After three visits--one lasting 30 minutes and two lasting 15 minutes--I have incurred charges totaling $400, despite discussing the same two issues each time, with the only difference being an allergic reaction. I am disappointed by the lack of progress and feel as though the focus is more on financial gain than on patient care. Given the amount I have spent without seeing results, I would suggest exploring other resources for better guidance. I hope this feedback proves useful for others.

I appreciate her professionalism and how at ease she makes me feel with her cheerful and personable demeanor. She always takes the time to listen and advise me of the best treatment plan. Her nurse is also very professional and has a very calming attitude. She is intuitive in her manner of assisting the doctor with instruments or supplies before the doctor asks. She diagnosed me as hypothyroid without bothering to do the appropriate testing and put me on…read moremedication that caused me to have a great deal of horrible side effects. I stopped taking the medication due to the side effects and the fact that I had felt fine before she put me on the medicine. I went back to her after I found out that it can give you heart problems if you do not take medicine to regulate your thyroid if it is unbalanced. She only ever told me that it would make me gain weight if I didn't take medicine, by the way. She did another blood test after I told her the effect the medicine had on me and even though my thyroid levels were within the acceptable levels and I had not been on medication for months she still prescribed me another thyroid medicine and told me to come back in 4 months to adjust my dosage. I took the new medicine, felt worse than before, and went to another doctor for a second opinion. The new doctor got a copy of the blood tests that she did and told me that I am not hypothyroid and never was. She even showed me a copy of my blood tests that read they were all within the acceptable levels. Even the half assed bare minimum testing that Dr. Phillips determined I was hypothyroid from, was normal. Avoid this doctor like the plague unless you want rushed, irresponsible, bare minimum care that you wait ridiculous amounts of time to see her for.
