Great beer. Best brewery in (the really small) town of Philipsburg, Montana. Pleasant surroundings. Known throughout the Pacific Northwest and especially the State of Montana, Philipsburg Brewing offers some delicious beers with something for everyone. The brewery, situated in the middle of town, is the perfect stopover during a visit to town or even while en route to other Montana places.

Absolute fantastic experience. went with three friends (we are all from out of town). Stop by for a beer. Ended up staying the afternoon. excellent staff, excellent beer and great pricing.

Plenty of great brews, well restored and maintained historic building in the middle of town, and chips if you need snacks with the cold beer. What more do you want from a micro-brewery? Oh yeah, on-top-of-it service--check this place has that true. Crazy in the summer with all of the visitors but well worth the elbowing and jostling.

Entire experience was great, the lady working, the beer and the mech selection was awesome. We really liked sitting outside in the sunshine watching all the people go by. We will for sure go back again.

Cool little brewery in a super cool little town. So why take a star away price. I was Charged $13 for a 8oz pour of kombucha. Maybe that's what it cost but I have never heard of this type of price before. I did not say anything and paid it and for the hat I was buying. They have lots of pretty shirts as well. Just a little bummed felt like it might have been done cause I was not from here. Beer over all was pretty good.

The place was packed! It's a very trendy welcoming place with an additional seating area located upstairs. I ordered the Coffee Porter which had a great taste. It was creamy and full of flavor. The hubby had the Imperial Stout which was bold in flavor and smooth on the palate. Unique atmosphere. I would recommend!

This brewery is a happening place in Phillipsburg! Very dog friendly (lots running around greeting everyone). Good selection of beer and bar keeps are knowledgeable and friendly. I had the Rye and another ipa and both had a smooth finish and easy to drink (forgot the names!) Downtown is historic and worth the stop.

It has no competition for the best brewery in town, but if it did Pburg Brewing would win hands down. Excellent beer, incredibly friendly staff, live music on weekends, delightful brewery dogs wandering in and out, and more character than you can pack into four walls.

Absolutely love this brewery so much! Trent waited on us today and I soooooo wish I could steal him to work with me in the bar I work at! Such a hard worker and just a good dude, thanks for the great afternoon and delicious beers!

Philipsburg, MT reminds me of Pescadero, CA. Both are road trip destinations for the adventurous at heart. Both are places of immense scenic beauty - Rocky Mountain majesty in the case of Pburg, and Pacific coast perfection in the case of Pescadero. Both are locations that rely on tourism to augment an economic model than once exploited natural resources (whales for Pescadero, precious metals for Philipsburg) but that remain places of significant splendor. Pescadero is famous for its Portuguese-American watering hole - Duartes - where you can feast on pie and artichokes. Philipsburg has great beer and local BBQ brisket (from UpNSmokin, about a block away). The brewery here is a mecca for road-trippers of virtually all stripes: Harley riders, Subarau drivers, RV fanatics, Jeep junkies - whatever. Here you'll find find beer in a range of tastes, from dark amber ales and porters to hoppy IPAs and summer ales and Hefewiezen pints. And for food, you can can get BBQ or fish tacos or whatever tickles your fancy. Pints are $4, half pints are $2, and the atmosphere is trendy but in a casual, laid-back sort of way. Get some food, grab a beer, and soak it all in. You will not drink alone here. Is the beer good? Yes, it is. Is it fresh? Yes, it is. Is it served with a smile? Yes, it is. Honestly speaking, isn't that enough? It's in the middle of SW Montana nowhere, a place with more mountains than McDonald's. You want to be here. The great beer is simply icing on the cake.

What a great brewery! The beers are delicious and the prices are GREAT! Had a cozy upstairs with plenty of tables and couches! Great place for friends and visitors!

Beer was good. I was hoping to buy some t shirts but the prices were absurdly high. Best to avoid the clothes and spend money on beer.

No food of any kind served here, just brews, in spite of the on-line claim. Cool little place. Pricey.

Terrible service, and the beer, though not bad, isn't anything special either. Save your self the trouble and just by there canned stuff.

I'll start out saying that it's off the beaten path, lol, down a short path of the main road that looks like it doesn't go anywhere but it leads to this amazing building built by the owner of the brewery. The beer is all organic, with a small yet wonderful selection and you can tell it has been brewed with love and is great!! The Yippee IPA and the Ambitious Lager are both amazing. The interior of the building is a sight to see!! From my conversation with Jim (the owner) most of the material was reclaimed or locally sourced. It's absolutely beautiful! The ambiance is wonderful as you are sitting right next to the fermentation and brewing tanks and a wood brining furnace. The attention to detail that was put into this building is amazing! If your in the area and have never been you should be here, if your traveling through you should stop by for a beer or two...or three A hidden gem

While I didn't go to the smoke stack... that is for another time when Steve and I can sight see together I did make a stop at the brewery as I didn't feel that it was too terribly far off of the Interstate. The brewery is nestled in downtown and the set up is pretty cool. There is a nice, spacious area inside the brewery but on nice days they do have outdoor seating on a patio. It was nice and warm on the day I paid a visit here so I took advantage of the outdoor option. The beer choice in my mind I also desired to have that would go along with the warmer weather would be a lighter beer. What fit the bill just fine was getting the Cool Hand Rice Lager. This was a nice, crisp beer that was just what I was looking for. A little bit biscuity and some hoppy bitterness going on that reflected this type of lager nicely. It was very refreshing to sit down to as my journey to Butte and the main event in Bozeman would mean hotter weather as that part of the trip unfolded.
