Family owned. Best hidden spot for seasonal stuff. Great service, good selection. It's not where you will find something you have never seen before, but they have the staples at good prices. You should absolutely stop here before hitting the big box or grocery chains. This is the best place in the area for Christmas trees, bar none. Support local, family-owned businesses. read more

We all need beautiful plants, flowers, and people in our lives and that is what you get at Taddeo's! We walked in after work and they had the most amazing pansies ever! Now it is still early for the greenhouse to be full of flowers but Taddeo's is definitely working hard for our community to get them too us! In addition, they make their own potting soil that we bought for $9.00, and we know that it is the best because they have the most beautiful flowers and plants! We were told to come back before Easter for a variety of reasons including lilies, geraniums, roses etc...they have served our community for generations and they will continue to be our favorite Greenhouse! read more

I actually only really buy house plants as I am not a homeowner yet. If any house plant enthusiasts are interested please keep reading: In terms of those I did see some beautiful golden pothos, satin pothos, fiddle leaf fig, huge heart leaf philodendrons, and a snake plant. The pothos and philodendrons were very well kept. They had very large leaves and looked like they were thriving in the green houses. They were reasonably priced at $16 for a smaller basket and $20 for a larger one. I picked up a heart leaf philodendron, which is currently in a mini quarantine in my apartment. I love the plant, it's is gorgeously hanging in my bedroom :) read more

This review is a little late,(October-ish) but still needs to be finished. With that said let us start off with the owner of this fine place is amazing. Miss Bunny (yes that is her name) went above and beyond to help me out when other places were closed. I went to work earlier in the day for some overtime , figuring I would get out in time to get a beautiful arrangement for my mother for her birthday the next day. I had taken a chance and figure to call her store in hopes of an answer even when the hours stated 6pm store is closed. She (Miss Bunny) answered her phone even though they have been closed for a good five minuets , with out any kind of sigh of grief . I was in ecstatic that she answered, she wasn't upset at the fact I had called when they were closed, but told me when I arrive knock on her door and she would open the shop up for me. Miss Bunny helped me pick out different arrangements for my mom, also gave me some information if I think my mom would want plants year round these were the ones to get. She even sold me a bundle package buy 3 for $10.00, and with the yearly flowers she gave me a great deal , buy 1 and the second of my choice will be free. She helped me out, I even tried to give some extra cash for reopening her shop for me, but she wouldn't accept it. There are still some truly great people out there when you find who they are you don't want to forget about them. Now who ever asks me where to get a plants/flowers from I will refer them to this spot. read more

Came here last year and got several nice grace blankets. This year, the choices were slimmer and not as tastefully decorated. Last year, seasonal bows and pine cones. This year, plastic red and white roses. When I indicated that I did not like the flowers there was no offer to change them out. Last year he offered to help me get them to my car-this year, no. I bought what was least offensive and changed out the parts I didn't like myself. I would like to support small business but I do expect better service than the fly-by-night places that show up in water ice vendor parking lots. read more

The lovely wife is a huge gardener and is well known in the area for her expertise. As we live just a few tenths of a mile from here, we've visited a few times. This is a small operation so you won't find the variety that you would at a giant garden center like Mostardi's Nursery. However, what you will find is great quality and much more personal service. It's a great place to stop by from time to time to check for interesting "specimen" plants. Expect the prices to be competitive for the quality of plants that you purchase. read more

Taddeo's saved me !!....I was looking for a florist to send a hanging basket (not cut flowers) same day or next day to my daughter and husband for their anniversary and as I live in NJ I was having problems with delivery and no flower shop sells hanging baskets, I thought, "I remember Taddeos from the years I lived in Havertown, let me give em a call"....Well, they must be guided by angels because there they were ready willing and able to DELIVER THE NEXT DAY a beautiful hanging basket for me at a reasonable price and the dear lady on the phone was so kind and so understanding that I cried after I got off the phone because I was so relieved and for the fact that I was treated with kindness and a personal feeling of "home". I have been getting annuals and perennials from Taddeo's for the past 18 years. They have great quality plants and better prices than the greenhouse down the road a half mile. The staff have always been very helpful and offer to take plants to car. Which brings up another perk, there is plenty of parking! My mom turned me on to this gem across from the St. Dennis cemetery & we often go together. She is now using a walker and the staff could not be more accommodating and helpful to her. Fast and friendly service! We were looking for an easy holiday tree buying experience, and Taddeo's answered! It was our first time shopping here, and a quick search on yelp led us here about 15 minutes before closing. They had a small lot lined with a cozy selection of small to medium (approx. 4ft-7ft tall) size tress, fresh and healthy looking. We were looking for about 5 minutes on our own, having trouble deciding since some were still bound, when a nice employee strolled up and asked if we wanted a tree. He offered to unwrap any that we were interested in. They had Fraziers and I think the other ones were Douglas. The first one we looked at was nice and full but a bit large for our space, so the employee immediately helped us find a smaller one that was around 5ft. We got a small Frazier and the employee offered to take it to our car for us. Then we paid the cashier in the store. The trees start at $60 (before tax) and can go up. Just note, they don't have a saw to trim the bottoms for you. They take cash or card. read more

While they cannot compete with high-end garden centers like Mostardi's or Waterloo, Taddeos has a broad selection of hard to find annuals and heirloom tomatoes. They do offer a very limited selection of shrubs and perennials. If you love Dahlias, this is the place for you. They do sell their own potting soil at $5 per bag but they do not have any organic soil amendments. I was disappointed not to see more varieties of basil (they had standard large leaf sweet basil). If you're looking for a splash of color and would like more of a selection than Home Depot, you will not be disappointed. read more

Amazing help and prices. I came in after they'd closed, accidentally. A woman asked if I needed any help from next door, and a gentleman came over soon after to help me. He was knowledgeable, laid-back, generous, and efficient. The plants were all really robust looking -- he helped select the best, but they were all beautiful. It was a perfect, completely charming experience. The best trip to a greenhouse since several years ago in Austin. The greenhouse was relatively small, but they had what I wanted -- so like other reviewers have said, I think they manage to have a good selection without the sprawling supermarket-style setup. read more
