This was the first time in 32 yrs that a hairdresser listened, heard me and followed what I wanted. Gwen is THE BEST!!! I got my hair done before going on vacation in October and it came out PERFECT! Gwen was so kind, conversation was easy and she SLAYED! With over 20 years experience, she is an expert color mix artist, she knew exactly how to get the color I was looking for (which was unavailable via book) I cut over 10 inches off so I was pretty nervous about it but it came out great!!! I didn't even cry, which usually always happens when I sacrifice any real length. The salon is right on the main strip of Goshen so easy to find, lots of parking nearby and very comfortable.

A client next to me was talking loudly about completely inappropriate topics. It was racist and offensive. I could not believe what I was hearing. I moved to another part of the salon, due to social distancing, and was now directly next to the that stylist. Turns out it was not her client that was being loud and offensive, it was the stylist! She had a new client, and the diatribe started all over again! I was so offended that I gave her a look. She tried to back peddle and then actually said that if anyone wanted to protest, it should be the "Indians!" After we took their land and put them on land that couldn't even grown corn! I confronted her after my appointment and all she did was roll her eyes at me. She argued that she was entitled to her opinion and then tried to tell me everything she said was true. I said that I would not argue politics with her, and that while she was entitled to her opinion, that this was her place of business and I was a paying customer and I shouldn't have to hear about her narrow mindedness. She was incredibly rude and disrespectful to my face. My stylist and the receptionist both apologized for her behavior. They said she also has a problem with gay people. I called and spoke to the manager or owner, not sure which. She told me that there was nothing that she would do. She was aware of this stylists behavior, but she insisted there wasn't anything she could do. I will not support a business that allows such behavior from their employees. I would never subject myself to that hate again.

The owner of this Salon is very young and obviously does not have business savvy. So unprofessional, the way she went about handling this situation. Honestly a little upset/disappointed about my last visit. I've went for my brows 2 times before and…read moredidn't have an issue. Backstory- I get my brows done very seldom as I have a hard time trusting people with my brows and I just like to wait long times in between visits. So I like to let my brows grow out. Finally decided to go again and I feel like they got a bit ruined. One brow is slightly shorter than the other vertical length-wise and then the other brow is a bit shorter horizontal length. Last two times Poonam did my brows they were fine but this time I even felt like too much was taken off and they were. I am upset because my brows are now crooked and like I said I don't even get my brows done often so I kind of wish I didn't get them done. It's disappointing when your eyebrow threader is more worried about talking you into getting a blackhead facial instead of caring more about the task being done in the moment. I would have much rather she take better care of my brows and tell me about my blackheads AFTER she threaded my brows. Ugh I'm annoyed and I wish this wasn't the case because last 2 times weren't like this. I was also charged $2 more for using my debit card.
