I live in Maryland and we no longer have a Bahama Breeze so it was nice to be able to dine at one after so many years. My husband and I sat outside and enjoyed the "breeze" (no pun intended) and the DJ. Graduations and birthdays were being celebrated but the venue didn't feel overcrowded nor was there a wait to get a table. Daisa was our courteous server for the evening. She was very attentive and nice. My Bahama Mama drink was soooo good. If you've read any of my other posts, you know I am a huge fan of classic margaritas and of late, Lemon drops, so to have a Bahama Mama was a blast from the past. One of our meals were not as hot as we would have liked. I mentioned it to Daisa and in no time the meal was replaced to our liking. I certainly enjoyed myself and the vibe of the evening. Our waitress, Miyah, was super friendly and did a great job serving us. She apologized for the wait for our food but considering how crowded it was, we didn't think the wait was bad. we ordered coconut shrimp appetizer and it was superb! I ordered the Tequila glazed salmon with sweet potatoes and green beans and my husband had the Pineapple shrimp bowl. Both were amazing! The vibe is pretty much what you expect. Laid back, island feeling. The only thing we will do next time is to ask for seating away from the bar.We are not drinkers and it was pretty loud, but not terrible. We will be back! read more

Have eaten at this location a few more times and noticed extremely slow service, as well as menu items being unavailable. This past Saturday was our last attempt. Walked into a less than half full restaurant. Hostess said she'd be right with us and walked away. When she returned about 5 min later, she said there was a 15 min wait (fo our party of 3). We provided a name/# to receive a text. We finally gave up and left (why not at least seat us so we can have a drink while we wait on who knows what?) Xena was the BEST! I write a lot of reviews but never about To-Go service. However, we placed an order online. I love Bahama Breeze's empanadas but I also love the chutney that comes with it. When sharing, it's hard to share the small amount of chutney that comes with the empanada. So, I called and asked that they add extra to the To-Go order. Xena was so nice! I was expecting someone to say "yes, we will add it" then forget. When my husband arrived to pick up the food, she came out to let him know that she put the extra chutney in the bag. After having multiple bad experiences with food orders this week, I want to give a huge SHOUT OUT to Xena! Thank you!! It was small to you but it was huge to me. Thanks!!! read more

- Blown Away in Fayetteville Was in Fayetteville for a convention today and ended up at Bahama Breeze with what could have easily been a logistical nightmare nearly over 20+ people, three separate OpenTable reservations, multiple different parties, separate checks, and young kids in the mix. Oh and I booked the same day.. From our standpoint, it was quite a scene. No really.. And yet... they pulled it off flawlessly. I'm still kind of shocked... The staff handled it like absolute pros, friendly, attentive, and completely unflappable. The food? Spot on across the board. Everything came out hot, correct, and delicious. Drinks were flowing, refills were quick, and every single person in our group left impressed. My wife and I have not stopped talking for the last 30 minutes about how chain experiences have been wretched and for at least the last 10 years we've not had a good one. This experience is absolutely blown us out of the water and for that reason I have renewed interest in this brand!! I don't hand out five stars lightly, but this was a really impressive experience from start to finish. Hats off to the entire team for making a big, complicated night feel easy and enjoyable. Bought my mom a Mother's Day gift certificate so she could try out this new place in Fayetteville. She waited to go till we were up there and could go with them. Love the ambiance and island vibes! The menu is huge with a little bit of everything for everyone. However nothing really knocks you right socks off. My Jerk Chicken Pineapple Bowl was Not spicy enough. Really more sweet teriyaki that spicy jerk as others have said. The Tuna Tostada Stack was Delicious though. Big app. Could be a meal. Overall it was just ok. The vibe is good. My daughter chose to have her 16th birthday celebration with Bahama Breeze. It was an average experience. No one seemed impressed with their food choices but none of the kids complained. She enjoyed herself and the DJ and that's all that matters to me. I had the jerk chicken pasta, it wasn't good. It was very dry, I assumed that it was a creamy pasta based on the menu description however no sauce was present or visible. Our waitress did complete a service recovery for the pasta and replaced the menu item with a Tropical Fruit Chicken Salad ... I didn't eat much because I really wanted pasta lol My mother in law ordered pasta as well and hers was bone dry-- she asked for sauce-- her pasta was cold before her sauce was brought to her. I love Bahama Breeze. The Raleigh location was one my favorite places to eat when I was in college. I went around 11 on 2/9. The food was about as expected. I had coconut shrimp and it was really good. I also had the jerk chicken pasta and I do feel it was not as flavorful as I've had in the past but it was still good. Also this location didn't do the parmesan, which maybe they just don't do at all anymore. My service was meh. The waitress knew I was looking at the drink menu but I feel more than ten minutes elapsed before I saw her again. I would say this was excusable but at that time the restaurant was not crowded. She also didn't refill my water. However I will say I was really impressed by the manager. Not only did he offer to refill my water when he noticed it was empty, he offered to get me a to go box and even packaged my leftovers. read more

I came to visit my mom and decided to stop by Bahama Breeze. When I walked in I was greeted and informed that the wait will be 55 mins. We decided to go to the bar to have a few drinks while waiting on our table. Customer service: 7/10 I am going to give this rating due to lack of attention. We were sitting at least 15 minutes before having to ask who was our waiter/waitress. There were several employees huddling around talking. Drinks: 8/10 I started off with a Bahamarita I loved the presentation however, the drink was very bitter. I decided to get the Ultimate Pineapple and it was the best choice that I should have made the first time. The drink was very creamy and refreshing. I needed another one! Food 6/10 I ordered the paella the rice was very overcooked. The food was below room temperature. My sister enjoyed her jerk chicken breast with mash potatoes. The conch croquettes were all breading. The dining room is pleasantly decorated in a Caribbean. theme reminding us of the islands, and the service we received was friendly and efficient. This is my second review since they opened. I visited this time for 10 days and ate here everyday. There were slight variations in my order and I could tell who made my meal by the end. But I ordered the red snapper everyday. Everyday. And the Coconut shrimp twice. My food was always good and the service always top notch. We got there at around11:45 am, it was getting pretty crowded. The server was knowledgeable and friendly. I started with a Virgin Ultimate Pineapple, it was the most refreshing, tasteful, and rewarding pineapple juice I had in years. I had the Baby back ribs with fries, cousin got the seafood paella, jerk pasta and salmon with yellow rice. I believe everyone's dishes was cook to perfection. This place is pretty good. I heard there's happy hour at 4 pm. It's a hit.
