He told us about their couple massage deal on Groupon and we were surprised they were located so close to us. Diane and Syan were our massage therapists and they did an amazing job. We both agreed that we felt 10x better than we came in. I am a preschool teacher so I spend a large amount of my day bending and lifting so I have lower back pain and tension in my shoulders. What I got was a sloppy, messy design that was virtually impossible to fix or improve because she just kept adding more crooked, sloppy, uneven lines. I was supposed to get both hands done, but I stopped her halfway through the first hand when it was obvious that she had no concept of symmetry and that ultimately this was not going to get any better. I tried washing it off as soon as I got out of her chair, but the stain had already started to set. She told me it should only last a day or two since I removed it so quickly.. Fast forwarding to today, I cut my own hair, but before that, this is the barber shop I came to ever since high school. I kept myself attached to it because its prices always stayed reasonable (under $20 is hard to find nowadays!). It doesn't really stand out from other barber shops, though. It has a TV, plenty of chairs for waiting and a long row of barbers. I've heard of some shops that play music and really make for an entertaining environment.. I never really got that from here, but they get the job done. Soon before I started cutting my own hair, I started scheduling appointments in advance. I felt like I was the only one among my friends who didn't do that, so I said "Why not?" I had always assumed scheduling meant they were guaranteed to be available to take care of you right at that time, but that's actually not the case. Most of the time I still had to wait 15-20 minutes to get taken care of. One time (my last time), my barber left to take a lunch break at the very time we had agreed to meet. In summary, they get the job done and their prices are good... but don't bother scheduling, just go in during non-peak time.
