Based on a recommendation of a friend, last month, I went to consult with the doctor of this office. She diagnosed that I have a small cavity close to my gum. She advised me that filling the cavity would alleviate the gum pain and prohibit potential root canal down the road. I am very afraid of dental operations and syringes. But she assured me that I would only feel one small pinch. So I went ahead with her recommendation to fill the cavity. I have never had an anesthesia injection as painless as this one. I did not feel any pain during the filling. Since then I have not had the gum symptom any more. The office was clean and the staff was nice and courteous.

I did not have a pcd chosen because my last dental experience was horrible and I basically have been neglecting my teeth since that visit two years ago. I'm so happy that I choose Brighter Dental. My visit on Monday was quick and to the point. I did not wait long to be seen after arriving. My xray technician was so professional and pleasant. I believe her name is Camille. She was patient and I could tell that she wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Lyons looked at my teeth and gave some recommendations. I was lucky enough to get an appointment for an extraction 2 days later. I was so nervous leading up to the procedure. I've had 3 prior extraction experiences. The two where I was awake were super painful and I was expecting it to be the same way. I was completely wrong. Dr. James Kang is the GOAT!!!. I felt nothing. He said my roots were very deep but again zero pain!! He has great bedside manners and I felt very at ease and comfortable during the entire procedure. I was nervous as I had never had anything more than a cleaning and was worried about the procedure and the pain. Luckily Dr. Kaluskar assured me it would be fine. She explained the procedure and eased my anxiety. Turns out I was worried about nothing! The anesthesia shots didn't hurt at all. And the entire extraction took 2 minutes, was painless, and before I knew it the tooth was out! The procedure was super easy and overall Dr. Kaluskar did a great job. I was recommended to Drs Jacob by a family member, and I couldn't have been happier with the visit. The waiting room is comfortably appointed with amenities, although I didn't get to stay there long, as I was ushered into the procedure room exactly at my appointed time. Dr. Joseph Jacob took the ex rays and pointed out the problem areas that needed addressing right away, and took immediate action when I thought I was just coming in for ex rays, as he found an abscess on a root base on an unsalvageable tooth that needed removing. Now I'm a big guy and resistant to Novocain, but he made sure I was numb and comfortable before working, never rushing and checking in frequently if I winced to see if I needed more Novocain. The procedure was long and complicated, and he took the extra time after the (painless) extraction to remove the infected tissue from the bone, saving the healthy bone matter, then suturing everything to prevent that horrible post-extraction feeling of dry socket. Truly a skilled oral surgeon. His manner all throughout was friendly, professional, and you could tell he knew exactly what needed to be done and had the experience to do it correctly. When in the hands of a healthcare professional it's important to have that level of trust in the competency of the doctor, and Dr Joseph didn't disappoint! My care plan requires future visits, and I'm confident that I'll receive the best care possible from him and his team.

My first day there I explained to the lady at front desk who sends the claim to the insurance. That I already been speaking to insurance co and they had given me explicit instructions when submitting my claim or it would be denied she said ok and she would call insurance co the next day. I left and following week called to confirm she called and no answer so I left voicemail. After repeatedly calling and leaving voicemails weeks passed by on for me to realize that I was being ignored. This concerned me because their surgeon was out for the month my first visit to their office was June 3 she did not send the claim until June 10 and she never called the insurance as she assured me she would on my first visit. The appointment for surgeon was supposed to be July 7. As July 7 was getting a few days away still no response so I had to drive to office to get answers because they don't pick up phone or answer voicemails. Once I get there she informs me that I won't be able to have the July 7 appointment. When was she going to tell me this? I'm only now hearing this after I had to drive to office. She tried to tell me that her protocol is to not call insurance co which was disturbing because I explained this to her a month ago when I came in for first appointment. On the first appointment she made no mention of this "protocol" she's now hiding behind. She lied to my face and she never called the insurance co in the month I was waiting. They wasted no time billing my insurance for the visit but couldn't make 1 phone call to insurance company on my behalf. As I come in to office to confront her on the lies, disregarding my case, and their inability to communicate. She suggested that I go somewhere else because she didn't want to call insurance. Now she's saying things like "oh we don't do these procedures you should go somewhere else." How convenient for her I should leave so she doesn't have to be held accountable for doing her job or be held accountable for her neglect. In fact, they do the procedures she just didn't like being called out for treating people like shit. This industry is a dirty business they just care about billing your insurance.
