This is an independent restaurant located near other stores and restaurants in a strip mall. I was pleased with my breakfast because I was able to get a good option with no meat. I enjoyed scrambled eggs with cheese, skillet potatoes, and pancakes. The pancakes were ok. A little dense and less fluffy to me and I usually prefer a run syrup, but it was on the table. I wanted to ask for warm, but they were quite busy. Adalia was ok. I prefer my server to be attentive instead of me needing to call their attention. The restaurant has a small diner vibe. My mom and I both ordered the Breakfast Special $12.99 which is the first item on the menu. It comes with choice of main protein (links, bacon, sausage patties, eggs prepared by choice, grits/hash browns, pancakes/french toast/ etc. Waitress wasn't sure if there was an up charge for making the French toast/pancakes special (Nutella banana, etc). French toast needed a little something extra. A little sprinkle of table sugar helped with the syrup. Dine to Christian Contemporary music and news on the television. Restroom super clean. Out for breakfast. This place was mentioned in a video we watched so we headed over. Small dining area, seat yourself. Busy for a Thursday but we got a seat right away. Menu is large and has breakfast and lunch. All sounded really good. I got the chicken fiesta bowl. Lots of great grilled flavors. Seasoned well. Deb had the Chicken Crepes. Really nice. Good flavors. We also had to grab a waffle of course. I believe this is Belgian style. Large and thick but light and airy. Pretty good even without butter or syrup. Solid place with great food. New breakfast spot that opened in Hope Mills!! Food was amazing. I'm a plain Jane when it comes to pancakes but my daughter ordered the strawberry pancakes and had a nibble and was hooked!!! Definitely trying next time. The home fries were just how I like it just like up north (CT) not the hash brown way and seasoned!!! The grits were piping hot but has perfect consistency did need a little more salt. The sausage patties were a bit dry for me but I still nibbled. If you're looking for another breakfast spot besides "Waffle House" come here!!! read more

Went on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The diner itself was pretty much what I expected for a diner. They were fairly busy but the staff members were wonderful. Our server was quick to get our order and offer drink refills regularly. The food came out quickly and was delicious. My spouse ordered the combo breakfast with eggs, pancakes, and bacon. I ordered French Toast. The only negative for me was the price of the sides. The combo meal came with either 2 pieces of bacon or sausage while the French Toast had no sides. We each ordered a side of 2 sausage links and that added $4.50 to each of our meals. I would maybe go there again and would have given 5 stars had the sides not been that expensive. read more

I called ahead to place a breakfast pickup order: a cowboy omelette with pancakes for my husband, a waffle sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese plus a side of hash browns for my son, and the special for myself, featuring eggs over medium, bacon, grits, and French toast. When I arrived to pick up the order, the diner's cozy charm caught my eye. It appeared clean, and the staff greeted me warmly with smiles. I paid, tipped, and waited just a few minutes at the counter before being handed my order. So far, so good--or so I thought. I drove home, and we all sat down to eat. As I unpacked the bags, I quickly noticed the problems: my son's entire waffle sandwich and hash browns were missing, as was my French toast. My eggs, ordered over medium, were cooked hard, but I could've let that slide. Frustrated, I called the restaurant to report the missing items. The employee I spoke with checked the order and casually remarked, "Oh, DoorDash must've taken part of your order by mistake." She offered to remake it and asked me to return. Though annoyed at the inconvenience, I agreed and made the trip back. Upon arrival, a staff member almost immediately handed me a bag she'd retrieved from the kitchen. Trusting it was handled, I didn't check it before leaving--a rookie mistake. While stopped at a light on my drive home, I opened the containers and was dismayed to find them dripping with condensation, the food inside soggy and barely lukewarm. The French toast, waffle sandwich, and hash browns were clearly not fresh. Anyone familiar with takeout knows that styrofoam traps steam from hot food, creating condensation as it cools--meaning this had been sitting around for a while. I called the restaurant again, keeping my cool as I explained the situation. I pointed out that I'd just returned to pick up the "remade" items after being told DoorDash was to blame, only to receive what was obviously forgotten food left languishing under heat lamps. Instead of owning the mistake, the employee doubled down, insisting their containers "always get condensation." That dismissive response--and the implication that I couldn't tell the difference between fresh and stale food--pushed me over the edge. Meanwhile, my eggs, bacon, and grits were growing cold at home, my husband had finished eating, and my hungry 7-year-old was still waiting. I told her we'd wanted to love this place--its location is perfect for our family's Sunday breakfast tradition--but this experience ruined it. She offered a refund, which I appreciated, though I'm still waiting to see if it actually happens or if I'll need to chase that down too. This could've played out differently. Mistakes happen; I get it. If the first employee I'd called had simply said, "We're so sorry, we left part of your order behind. Let us remake everything fresh so your family can enjoy breakfast together," I'd have brushed it off. Instead, I got excuses, old food, and attitude. It's no wonder businesses in this town struggle or get "Fayettevillized"--a reputation for apathy like this is a death knell. I'm all for supporting local spots, but if they don't care about their customers, why should we care about them? Disappointed doesn't even cover it. Save your money and eat at home--or anywhere else. This is my second time visiting the location and it did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and I was welcome immediately upon arrival. The place was busy and with reason. I got the Montecristo sandwich and it was amazing. My son got to try the Nutella and banana crepes. Highly recommend! read more

Called on a busy Sunday morning lady over the phone was very nice and patient. I'm not able to speak too fast. The place has a lot of potential. We did not eat in we did get our food to go so I do always take that into consideration he said that the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice! The food is good. It could be great with some seasoning that's all! Added a teaspoon of salt to my steak omelette and it was literally perfect! And this comes from somebody on a cardiac/kidney diet was excited to see home fries on the menu I'm from New York. It's a staple for me when I see on a menu. They could be cooked a little bit more the middle was still a little raw seasoning on them are great. Just needed to cook a little more but I understand it's a Sunday morning everybody's rushing! my boyfriend had the his normal country breakfast he's a plain ole country man grits eggs sausage French toast he did enjoy it. He also said that all it needed was salt and that he LOVED THE Strawberry French toast, other than that it was GOOD but could definitely be GREAT will give another try! Tried them for the first time and last time today. We did a pick up order only to get home and realize that they didn't put our sons breakfast and my wife's French toast. So she had called them and they said "oh DoorDash accidentally took your food, we will remake it if you want to come back and get it". So my wife drove back up just to be handed the same cold food that they FORGOT to package up. The to go container was full of condensation and food was ice cold. The lady stood her ground and argued how their containers produce a lot of condensation, guess they order the special to go boxes. If you live in Hope Mills Save your time, money and frustration and go to Eggs up Grill right down the road. This place made a mistake and won't even own up to it which tells me they don't give a about customer service or their business staying afloat. read more

First time trying this place and upon entering it was like walking on eggshells. I noticed a man at the end of the counter staring NEVER speaking or looking friendly or welcoming AT ALL. The waitress was nice and that's about it. The guy I guess he was the "owner/manager" ended up giving us our food, he didn't say thank you, not even a smile, guess we weren't what he expected. We asked for extra condiments because we are traveling and he acted as if we asked him for everything he had. I would leave zero stars if I could but unfortunately, I can't. We were seated by a server which made us feel very welcome (older white lady). As we were looking at the menu we got another server who was AWFUL (younger child with glasses). She was all over the restaurant doing whatever she wanted without a care in the world. jumping up and down, following the servers around to close, and playing with whipped cream, we didn't see her once wash her hands after having them in her mouth. She was acting like she was a child and if we wanted to see that we would have stayed home with our kids. She also messed up on our food but at that point, we just wanted to go. I wanted to talk to the manager but the guy that was there looked very unpleasant and as if he couldn't be bothered by anyone.
