

Mediterranean takeout in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I got you. Who could have though that you can find some of the most delicious falafels In Fayetteville, NC. These were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the out. Packed with so much flavor that my tongue had multiple foodgasms in the first bite. Presented on a bed of saffron rice that were beautifully cooked. Decorated with diced tomatoes, sliced red onions, crumbled feta and dusted with sumac. This platter was intense. Go try this! 4.8/5 light smoke!

My husband and I shared this platter. It was excellent! We loved it all!, and even had a box of leftovers to take with us. So happy we found this place as we traveled through NorthCarolina. Make sure you make reservations as it is very busy.

We got a to-go order and they told us 10 minutes, it was easily less than that, more like 5 minutes. While we were the it was rather slow and probably off-time so that may have contributed. Food: We both got the Lamb Gyro, it was good. The only negative was the pita bread was more like dried bread. It was dry and crumbly, it was not soft and airy like any other pita bread I have ever had before. We would defiantly try again as the fries were good and so was the gyro, just we were not a fan of the pita, and for two gyros both there that way. Dessert: We also go baklava for desert. We were both very excited about that as we both love baklava. However, it was a big disappointment: first, there was really no favor except that of oil. second, it was really oily. I think defiantly a fail on that perspective.

The kind of place that doesn't just feed you... it reminds you why food matters. I walked in skeptical. Daily special? Braised lamb? That's usually where things go sideways. Not here. The feta with warm pita was simple and spot on. The mozzarella and tomato salad--fresh, clean, done right. And that lamb... slow, tender, full of flavor in a way that tells you someone in the kitchen actually cares. I've sat at a lot of tables across the world, and this felt like being in someone's home--real food, made with pride. Add in genuinely friendly people and an easy, welcoming vibe, and you've got something special. This is food that nurtures everything that makes you..you. True soul food. You owe it to yourself go eat here.

You order at the counter & they bring your food to you. Chicken schwarma sandwich was just ok since we've had better versions of it. My appetizer sampler, which was my entree, was pathetically small & frankly embarrassing to call it an appetizer sampler. Appetizer samplers are usually a lot bigger so it could be shared by everyone at the table. Taste was fine but there were only 3 small pieces of cauliflower & 3 squid rings, 1 kibbah & a small scoop of baba ghannoush. I'm a small eater & even my family was afraid that I wouldn't have enough food.

At first glance,…read morenothing particularly stood out about the restaurant, but I believe in giving places a fair chance. When we arrived, my oldest son, who is seven years old and enjoys helping others, politely asked the staff if there was anything he could do to assist. Afterward, he went to find a table for our family. While I was helping our youngest child get situated, a young boy who appeared to be between 8 and 11 years old and was working behind the counter made the comment, "Can you hand this to him? He's like a runaway slave." The comment was completely unprovoked and deeply offensive. It immediately caused my wife to lose her appetite, and we chose to leave the restaurant without ordering. What was equally concerning was that the adults who appeared to be related to or supervising the child were nearby and offered no correction or response. My wife, shocked by what she had heard, asked for clarification, and the boy repeated the statement that our son was "like a runaway slave." Comments like this should not be dismissed as harmless. The fact that this remark came from someone working behind the counter, in front of customers, makes it even more troubling. It reflects attitudes and behaviors that are being learned and reinforced somewhere, and the lack of any correction from the adults present only added to our concern. I found the experience unacceptable and felt it was important to share. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend spending my hard-earned money at this establishment, nor would I encourage others to do so.
