I went to Dr. Dahan for a consultation as he was recommended to me by a gf who had a very positive experience with him. The consult went fine. He's a nice and handsome guy. Definitely appears to be proficient in his craft, however, after reading his reviews I decided against having any surgery at all and I really feel bad for those who wrote bad reviews as it doesn't seem like he cared that his patients paid all that money and aren't happy with the results and that is the biggest deal for me. His staff are all intelligent smart people but if someone put me in a coolsculpting machine and was not reachable and I'm in severe pain, I would not put up with that lack of professionalism. I'm down 40lbs and now have that perfect hourglass shape I've always wanted. After having cervical cancer in my 40's, numerous surgeries, and three babies I was not happy with the way my body looked. But, I finally was able to wear a two piece in Mexico. Ended up getting so many compliments too! When I began looking for a plastic surgeon, it was very important that previous patients had had amazing results. I was particularly concerned with the location of my tummy tuck incision. Dr. Dahan has great bedside manner. He is the most humble, knowledgeable doctor I've ever met. His staff is always pleasant and helpful. Specifically, Veronica, Ashley, & Genae who made each visit, phone call, and email seamless. Not only were all staff members pleasant, they were informative, as was Dr. Dahan!! The entire office made the process smooth and eased my worries before having a major operation. I had rhinoplasty done by Dr. Dahan. He had done a few of my gfs noses, which theirs came out great but of course, mine was NOT a success. It's been six years and consultation after consultation I'm being told I need a bone graft from my rib to fix his work approx. $16-45k I had returned to his office after a few years to point out the inconsistencies and how my nose literally leans to one side, in which he gloated about his "beautiful work" instead of offering another solution like possible filler or a second procedure. I wish surgeons would be more upfront if the the procedure is too complex for them to take on. Anyways, it's been an insecurity since & has really taken a toll on my confidence to the point that even after six years, I feel the need to get it off my chest and write a Yelp review. Dr. Dahan, although nice and accomplished goals with other patients, sad to say that was not my case. Hello, I was a patient for Rhinoplasty for Dr. Dahan back in 2018. And while I did write a great review then , let me explain why I lowered my rating. My nose looked it's absolute best after the swelling, and hence the great review. As time went on (perhaps a year) I noticed that there is a dent on the left top part of my bridge. Additionally, he did NOT align my nose to the best of his ability. My nose is CROOKED. I did in fact being this up to him after my second post Op, and he said "I wanted to align the tip of your nose with the middle of your chin" and for that , my nose is 100% crooked and I have two absolutely different side profiles. I can not stand it and I will be getting a botched surgery next year to correct it. Now mind you, I do love my results but the different profiles are awful and it's something I deal with often in photos, videos, and just self awareness. But the WORST part , was he left a stitch in my nose ! It looked like a black dot so I always thought it was a nose hair, however it would swell and leave a small noticeable bump in my nostril. This year in fact ( 4 years it has been there) I was able to pull it out. It was very painful. Thankfully the bump is now gone, but how does a professional forget a very noticeable stitch? I started off with a bad experience from the beginning. I would call the office and request a call back or an email back pertaining to something and would NEVER hear. In fact I called requesting to see before and after photos of the procedure I was interested in getting done. I called SIX times. All times I was promised that I would have these photos sent to me and not once did I get them. I was finally showed one picture when I went in for my PAID consultation. The entire point was to save the consultation money if the photos weren't up to par with what I was wanting. Anyways, show up to my consult, lobby staff there is never the friendliest but after meeting with the doctor, I was in love. He is the NICEST guy ever. Very sweet, cracks jokes, very attentive. His personality is the reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. I let him know I'm in search of chin lipo with DRAMATIC results. He told me he could give me that. He said he would remove the chin and neck fat and give me a defined shape around my jaw. He even talked me into another $1,000 procedure to tighten any loose skin. That is called thermitight. I agreed because as I said before I want the most dramatic results. The consult made me feel great and they really did give me an awesome price so I felt ready to go through with it. I did the surgery. Felt great. Was very excited. My results seem to already look good the next morning after even though I was incredibly swollen. Now here we are three months later, chin lipo is supossed to be fully healed and the thermitight procedure should be showing its final result. I LOOK THE SAME!!!!!!! I'll give it to him, he did warn me that 100% removal of the fat is impossible but he would get as much as possible. I was expecting my chin to look 80% better ESPECIALLY because I opted for the other procedure on top of it. But nope, I look 10% maybe 20% better and that's pushing it. For the thousands I wasted, I am extremely disappointed. In fact, I have opted to never do an elective cosmetic procedure again because of how turned off I am from it now. I had a breast augmentation yesterday with Dr. Dahan and I am so incredibly pleased with the results thus far! I was in very little pain the day after (mostly just soreness and tightness), but did take one day of my pain killers. On the second day (today) I've only been taking Tylenol and I feel fabulous! I appreciate the anti-nausea patch, which was placed near the back of my ear before surgery, and find that was (and is) a tremendous help (I have not once been nauseous). I cannot say express how much I've enjoyed my experience and loved the results that have followed with Dr Dahan and his team. I previously had work done in 2021 from a prior surgeon that ended up needing to be redone. I had been recommended to go to Dr Dahans office by multiple people who had great success stories with their procedures. His staff has been wonderful from the moment I walked in to almost 9 months later for my final post op. Dr Dahan not only took his time with my consultation but with my procedure that needed a lot of reconstruction work. He took out my remaining implant and we put in two new implants in my buttock area. I have always been insecure with my body and I have never felt more confident. Minimal pain from the surgery and everything has healed beautifully. I will be returning to him for my breast augmentation that was also done in 2021 from a different surgeon. I interviewed the three highest-rated plastic surgeons (word of mouth and online) in Reno NV regarding the removal of excess skin from having lost 120 pounds 11 years ago. The areas of concern were my upper arms, breasts, buttocks, and inner thighs. I did not mention to any of those I interviewed that for years I worked in a plastic surgeon's office and participated in many operating room procedures, so am very familiar with how things are done. My interview with Dr. Dahan was by far the most impressive regarding the scope of work that I desired. The plan he put forth was efficient, sensible, and detailed. He suggested a couple of things that I hadn't considered which worked out well. The results of my breast lift, inner thigh liposuction and lift, buttock lift, and removal of my upper arm "wings" delight me. DO NOT SEE DR. DAHAN. The first red flag should have been that he did not use gloves during my daughter's consultation while he touched her body. I found it very disturbing, he also did not wash his hands before or after examining the area. When surgery day came, I told the office I would be right outside in my truck working since they did not have WiFi. Hours went by and I started to see the staff leave as it was approaching the end of the day. It concerned me but I waited a few more minutes thinking someone should call me soon and tell me how she's doing. I got out of my car, locked up and went to the door and it was locked and the lights were turned off. I grew so very concerned and called the office quite a few times and I can see their phone just ring and ring with nobody picking up. On the other side of the building they have a Medspa and I knocked and knocked and knocked on the door and finally a woman comes out and unlocks it and I told her that my daughter is having surgery and there's nobody in the office. She let me in and i went around back to get back into Dahan's office. I decided to check every room imaginable and could not find her. I called my daughter's partner who came down to help me look for her and we both scoured the office trying to find where she was yelling her name. We finally found one back room that's locked and started to bang on the door and the doctor comes out and says what is going on? We both told him you tell us what's going on your whole staff left and locked up the office while you have my daughter in surgery. This whole situation did not feel right and nor was it right. He was just finishing up surgery. He came out and apologized but I continue to tell him that this was just very very very wrong. Not to have access to your daughter during her surgery through his staff was very wrong. This doctor also will not listen to anything you have to say. When my daughter was in the office for a follow up visit to check out the outcome of the surgery, the Dr. asked " Are you happy with your surgery results?" My daughter responds with a No, it was not. The doctor proceeds to voice note his computer system saying that "the patient is very happy with her results" when that's the opposite of what she said to him. This is a Doctor Who is clearly a narcissist and each time my daughter told the doctor of her concerns the Dr. kept saying just wait, it will look great and it never did. This has taken me 3 years to write this because in our household we could never mention his name because we would feel such an ill feeling of the entire experience and how wrong it was. This event took place Nov 2019 and have felt all this time we needed to let others know but now have had the healing to let it go and we needed to write this to close the chapter. After years of moving from state to state for my husband's job, along with me having a new position every year in the medical field, the stress took its toll. My face showed lines around the eyes and sagging in the cheek and neck areas. I could not believe how much I had aged in 5 short years. I came in to see Shelley for Botox about a week ago in prep for my 25th birthday trip and it was a great experience. I've been getting Botox for the last 5 years and worked in a med spa so I know my stuff and we joked about how I have "gotten around" with a lot of injectors in town treating me. I think this made her a little nervous knowing I'm a vet and have had the good, bad, and ugly, but she did awesome nonetheless! She was super knowledgeable and made sure all my questions had been answered before and after treatment, asked about little random things to distract me during injections, and was just amazing. The only downside is that I did bruise a bit for the first time ever; but, we did go a little more intense (40 units instead of my normal 30-35) than my pervious treatments. Overall, Shelley made the treatment amazing with her bedside manner and attentiveness as well as little things like joking with me about my experience and aging fears of being the "gay version of 90". I will make the 45 minute trek from my office/house to be treated by Shelley again. read more

I had a breast aug done and the scaring is horrible. My chest is fuller but I am completely embarrassed at how my breast look. I used every cream and antiscar product to no avail. I went in and had him do a procedure (which was an additional cost) where he removed the scar tissue and it still looks the same. He showed up late and used a small black roll of tape to trace to make the circle for my aerola. I have spent over 10k on my chest and they look horrible. Him and his staff are very friendly but I am not satisfied with my procedures and I would not recommend him. He is too busy with higher priority clients. read more

The phrase that comes to mind when thinking of Dr. Phillip Dahan and his facility and staff is..... FIRST CLASS!!!!! From the moment I got the referral from multiple people in my Plastic Surgery Support Facebook group to the first phone call not with Dr. Dahan but just from him staff to schedule my virtual consult it was first class all the way. I am located in California and wasn't planning to travel for my surgeries, however when I heard how wonderful he and his staff were, I had to check it out (luckily I have a best friend that lived close by). We began our consult with me sending a few secured photos and details of what I was looking for, which originally was just a breast reduction and lift. After our conversation continued and I was blown away at the fact that he could list my stats just by looking at my photos I sent, I realized I wanted to have much more done for my health as well as vanity. He was thorough and sensitive to my concerns and questions and after we discussed each and every detail in this conversation, I decided on having a full Tummy Tuck, Muscle Repair, Hernia Repair and Lipo to the hips and flanks. I actually left my breasts as they are - in hindsight it's funny because now that everything else is much smaller, I get asked if i got my breasts done anyway LOL. I was beyond excited and after receiving what I found as a very reasonable cost, I placed my deposit and set my date. I could never have expected to receive the experience or the results I got as it has been for lack of a better word, AMAZING!!!!!! I was able to come in for pre op and meet everyone 1 week prior to the surgery which was wonderful. The staff in Dr. Dahans office are amazing and personable and kind. They are always available and ready to answer any questions you have or get your in touch directly with Dr. Dahan if needed. From the moment I arrived on the day of my surgery I was an anxious mess. I was shown to my room where I got undressed and set up with an IV for fluids. I never once sat alone for too long, I always had someone checking on me or making sure I was comfortable as I waited for my surgery time. Dr. Dahan was there to answer any questions and make sure I was comfortable before they wheeled me in. My surgery was a HUGE success to say the least, and after coming out and coming to I was able to get up and go home which was great! Dr. Dahan followed up with me (& my friend) that evening to make sure I was doing okay. I had a 1 day post op and 1 week post op appointment before I drove back to California. I am now 7.5 weeks post op and just saw Dr. Dahan for my 6 week appt. I can't stop looking at my stomach. I looked like I was about at least 6 months pregnant with twins due to my Diastasis Recti and separation of my muscles at 3.5" so when I look now and see a flat stomach, curved sides that I never in a million years could have hoped for as I am an athletic build and to no longer see a bulge coming out of my belly button from my hernia, honestly I cry every time still. Dr. Dahan gave me something that I didn't know I was missing as I have a loving husband and wonderful supportive family. CONFIDENCE! - I always felt good about myself but when you sit down and throw your jacket over your stomach because you still look pregnant even though you are not, it means the WORLD to not have to do that anymore. I was a patient there, but have since left. I had implants done by Dahan and he made them different sizes (awkward and noticeable) and then they leaked. Madison in their office is horrible. She was not compassionate at all and didn't return my phone calls. I went somewhere else to have my implants removed and corrected. I also had Juvederm injections from Esther that left a small scar above my lip (it's been 5 years and the scar still there... permanent). Although Dr. Dahan is very nice, as a person, I'm sorry that I cannot recommend Dr. Dahan's practice for procedures. read more

If I had to do it again, Dr. Dahan and team WOULD BE MY FIRST CHOICE AND MY ONLY CHOICE!!!! I've struggled with feeling comfortable in my own skin for almost 38 years. I have always been a fairly small chested woman. I was made fun of A LOT as a kid which lead to adult insecurities. Heck, I have been married for 3+ years and still didn't like my husband looking at my breasts (even though he has seen them and says that he was fine with the size)...I wasn't fine. My sister moved to Reno about 4 years back, she quit smoking and then she herself had breast augmentation surgery. If you didn't know her before, you can't even tell that she had anything done...they look and feel so natural. This was one of the main reasons I chose Dr. Dahan and team to complete my breast augmentation. I knew what I didn't want. I didn't want to look like a porn star, I didn't want to look like I had any work done. I didn't want it to look obvious. I called into Dr. Dahan's office and worked with Ashley S. to set up my consult appointment. ...I scheduled my consult, then I thought more about it and reached out to find out what day would be next for surgery and since it was a month out, I booked my appointment before even meeting the doctor. Yes, I did have to pay $500.00 to hold the day but that was told to me upfront - no surprises. Ashley then told me I would need to call over to Renown South Medical Center to get my pre-op stuff scheduled for the same day as my consult. (Because I am out of state and about 2 hours away). A few weeks later, I went and did my pre-op stuff (super easy some light weight paperwork and a blood test). Then, I went to Dr. Dahan's beautiful office located in Reno, NV. I was taken back for some before pictures, then we did some paperwork and then I met with Dr. Dahan to discuss all the different options I had, silicon, saline, textured, round, warranties etc. I was given a sports bra and then he started giving me different sizers to put in place so that I could determine the size that would fit my body. I made the personal decision of 540 cc moderate profile sientra silicone implants. I chose these implants after the doctor explained how the company has been doing great things AND they come with a 20-year warranty + $5,000.00 if anything should happen to them. I felt totally comfortable with the entire office staff and the doctor and my choice which, to me is super important when making a decision like this. I paid for my procedure (which wasn't exuberantly expensive) and on my way I go...for a few weeks...till surgery. (and yes, the $500.00 I paid to hold the date was credited back to the total cost of surgery). I get to surgery day...and I am not nervous or anything. I check into the hospital where the staff there was simply OUTSTANDING. I met with the anesthesiologist who was FANTASTIC and a little while later, Dr. Dahan came in to see me and answer any questions that I had prior to surgery. He also informed me that in addition to the 540 cc implants, he did bring in 2 other sizes (just in case)...that's really thinking ahead. I told him that I instilled my trust into him, I wanted to look proportionate and to use his expertise. A short while later, I am taken back to surgery and then I wake up in recovery. I was in recovery for a while and then was discharged to go home. I met with Dr. Dahan a few days later. I called his office urgently as I had a blister form on my right breast and didn't know what caused it. Dr. Dahan met me at his office on a Sunday. Yeah, that's right...on a Sunday. I don't know too many doctors that would do that. Dr. Dahan explained to me that the blister was caused by my skin being stretched. He examined me, answered any / all questions I had and then I was on my way. Recovery for me, wasn't too bad. I was off all pain killers by the 3rd day. By the 2nd day, I was doing dishes at my sisters house. It's been 15 days since my procedure and my breasts look AMAZING and I know they are only going to continue to look better after I fully heal. I came back to work and had co-workers tell me "OH MY GOD, THEY LOOK SO NATURAL". I have seen some friends that I have had for 20 years and they themselves are impressed. I honestly couldn't be happier that I finally made the decision and that I chose Dr. Dahan and his magic hands to do the work. Dr. Dahan (sorry I broke your award (I still feel bad for that)) but I sincerely thank you and your staff from the bottom of my heart. I have walked this earth for almost 38 years feeling uncomfortable in my own skin, I felt like I wasn't complete and in one hour, you have taken away all that ugliness. I finally feel like a lady and a thank you just doesn't do justice to how you have made me feel. If you are in the market to have elective surgery done, I definitely would recommend Dr. Dahan and his team. Dr. Dahan and his staff made my daughter comfortable and helped change her life. As a 21 year old with breasts that were at least an E cup she has not been able to wear clothes or bathing suits that didn't make her feel old and frumpy. This year she bought a bathing suit and cant wait to go to the lake. Thank you Dr. Dahan for putting a smile on my girls face. First I want to start of by saying thank you and what a wonderful job the doctor and his whole team did. They make you feel at home and everyone is very sweet with smiles on their faces and they make it feel like a friendly environment. I regret that I delayed my review almost 1 1/2 years later, but, maybe a year post surgery is more valuable as most reviewers post soon after surgery. I visited Dr. Phillip Dahan's office approximately a year and half ago for reconstructive breast surgery after cancer. Also, I decided to discuss a facelift, eyelift, liposculpture of the neck and chin. I was exhausted and aged after the cancer ordeal. Prior to meeting with Dr. Dahan, I reviewed the credentials of several plastic surgeons in Reno, NV and also visited with two other surgeons prior to scheduling an appointment with Dr, Dahan. After meeting with Dr. Dahan, I decided to schedule the Refreshlift and the other procedures noted above. Other Reno, physicians i reviewed seemed less qualified and not have the credentials and/or artistic sense. Through the entire process, Dr. Dahan was extremely expert, caring, knowledgeable and fun. His team is professional, efficient and empathetic. I was more than pleased with the outcome of the Refreshlift and breast implants and lift. Dr. Dahan is a superb surgeon and has earned my highest recommendation not only for the immediate lovely results but, more importantly, for the way I look a year and a half later.
