    Grecian Gyro Delight
    Erin B.

First time eating here. I was craving a salad, and saw the good reviews here. I ordered pickup, and the young woman at the counter was friendly at pickup. They did not disappoint! I ordered the gyro salad, and my husband got the sandwich. The salad was HUGE! The veggies were fresh. The generous meat portion was super flavorful. My only complaint was that several pieces were a bit overcooked during the reheat, so those pieces were a little dry. Not really a big deal, though, as dipping them into the yummy tzatziki helped. The grilled pita bread was slightly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I wrote this review before my husband had tried his sandwich, but because it was the same ingredients as my salad, I don't imaging he'd be disappointed! I'd definitely return the next time we're in town!

    Dolmades

My 1st time at this eatery and it did not disappoint. We had the dolmades for an appetizer and they were delicious. I had a greek burger and the feta cheese was kicking. My friend had a gyro platter and the meat was oh so tender and seasoned to our liking. Both had fries and they were crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. The service is mostly counter so that is the reason I didn't give 5 stars. It is very attractive for a small area with comfy couches if you want to stay and sip coffee. Breakfast served all day.

Went there because of the reviews, definitely not that good, I got the gyro platter and an iced latte (iced latte was awesome) the gyro platters barely had anything accept a stack of lamb meat with no spices or topping and overcooked potato wedges. I'm sticking with Olea Mediterranean Kitchen, so far they're the best gyro's I've had in Fayetteville so far!

Chicken platter with cauliflower rice & greek style green beans
    Marie T.

I got some food to go and ate it in my car since I had my dog with me and everything was delicious. I had the spanakopita, the chicken platter with cauliflower rice and Greek style green beans, and a piece of baklava. I wasn't a fan of the green beans but that just comes down to personal taste. I'm sure plenty of people do like them. Next time I'll get it with salad or fries instead. The spanakopita is the best I have ever tasted. I definitely want to come back to try some of their breakfast items as well as the falafel. They have a huge selection of sugar free syrups for their espresso drinks which I love. The inside is very clean and beautifully decorated. EDIT: I came back to try the falafel and it was the best falafel I've ever had. I am not kidding. I got it with a Greek salad and rice pilaf which had so much flavor I was in heaven. The baklava cheesecake was amazing too.

OPA Breakfast Bowl Classic French Toast
    Ria S.

My girlfriend and I came here for some good breakfast after a friend had suggested them. It's a nice, quaint spot to enjoy a good meal. We had a breakfast bowl and French toast with macchiatos as well. The food was prepared fresh and made to order. When we received the food it was hot and super tasty. The potatoes needed a little bit of seasoning, but other than that, we have no complaints about the food. The young lady who took our order did seem a little overwhelmed with her little ones running around. It didn't bother us, but may be an issue if someone just wants to enjoy a nice, quiet meal. We will def be back to visit and try something else on the menu.

This isn't a negative thing, it just caught me a bit off guard. Once inside, there are menus posted while you're standing in line. Luckily, there was no line, so I was just standing up front like a lost idiot trying to figure out what to order. I ended up going with one of the seasonal biscuit options along with a coffee. The food itself was good, comforting, filling, and exactly what you hope for when biscuits are the main event. I remember enjoying the meal and leaving satisfied on the food front. The coffee, however, didn't really match the food. It was expensive for the size and quality, and while it wasn't terrible, it wasn't memorable either. Given how well the biscuits delivered, the coffee felt like an afterthought. The place itself is nice, clean, and has a relaxed vibe, and it wasn't very crowded at the time. There were some people inside, but not enough to justify how loud it got. A guy was asleep inside with his phone blasting whatever video he was watching, and no employee ever addressed it. I'm fairly certain he wasn't a customer, and it definitely disrupted what was otherwise a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, Maple Street Biscuit Company is a solid breakfast or brunch spot. I'd come back for the food, but next time I might skip the coffee and hope for a quieter dining room.

Food took long to where we had to ask about our food, and items that were asked to be cooked different were not. The waffles were hard as a hockey puck and they were asked to be cooked to be softer when ordering. Well when we ask for our checks to pay, the guy that is at the front offered to take the waffles off the bill since they were remade twice and still not touched, the waitress (I would say the main lady there) got upset because the waffles were being taken off so she stormed off and passed the card machine to another waitress to finish paying. Places like this include mandatory gratuity on all checks but the service don't match. I will say the chicken was good, that's about it.

Four-Star Review - Metro Diner…read more Metro Diner offers an impressive variety of menu choices that make it easy for almost anyone to find something they will enjoy. From the moment the meal began, it was clear the restaurant focuses on hearty portions, classic comfort flavors, and a welcoming dining experience. The appetizers were a strong start. They were served hot, fresh, and well prepared. Each item had a satisfying texture and balanced seasoning. The presentation was simple yet appealing, and the portions were generous enough to share. These starters set a positive tone for the rest of the meal and showed consistency in kitchen execution. Moving into the main entrées, the variety truly stood out. The menu offers a wide range of comfort favorites, breakfast options, and traditional diner classics. Every entrée ordered at the table was flavorful, filling, and cooked as expected. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the meals were served in portions that reflected good value. A very good friend of mine, a lovely lady in her 80's who's also known the siblings for years and who's been a very good customer and extremely kind to all of them for were meeting for breakfast on 5/17/26. I kingly spoke to Rita and told her my friend was already seeded so I politely told Rita I was going in join my friend who was already seated. Rita is the only one I spoke to that morning besides our server. I had some food left after we finished breakfast so asked for a to go box as well as a cup of coffee to go. Then all hell broke loose!!! The next thing I know I heard Rita YELLING, "He asked for a to go box!!!". Then Spero and Rita started screaming at each other then I heard them say my name. Spero comes out from behind the grill, sprints over to our booth, learns down, gets right in my face then starts screaming and cursing at me very loudly in front a full restaurant of customers as well as my dear friend!!! I was shocked then Rita started screaming a d cursing me from across the restaurant!!! After a minute or I stood and also started screaming and yelling back at Spero and Rita!!! My friend was absolutely terrified and in shock!!! I'm not proud of my reaction but I give what I get and I'm not the type of person to sit there and take it!!! Finally Spero yelled at me to "Get the fuck off his property" then something along the lines of he take if me outside and take care of me!!! I obliged him and followed him out the door!!! My friend was shaking and terrified as we went outside while Spero threatened to "beat my ass" while we booth screamed and yelled at each other!!! I told him to please hit me that I've always wanted to own a restaurant!!! Spero finally went back inside and I tended to my friend who was shaking like a leaf and terrified!!! I calmed her down then we got in our vehicles and left. I realized I forgot my glasses and Rita was standing at the door when I went back yelling to me as I stepped out of my car, "Get the fuck off my property, you Motherfucker!!!", I told I would be if she would bring my glasses. She came and said they weren't there and cussed at me until I drove away!!! The previous Sunday another friend went to Fireside about 9:15am when he was told by server told they were closed for the day and yhat the siblings had been fighting and Spero left!!! I've heard many stories of their horrible behavior for years but I'd never before seen it up close nor been the victim!!! Nanda is the only one of them I've never heard anything horrible about. Rita and Spero are severely unhinged, especially Rita!!! In my opinion she's rude, nasty, hateful and crazy and someone that doesn't need to be in the restaurant business. She's had a constant. turnover of servers for years!!! I also believe Spero was on something that morning!!! Both of them need professional medical help!!! My friend will NEVER darken their door again!!!
