He always made time to chit chat and took time to explain everything that was happening to me in simple terms that I could understand. He always made my mom and I laugh from the beginning of the appointment until the end. He delivered 3 of my children and I am so thankful to have had him as my doctor. My son will be 31 in 6 months and Dr. Balis is such an amazing doctor that even after all this time I still remember his name and how he took time to make a scared and confused 14 year old be a little less scared. He takes time to answer my questions and I have never felt rushed by him. He has quite a sense of humor but can be very serious when it is called for. I have had many doctors over the years that I have really liked, but Dr. Balis is definitely my doctor soulmate.

The staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable with all the questions we had for them. The clinic was very clean and it had plenty of room for seating. I was happy that the doctor listened to us unlike most doctors out there. She made us feel like we weren't another number and was very patient with all our questions.. I highly recommend Good Samaritan for anyone that doesn't have health insurance. We are so happy to find a new doctor and look forward to a healthier lifestyle.
