The restaurant is well decorated and a relaxing environment to be in. The food was great and flavorful. Their congee was very flavorful, which was a pleasant surprise because the dish is usually very mild in flavor. The banana cake was delicious!

I love brewery bhavana! I hadn't been to this location before and I wasn't disappointed. This location is smaller, so I recommend making a reservation beforehand. Luckily, we were able to sit at the bar. Their gluten free options are excellent, and they are great about asking you if you have any allergies. Our drinks were delicious. The service was excellent, filled our water frequently and asked if we needed anything. The portions for food are good. The table next to us did have room for a stroller if you happen to bring kids. The space is clean and decorated nicely.

Location: 5 Service: 5 Drinks: 5 Food: 3 Value: 4 My spouse and I have been to the downtown location and wanted to give this one a try as it's a bit closer to our house and we lIke Fenton in general! This location has bit more limited menu and seems to cater more to cocktails and dim sum. Still, we enjoyed a Friday night date night that included their golden espresso martini (one of my fav espresso martinis around) and pisco sour (also very good!). We had crab Rangoon and another option, as well as shared an entree. The appetizers were a bit better than the main, as the chicken wasn't quite the best - the consistency was just a little off. For the price, as this is meant to very much be more of an elevated dining experience, I was a bit let down. But overall we left feeling very satisfied, and would definitely return! I think we'd likely do pre dinner drinks here and maybe check out dinner at another one of one great options in Fenton!

This was my first time visiting the Cary location after a short shopping trip at Fenton. It's located right on the corner near the parking lot for easy access to parking, plenty of outdoor seating, and such a cute location for a date night, girls night out, or any chill vibe you're going for. When I visited, I came really hungry but I left more than satisfied. My bartender (Sorry I forgot her name!) took excellent care of me. I love taking myself on solo dates and indulging in cuisines with no rush to be anywhere and she made the visit even better. I'm an Old Fashioned drinker, but I was nervous because of the sesame, but I trusted my bartender, and tried the Black Sesame Old Fashioned, and Sheesh! It did not disappoint! She made that drink to perfection! Perfect blend of sweetness while maintaining that original base of a traditional old fashioned. I ordered from the Dim Sum menu only (more than enough). I had the PORK & CHIVE SHUMAI and CHAR SIU BAO and they bursted with flavors just as I remembered from the location in Raleigh. I wish I had more room in my stomach to keep going with the Big Plates but I moved on to dessert instead and finished it off with the ROASTED BANANA CAKE SLICE. It was just enough. The cream cheese combined with the caramel icing sealed the banana flavor together to make a perfect dessert to finish my meal but not without grabbing one more Sesame Old Fashioned Haha! But I totally appreciate my bartender for keeping me hydrated with some water throughout my meal. Can't wait to return and try the other dishes on the menu in addition to experiencing the excellent customer service.

As a big fan of their downtown location, I was excited to check out their new Fenton location. The interior is small and filled with natural light. We were greeted upon arrival and seated right away indoors. Additional seating is available outside on the patio. Our server was welcoming, patient, and funny. He introduced us to the restaurant and checked in on us throughout the meal. The menu is short, we chose the edamame ginger dumplings ($15.80), chocolate caramel turtle cake ($12.80), and a blackberry mocktail. Each thing we ordered we enjoyed. It is a little pricy, but reasonable for the quality and location. I do prefer the downtown Raleigh location better, however, this location is an elegant spot for casual and romantic gatherings.

Yum! Just as great as the downtown location, and service was fast and friendly-- which works as this location is smaller and people are packing themselves inside. The Bao, dumplings, and general tso chicken were all great! The cocktails are fantastic and I'm partial to "the cure." Cheers!

We decided to check out Brewery Bhavana at Fenton. We went in the evening on a Saturday and the place was rightfully packed, but we were able to get a seat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Beautifully decorated space with nice lighting / large windows looking out at the North Carolina trees. Beer was very good. Food was tasty and came out reasonably fast! I had the general Tso chicken, Napa cabbage rolls, and banana cake. No regrets!

Cool place to hang out! They have out door seating that opens up to a grassy courtyard. Started off with cold beer, it is a brewery! I got a Glean, crisp with a touch of fruit, very good. We ate outside and it was perfect! I'm a tequila guy, so I got the Oaxaca Old Fashioned and the Black Sesame Old Fashioned, both were very good. We had 4 for dinner so we went tapas style (small plates). For starters we got Crab Rangoon, char Siu Bao, Duck Egg Rolls, Cabbage Rolls. Bigger dishes we got General TSO Chicken and Sweet Soy Chicken, very good. It was perfect for 4 adults. Service was great! Cheers!

This place is EXCELLENT! First things first, the food was great. The stars of the show were the sesame chili noodles with bamboo and tofu skin and the chicken curry bao. Both were so flavorful and well cooked. Perfect ambiance with vining pothos hanging from the ceiling and prompt service. I had made a mistake with my reservation and called them 10 minutes before I was supposed to be there, and the staff member I spoke with was very helpful and accommodating! Would recommend getting a reservation if you go especially if it's on the weekend. Since it's a dim sum place, I would recommend getting several dishes to share with the table. It is not inexpensive (ended up being around $55 per person for 4 small plates, a salad, a noodle dish, and dessert) but a lovely spot for a group meal in a very nice part of town.

The newest addition to Fenton offers a great selection of beer and dim-sum for Caryites! Brewery Bhavana Fenton is a smaller, cozier version of the original space in Raleigh. Light and bright inside, the open dining room and patio out front gives you some options for seating. The menu is still being developed given they have just opened but has the usual bao, dumplings, and larger plates from the original. The taste is pretty authentic with some slight twists. Service is excellent and they check in on you frequently to clear plates, etc. I'll keep an eye on the place and see how it evolves after opening week!

Lets just say it was so disappointed. The bao and dumplings are worse than the ones you could get at hmart or other Chinese groceries. The bamboo and cucumber salad also a miss. There is nothing to it. The drink is ok. It has some herb flavor to it so abit unique. The peking duck is the best of all. Crispy and not so much fat. But the portion is small.

Incredible dining experience. Very cute restaurant. Inside and outdoor patio seating. Great beer selection. Service was fantastic. Food was incredible. Make sure to get the XLB!!!

This is one of those places that has some of the best food and such a cool vibe. I have gone here twice now and every time the food and service is amazing. It's nice because their tapas is perfect for trying different things. I especially love thier Golden Milk Espresso made with corn milk. Trust me on this one it is good!

They offer a huge variety of dishes ranging from classic Chinese and American Chinese food to handmade dim sum made fresh in house. Everything we tried was packed with flavor, especially the walnut shrimp which I'm still thinking about. The roasted duck and char siu were also standout dishes and you can really tell they put care into the food here. I also love that they specialize in both Sichuan and Cantonese dishes, so there's something for everyone depending on what flavors you're craving. If you want the full dim sum cart experience, definitely stop by on the weekends from 11 to 2. It made the experience feel even more authentic and fun. This visit completely won me over and I'll definitely be back to keep exploring the menu.

I love chicken feet but these were not good. It had a weird aftertaste and not as tender. The beef stew was okay but I wouldn't get it again. Soup dumplings were dry. Gyozas were not crispy. There's a bit of a language barrier with the servers. I asked for no onions/scallions in the fried rice or stir fry udon. Upon checking my receipt, it was marked "no veg" and when I asked my server she said "it's just easier to say no veg." I told her we would've liked the carrots and bean sprouts, just no onions/scallions. The conversation was a fail so I gave up. The fried rice lacked color but had nice flavor. Ambiance is great. I liked that they had a menu with pictures if you needed it and that they also came by and named all the items. This is helpful especially for people enjoying dim sum for the first time. This made me believe the waitresses were rather attentive and welcoming to first time guests. When we selected our dim sum they made sure to cut it so that it was easy to share and they also reheated items so they were hotter if they came off the fried cart even without us asking. They also refilled our water several times and checked on us. The restaurant is spacious and has a lot of room outside for parking making it an easier place to bring more people for dim sum compared to other dim sum options in the Triangle area. While I believe the service and the restaurant interior/exterior made the restaurant a great candidate for future visits I do want to note that the dim sum did not seem traditionally Cantonese or up to dim sum standard. There were some dim sum items that I've never seen served in Hong Kong or at traditional dim sum restaurants. Out of the four items I ordered, not all of them were excellent either. Particularly the soup dumplings did not really have soup in them. That being said they still offer the classics like shrimp dumplings, siu mai, and others on the menu but I will have to go back and try them since I ordered other items this visit. The pricing is roughly what you'd expect to see at dim sum restaurants in this area. Overall recommend to visit if you enjoy dim sum experiences.

The staff are incredibly friendly and hardworking, and the atmosphere feels both welcoming and authentic. All items are affordable and with reasonable prices! It's the only legit dim sum place near Chapel Hill/Carrboro, about a 25-minute drive for us--and we gladly make the trip almost every week. We simply can't get enough of their food! Warning: Everything on their menu is dangerously addictive. You've been warned! Our Favorites 2. Pork Dumpling (Siu Mai / Siomai) -- Steamed pork in a wonton wrapper, perfectly juicy with just the right balance of pork and vegetables in every bite. A delicious classic done right. 6. Beef Onion Dumpling in Chili Sauce -- One of the best dumplings we've had--and we've been to dim sum spots all over the world! The beef is flavorful and juicy, wrapped in a thin, perfectly chewy skin. The chili sauce complements the filling beautifully without overpowering it. Generous portion, amazing value, flawless execution. 9. Steamed BBQ Pork Bun -- Soft, fluffy buns filled with mildly sweet BBQ pork. Comforting, classic, and delicious every time. 11. Egg Yolk Bun -- Lightly sweet custard filling inside soft steamed buns. The perfect bite of dessert to end your dim sum feast. 16. Bean Skin Stuffed with Pork -- Juicy, lightly seasoned pork wrapped in delicate bean skin. Flavorful but not overpowering--simple and satisfying. 27. Crispy Shrimp Ball -- Juicy and lightly seasoned shrimp goodness inside a crispy ball. They disappeared into the void of my stomach as soon as they touched our table. 28. Crispy Taro Puff with Chicken -- Think of these as bite-sized empanadas with savory, well-seasoned chicken inside--like the best mini chicken pot pies! Crispy, flavorful, and completely addictive. The Finishing Touch Dim sum is meant to be enjoyed with tea, and they offer a simple traditional brew that pairs beautifully with every dish. I've had the pleasure of eating some really good dim sum, and while I can admit that the dim sum here will never be as good as places in New York, I can say that they do a decent job and that the experience will be enjoyable for any eater. Rather than delivering dishes on the traditional cart, Dim Sum Asian Bistro uses a menu where you can mark off the dishes that you want. There are a lot of different steamed, fried, and a la carte options that you can choose from. A lot of the basics are done pretty well. They have good pan fried dumplings, shrimp dumplings, shao mai, and coconut pudding. They also have some other, complex dishes that we really enjoy. Their curry powder turnip cake is some of the best out there. The curry flavor pops and the fry is absolutely perfect. Crispy on the outside, but warm and soft on the inside. They also make their chicken feet really well, which is a tough one to do sometimes. I know that there will be some good options. Although Dim Sum Asian Bistro has some good things, they also serve some things that you would just be better off not ordering. They have three different types of rice crepe dishes with meat. Their best is easily the shrimp, and you should stick to that. In fact, I would avoid the beef version at all costs, it is made with a beef paste and the texture was so strange, it was kind of unappetizing! I also think their fried rice could use some work, and I think some items, like their custard buns, could have come from the frozen section. I think my family can be pretty critical about dim sum since it has been a big part of our personal culture. However, sometimes I feel I need to take a step back and look at it broadly. I've come here with some of my friends who don't eat dim sum consistently and they are always wowed by the experience. From that perspective, I can see how this place hits the mark. They serve pretty authentic food and make it taste good. There is always a buzz about the restaurant and people come and go over the weekend. It's no wonder you might have to wait to get a table, Dim Sum Asian Bistro is definitely doing something right!

Will I be back again - Absolutely!! Everyone in our group agrees that this is the best Chinese food anywhere! I will caution some seeing this review that unlike many other Asian restaurants, if you order a Hot and spicy dish here it will indeed be very hot. I consider that to be good because I enjoy hot spicy food, but for those who cannot handle hot food stick with the milder dishes.
