While the doctor was nice, she didn't do an EKG on me after I had told her I didn't have a physical in over 5 years and I'm over 40. I'm not sure that this is common. It's also nearly impossible to communicate with the office itself. I use the patient portal and several business days pass without anyone answering me. The doctor apparently replied to my message and I never received a notification from the portal itself. If the nurse hadn't called me, I would've never known. I'm going to give them one more chance, otherwise I'm moving practices. Office experience was a D- and quality of care is lukewarm C+.

He's young and seems quite intelligent. I'm glad to call him my primary care doctor now. I'm in GOOD hands!!!!!!!!!! And guess what he never said I was morbidly obese. My weight when I got on the scale there was 265 lbs. At one point I was at 289 lbs. So not too bad. They also did bloodwork while I was in the office. I wasn't made to go to a lab to do it....which was another plus. All in all I'd give the doctor: ********** = a 10 star rating . I asked for her when he was hospitalized this year, and thankfully someone told me she was now in private practice. She has been a godsend. She is helping my dad have a peaceful death, and teaching us how to accept it and help him transition. She prescribed medication that eased his suffering, and coordinated his hospice team. One of the most thoughtful and compassionate doctors I have ever met, and I am thankful we have her to help us through this period.

But once I needed moral support, understanding, and gentle care, forget it. She is condescending, old fashioned to the point of paranoia, as in, not open to any suggestions or what you see your needs are, narrow-minded and in the end it she was being I felt really rude, to me. Awfully uncomfortable. I am NEVER EVER going back. I prefer to suffer anxiety occasionally than to be in front of someone with such little feelings for us the patients. We are not a number, we are a person with feelings. I understand that the world is full of drug problems, but some of us are just regular people, who need occasional help, for occasional general anxiety. I will go back to homeopathic medicines before I am encountered one more time but the ruthlessness and coldness of some Western medicine doctors. I anyone knows a good, nice, caring doctor please let me know. (Oh, and by the way, I have been going to this office for more than 19 years, and because of COVID I didn't go back in 3 years, I don't have insurance and they charged $290 because they said "I was a new patient" - very frustrating.
