Still a customer of hers ! She takes her time & is meticulous about getting the wax job done right,also she makes you feel very comfortable .so if your new to waxing nothing to fear . I've gone to many other places and have had horrible experiences . I still highly recommend her to anyone looking for all their waxing needs . I want to start by saying my stylist is great! The atmosphere not so much. I went to get a much needed color after the COVID-19 shut down. A client next to me was talking loudly about completely inappropriate topics. It was racist and offensive. I could not believe what I was hearing. I moved to another part of the salon, due to social distancing, and was now directly next to the that stylist. Turns out it was not her client that was being loud and offensive, it was the stylist! She had a new client, and the diatribe started all over again! I was so offended that I gave her a look. She tried to back peddle and then actually said that if anyone wanted to protest, it should be the "Indians!" After we took their land and put them on land that couldn't even grown corn! I confronted her after my appointment and all she did was roll her eyes at me. She argued that she was entitled to her opinion and then tried to tell me everything she said was true. I said that I would not argue politics with her, and that while she was entitled to her opinion, that this was her place of business and I was a paying customer and I shouldn't have to hear about her narrow mindedness. She was incredibly rude and disrespectful to my face. My stylist and the receptionist both apologized for her behavior. They said she also has a problem with gay people. I called and spoke to the manager or owner, not sure which. She told me that there was nothing that she would do. She was aware of this stylists behavior, but she insisted there wasn't anything she could do. I will not support a business that allows such behavior from their employees. I would never subject myself to that hate again. read more

This salon is great. So clean and organized. I went to Deana for a Brazilian wax (I was a first timer) and let me tell you she has the hands of an angel!!!! She is so professional and makes you feel super comfortable. It was an amazing experience. I will definitely be coming back for future appointments!! read more

If I could give no stars I would. I went in there and the woman at the front desk, a bigger woman with short blonde hair, was incredibly rude and had a completely unprofessional attitude. As I was getting my hair done I over heard her completely trashing other employees and talking badly about a client who had come in earlier in the day. As a mother, I looking forward to getting my hair done as a time to relax and enjoy myself and having to hear salon employees gossip and be rude to clients made my experience an unpleasant one. This was my first time coming to this salon, and I won't be coming back. I am not one to write bad reviews, in fact this is my first, but I felt compelled to after my experience. Keep the gossip to yourselves, if clients can hear you it's unprofessional and a bad feel for the spa. read more

Amanda Josd is the best! I can't say enough good things about her. I have very thick, course, curly hair and in all the yrs and all the salons I've been to she has hands down been the best hair dresser. Whether its color, foil, or a new cut she always knows what I want even w out bringing a picture and I'm always happy leaving. Not once have I been unhappy w my hair after leaving Sun Spa. read more

Very very aggravating that they close for three and a half days a week. The only decent tanning spot in the area. I call at 3:20 and you say you stop tanning at 3:30 cuz you close at 4. On a Saturday and don't reopen until Tuesday. What the hell kind of business is that? Very disappointed read more

I called to make a follow up appt. around 4/3/15 for my color touch up, the earliest appt was on 4/30 but during the call the person I was speaking with said she made a mistake that day would not work, so we agreed on an appt. on 5/9 at 1pm. Mind you this was a month in advance that I made my appt. I never received a confirmation call so I called myself the day of my appt. and was told I was not scheduled that day nor any other day. I was told that what they think happened was that they accidentally put my appt. under another clients name, since it ended up looking as if that client had two appts. they cancelled the 1pm appt. What appeared to them to be a duplicate appt. was most likely my appt. I was told that they would try to fit me in as it was their mistake, I received a phone call a few minutes later stating that the only thing they could do was call me on the following Tuesday if an appt. opened up that day from someone canceling, or they could schedule me for 5/22. I stated that I work Monday to Friday until 5:30 pm, so any cancelled slots they could fit me in would need to be after work, and that I would not be able to make it on 5/22 as I already had other events going on that I could not reschedule. That was the extent of them trying to fix what was their mistake. I even said that I really needed to get a spot ASAP as the fashion color was in desperate need of getting re-done, and I would either need to go someplace else or do it myself at home with a boxed dye. The person on the other line had nothing to say to that other than she can only fit me in if a spot opens up. I called back a little later and asked to speak with the shop manager or a supervisor, as I did not think it was right how the situation was handled, she was not due back in until Wed. I was told her name was Lorraine, to date I have not received a call back, I don't even know if she was ever given my message. I understand they were booked, but I had to schedule a month in advance to get the appt. on 5/9, but they did nothing in the way of customer service and I feel as if I was given the same resolution as if I was a walk in client being told there was no one available. I regret having to change my overall opinion about this salon, I truly loved the work but I will not be coming back. read more

I made an appointment because my usual stylist had no appointments available for the next month and I have a special occasion coming up in 2 weeks. Never in my life have I ever been so angry or disgusted with a salon. I brought with me a picture of how I wanted my hair, and made sure to ask the stylist "Are you sure you can do this?" she reassured me she could. She told me what she would do and even told me how she would customized it to how I liked it, a tad bit different from the picture to make sure I would really like it. The entire time she was doing my hair all I got to hear was about her "arch nemesis" who has a salon in Chester and how she went to high school with her and going on and on about how she can't stand her. While she was to busy running her mouth and worried about what her arch nemesis was doing she chopped off ALL my hair and I left with the ugliest style I have ever seen, and it looked NOTHING like the picture I came with. I was in tears for a good 3 days every time I looked in the mirror wondering how was I going to fix this before my big event. The next day I called the salon to express how unhappy I was and I asked to speak with the owner. I got stuck speaking to a so called "manager" and was told that the owner would call me back and I expressed to the manager how unhappy I was and she just apologized and really didn't have much to say. About an hour later she called back (the manager) telling me that I was going to listen to what she had to say after I told her now wasn't a good time to talk as I was at work and had a line of customers out the door on a Friday no less, she told me there was nothing she could do for me and rambled on some story that the stylist told her about what happened which was NOT how it happened. Very rude and VERY unprofessional. She then told me to come in for a service on the house...which I declined, if you messed up my hair once then why would I go back and let you mess up my hair again. I think that I should have at least got some of my money back but I didn't get not one penny. And I am STILL waiting for a call back from the owner which I doubt I will ever get....Oh and might I add I now have an appointment with her "arch nemesis" December 3rd...too late to get it fixed for my special occasion but thanks for the referral!! read more
