He did ask a few questions, but in a humoring me kind of way. He never addressed me by my name. The entire visit took less than 10 minutes. He basically told me I had to live with my knee pain forever. He suggested a few rounds of therapy and had a mocking expression on his face the entire time. The staff was wonderful but he was rude and cold. He didn't even say goodbye when he left the exam room. Terrible experience.

The pathway to the office is crutch friendly as I discovered. Dr Raynor's staff is friendly, fast and effective. I was on the examination table in no time. The X ray was done quickly and Dr Raynor's evaluation was thorough. On the next visit to give me the MRI results, all of the options, treatment suggestions and plans were expertly provided. I really appreciated a copy of the MRI report to read and reread. This organization is the best professionals to see with an injury. After explaining my symptoms he had a pretty good idea what was wrong with me, and after an MRI his suspicions were correct that I had a stress fracture. It was such a relief to find out what was wrong with me, as I previously thought I had a muscle strain. Dr. Raynor's staff is also really nice and always concerned about my well-being. I really like the system of pre-visit online check-in at Texas Orthopedic Associates, so you don't have to spend each appointment filling out paperwork and you can actually get to your appointment on time. The only negative is sometimes it was hard to get an appointment that works with my schedule. Dr. Raynor is well in demand, and I completely understand why.

Not a place for sick people! PA-Cs run the place and don't know what they are doing. I've had to…read moreconstantly question protocol and it's changed, and they absolutely have NO CLUE about caring for elderly people. They throw an untenable heavy walking boot at her and tell her not to come back for 6 weeks, and I can't even manage the boot myself. They won't give MRIs, and then get angry and push back when requesting one, but don't know what they are diagnosing, can't properly put the fut in plantarflexion instead of dorsiflexion for Achilles tear, and they can't be bothered to do what's right. The worst of all is the black receptionist that takes reservations for existing patients. I've called the practice manager 5 hrs ago and waiting for a call. The only shining light here is Dr. Reitman, great doctor, but he has no time to see his patients, even when we are promised he will drop by. We won't be coming back and can't recommend this place! Go ANYWHERE ELSE! The black doctor that was on call last Saturday is dangerous, reprimanding me for requesting MRI for unknown Achilles injury, they have her at 90 degree boot, no image other than x-Ray on a 98 yr old with no calcium, osteoporosis and then took letrozole for a year, and they full her ankle and throw a boot at her and send her home. He argues that he would do surgery if it were ruptured, as I kept saying over and over, interrtupting him to say, "NOT ON A 98 YEAR OLD YOU DON'T!", and trying to tell me the care is not different for a tear vs. tendonitis. Then, got arrogant and said do what you want, if you want a heal lift, give her a heal life, if you want an MRI, I'll give you an MRI, no help at all, just compromised medical advice and bad attitude. These people aren't properly trained, they're arrogant, and dangerous!

And I just stop going because I didn't want to be down so long 4 to 8 weeks off and I couldn't afford to be off work with know way to pay my bills! I put it in Gods hands because I needed the surgery are I wouldn't be able to continue working in the future!! I went back and once cleared !! I had the surgery which took hours to fix my leg! Everything went great!!! I love it there!! Everyone is very nice and understanding! I asked a lot of question of them !! Many many days !! They had know problems repeated everything I asked until I fully understood!! And they helped me through it all !! I had surgery September 24th !! I'm alive and doing as good to be expected!!! I was out of town for most of the month of March but we were going to schedule surgery for early April and they wanted me to get blood work done upon my return. I received a garbled message from physician's assistant so I called back to check on status of surgery and next steps but my call went voice more than 4 times without a return call. I did receive a call back once while I was going through customs and could not pick up. But again voicemail message not clear. I then found out from my insurance company that the surgery was denied because the insurance company wanted me to try physical therapy first, which I will do. But again no direction from this office to move forward with PT. I am deeply concerned about the lack of communication from this office. If they did not want to take on my case, they could've had the courtesy to reach me again as I left several messages with them. I should not assume that they do not want to treat me. I know doctors' offices get busy, but lack of communication is no excuse. I chose this clinic because I tore my ACL over 25 years ago in a skiing tumble, and the surgeon I saw at this clinic encouraged me to exercise it and build my up my knee strength, which I did. He said I was coping well without the ACL and I had no instability. He advised me not to have surgery, but recommended to ski with a knee brace, which I have been doing since then. However, this torn meniscus is a bear and impacts any movement with pivoting. Not sure I will be able to ski again. I hope the lack of communication from this clinic is not happening with other potential patients and I am saddened that we could not move forward.
