First time coming here, wanted to try something new that was vibrant, so I saw this establishment strolling through downtown Cary and it was packed. Everyone was welcomed here from kids and your for legged friend too. They have drinks from their fridge but just be aware of an upcharge which is legitimately fair in the sense of business. I didn't see any food listed but this place was a very energetic bar. Definitely recommend coming back!

While I'm not a huge beer guy, I do enjoy good beer and Pharmacy Bottle + Beverage does a great job there! Located near a busy corner of Chatham and N. Academy, this casual beer bar is pretty popular and usually busy. With a great selection of craft beer on tap along with cans in their cases, you should be able to find whatever you're in the mood for. And at $6 a draft, you'll find it a decent price. The vibe at Pharmacy is good, the bartenders are skilled and all sorts of Caryites drop in for a pint. It just feels like a comfortable meeting spot, whatever you have scheduled! And if I'm not up for a cocktail at Sidebar, I usually end up here now. I don't get in as often as I'd like since I live in Raleigh but am at Pharmacy bottle often enough to know that it just delivers a great experience for an adult bevvy.

One of our go-to's in Cary. Staff/bartenders are very laid back and friendly. Beer options are plentiful - drafts, cans, bottles, cans in the cooler to choose from. All sorts of beer types and from many local breweries throughout NC. Plenty of indoor seating (I like that they normally have the game showing on the TVs), and outdoor seating as well. Right in the middle of downtown, there's plenty of food options in walking distance.

Cute place to stop and have a beer in downtown Cary. I tried a watermelon gose, which was pretty good. I wasn't crazy about the fact that they don't allow samples of the beer, but they do have 8 ounce pours. They have a cool outdoor patio to hang out too.

Very cool bottle shop and beer bar in downtown Cary. Well curated draft list containing local beers and usually a cider or two. Also carry wine and Prosecco by the glass. Very good prices on beer to go. Is in the former home of a local pharmacy, and as the stepfather of a pharmacist, I love that about this place. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.

I have always enjoyed coming here as the vibe is (typically) pretty laid back. They always have a nice selection (around 10) of various beers, so there is something for everyone. It's also a bottle shop with a good sized section of beer to go. There's plenty of seating inside, and a few picnic tables outside. I think there is also an outdoor patio if you go to the back past the bar and restrooms. Dogs are allowed inside.

Regardless of the fact that one of the Triangle's newest bottles shops, Pharmacy, has absolutely no competition, they are doing a great job keeping the space fresh, new and attracting people from far and wide. Located right on the main strip in downtown Cary, I visited one afternoon and saddled up to the counter to check out this bottle shop [that I'd heard a LOT about!] Having only been opened about four months, the owner has a great selection of beers, wine and a handful of bottled ciders. All drafts are $5.50/pint and are served in full 16oz pours (in rather unique 'can mimicking glasses). Patrons also have the ability to request 8oz pours and a beer flight (three 8oz pours of beer for around $8.50). Wine is also available by the glass or bottle to take home although the shop doesn't offer any specific gluten beers. The space itself is open and bright with lots of natural sunlight, personal table tops, bar seating and outdoor picnic tables for those 'cool' summer nights. You can tell the owner is passionate about his baby, he's easy to talk to and incredibly friendly. As for the selection of beer, it's pretty average. You won't find any specialty beers that you can't find at some of the more established spots in downtown Raleigh or Durham. However, for a town like Cary, they have a great selection of your typical craft beers and since they're the first, I think most would be grateful that Cary has a bottle shop instead of being disappointed by their selection. I don't venture out to Cary often, but I guarantee you that Pharmacy will be a new reason for me to visit!

Great beer choices and I love the smaller glass choices for small drinkers like me. My beer doesn't get hot!

For starters, our waiter(if I'm not mistaken was also the bartender) was very attentive and gave excellent recommendations since it was our first visit. I ordered the rose water lemonade and my son ordered the strawberry lychee. Both were delicious so much so I asked could the two be combined without the carbonation that the lychee drink had. It was a hit!!!! For appetizers we ordered the Duck Egg rolls and asked the waiter to surprise us with the second appetizer. He chose the Pork Bao. The egg rolls were our favorite out of the two but both were great. For our entrees, my son ordered the General Tso Chicken. I couldn't decide between two dishes so I asked the waiter once again to surprise me. I ended up the whole fish(black bass) entree which was a phenomenal choice. The flavors were like a party in your mouth. It was seasoned to perfection and the sauce: OMG!!!!! Both entrees came with a bowl of fluffy rice. For dessert we got the mooncakes. They were ok. The ambience was nice and welcoming. I don't drink but was informed that it was a place people go to take part in their amazing drink selections. That it is also a great place to read a book which they have plenty to choose from if you forgot your own and a good meet up or date spot. If you are looking for new place to try this place will be a great choice!!!! Let me know what you think!!!

That made us laugh and we were thirsty so we decided to take a break from shopping. We parked at VF parking lot and discovered that their doors were locked even though the hours on the door said they should have been open. We noticed South Line Brewing right beside it and saw people so we walked across the parking lot. We were immediately greeted by some friendly patrons (looked like they were having an event) and went inside. The bartender asked us what we would like to sample and we quickly found a beer to our liking. We inquired about the brewery next door and she informed us that they were closed for good. (Not this brewery's fault, but how rude that there was no posting on VF regarding this!) We really enjoyed our time here. We had a couple of beers, got a burger from the food truck, and just relaxed and people watched. I got the Notorious Bean Coffee Cream Ale and it was delicious. I had two and they went down very easily LOL. The vibe was excellent. LOTS of different seating...kinda felt like hanging out in your best friends garage (only in the best way possible!) Even sitting inside felt like sitting outside and enjoying a nice summer afternoon. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely stop by again!

They had a bunch of arcade machines, like a punching bag, a golf simulator, and a few other options. I also noticed they had some liquor behind the bar if people preferred mixed drinks versus beer :) Not useful for me, but I appreciate that they're prepared! I ordered a beer and it was solid. My wife and I chilled on the couch for a bit and it was pretty comfy. The bartender was nice as well. Overall, we had a pretty good time at South Line and would definitely consider coming back!
