This year with Covid, everyone wore masks and did a great job keeping everyone socially distanced while waiting for the trees, paying, loading the trees on the car etc. They really have the logistics down to a science here and the staff is always friendly! Most years there is a small table set up for cookies and hot cocoa, apple cider but it's understandable that they didn't do it this year. Our kids always have such great fun picking out our tree. The trees last several months and look great. If you want to pick out your trees but don't want to leave the city, this is a great option for city dwellers! I highly recommend Philly Christmas trees. There are several locations but our go to spot is in Fairmount!

It was 1 of 3 options listed without having to drive around searching or driving too far. The space where they are on Front street is a small space compared to other tree selling places I've been to in the past. However, they had a nice selection. My only concern was that their prices were considerably high compared to what I am used to. I have never paid $150 plus tax for an 8' tree. And I have been buying them for years to compliment our tall ceilings. I asked about delivery and that was an addl $199. Wow! So I took my tree with me. As I was too lazy to drive to another part of town 30 minutes away to see if they had just as good or better trees for a lesser price, I went ahead and purchased a tree. She is really beautiful, but overly priced for what I am used to from other places that are just as good. There was only one person working and he was really kind and helpful. So, they do have good customer service. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning there next year unless I can't find what I want elsewhere.

They are really careful about cleaning up any messes and unwrap the tree and put water in the stand, too. They have so many flowers and shrubs - I wasn't able to resist getting a beautiful hibiscus plant that reminded me of my Caribbean childhood. The staff was extremely knowledgeable - helped me plan my containers in such a way as to prevent overcrowding, helped me with soil selection and volume and the specifics of caring for my hibiscus. About half an hour from Cherry Hill, the farm was easy to find with signage along the way. Once on the farm, the trees and service is located all the way in the back, there is plenty of parking. The farm provides a map that outlines the different types of trees and where to find them. The selection is great, they have everything from small ones to 18 foot trees. Once you find your tree, you bring your tag to the register and pay. The farmers then go cut your tree and load it on your car while you sit fireside and enjoy complementary cookies and hot chocolate. That's not a minor quality issue - that's outright unacceptable for produce being sold for consumption. At that price point, it would have been more cost-effective to buy fewer, higher-quality containers at Whole Foods rather than four unusable ones Overall, the produce quality is extremely poor and freshness seems like an afterthought.
