Not funny! Great waitstaff but comedians not at all funny. Total let down. Agree with others that the seating is makeshift and awkward.

I read a couple of other reviews noting that service was chaotic and that was certainly my experience. After we were seated, it took a while for the waitress to come by. The table next to us told us that they had been waiting 45 minutes for the waitress take their order. It seems like we were placed in an area that was forgotten by the staff. Anyway after we placed our order and got our food & drinks, we never saw our waitress again. She came by at the end to give us the bill but didn't check on us for the entire show. We didn't even get a chance to order our second drink as part of the 2 drink minimum since she never gave us the opportunity lol thankfully there was no fee! For food we split the chicken tenders and fries ($24). Pretty expensive but surprisingly a decent portion with 6 chicken strips. Not to the fault of the venue but there was an incredibly rude and disruptive group behind us which was distracting to the show and really took away from the experience. It was disappointing that staff didn't do anything to intervene and tell her to be quiet. She was talking the whole time and her phone rang twice during the show!! Overall I'd probably come back for another show and mostly enjoyed my time. But at the same time I'm wary after the semi chaotic experience

My daughter and I went to a comedy show one January 22nd and main comedian was Brad Ttackman and he had two openers. Service was up to par. The comedians were fantastic. I haven't laughed so much that my cheeks hurt. What great performance. Drinks were delicious and we ordered the loaded French fries. They were delicious.

I arrived 30 minutes before show start and the Will Call line moved rather quickly. The line to get into the showroom was longer than Will Call. I purchased reserved seating and once I got inside, one of the attendants walked us to our seats. There's a two item minimum per person in the showroom, but it doesn't matter what you buy. The waiters walk around periodically to ask what you'd like to order and bring your check closer to the end of the show. We went to see Vinny Guadagnino and he was hilarious. His two openers were awesome as well. There's a parking garage right next door and also a good amount of metered street parking nearby, too.

The entry process checks your ID and you get a pat down, then you go to get your tickets. There is a small bar area beyond that next to the show room lounge. As to the lounge, the front area has lower seats slightly more comfortable. The back sections all have high top hard chairs that get uncomfortable sitting on for long. Food and drink options are not good price to quality ratio. Mostly seem like microwaveable or frozen fried things. Staff seemed nice enough and quick to help. There are some good features and acts here though which makes up for that, though it could be a better experience for the patrons if they improved some of the seating or menu options. Thanks

Grateful doesn't even begin to cover it. I had an amazing…read morefirst time experience at the Filmore. It's been a long time since I've been to a concert, and what I experienced at Tash Sultana's show was unlike anything I've ever witnessed before. Drums. Guitar. Saxophone. Flute. Bells and sooo much more. Vocals that soared from whispers to powerful crescendos. Every instrument seemed like an extension of Tash, and every note felt intentional. People often say music is healing, music is therapy, music is universal. Last night, I felt that. Not just heard it--felt it. The audience wasn't there just to watch a performance. We were there to witness artistry. To share a moment of connection through rhythm, sound, and frequency. For a few hours, strangers were a community united by music/frequency. The team at the Fillmore made the experience even better. From security and "Jay" at coat/merch check, "Meghan" Guest Services, "Bob" food & beverage service (Card Only). I enjoyed my "Vegan" Burger and the refreshing Wildberry beverage in a commemorative Filmore cup. Thank you for the recommendation, Blithe. "Steve" provided kind seating assistance upstairs. Everyone we encountered was welcoming and helpful. Those small acts of kindness matter and should be acknowledged and are very much appreciated. And to Tash--thank you. Thank you for sharing your gifts so generously. Thank you for creating a space where people could simply be present, breathe, feel, and reconnect with themselves. I've traveled through a lot in life, but last night reminded me why "live music matters". Some concerts entertain you. Some concerts remind you who you are. Somewhere along the way, my son and I became known as "the cake people." If you know, you know. If you haven't experienced Tash Sultana yet, do yourself a favor: Tune in. Thank you again Filmore for hosting this memorable experience.

GA shows are not easy to attend because chances are, you will run into a more rowdier crowd. Here is how I prepared myself the day of to ease some of my anxiety: - Go early to secure a good spot to stand at. - Drink lots of water before going. You don't want to lose your space by going to the restroom. Expect to stand for 4+ hours. - Eat a good meal, you don't want to faint. - Wear comfortable shoes. We left on a Friday night from New Jersey to Philly during rush hour in mad traffic. Got to the venue 20 minutes before the show started and I was so surprised to get a spot in the first row in front of the stage. I was like...no wayyyy!!! Acoustic here transmitted pitch perfectly. My videos do not do it justice. The sound was incredible. I think I danced every second of every moment. We really lucked out with some of the nicest people around us. While dancing at one point, a girl tapped me on the shoulder and said..."you're like the only one dancing and I think that's awesome that you're not afraid to do so". I replied, it's frickin Bob Moses, how can you not dance? Loved that I got to dance with a couple of the wild girls standing near me. Lol. Staff here are extremely friendly. One of the security guards below the stage was nice enough to ask if I wanted any water. There are a few bar areas for alcoholic drinks and small bites. Highly recommend this cool a$$ venue. It was standing room only for this show but seats were available for an extra $200 in the upper mezzanine, first come first serve. Restrooms: clean and plenty of stalls. Note: River Casino across the street offers free parking. We got to grab a bite to eat there afterwards.

A comedy show that encourages/essentially requires drinking? Count. Me. In…read more I had a blast at this show last Saturday night with a couple of friends. We had purchased our $15 tickets separately and on different days, but when we walked in (through Urban Saloon) before the 8 p.m. show, my friends offered their names and then the host/actress turned to me and said, "And let me guess, are you Kathleen *Last-Name*?" I have NO IDEA how she guessed that. There were a ton of people there! Even more interesting: They appeared to know that we were one of the parties that wanted food and we were seated at the (only?) table with three chairs. I don't know if that was just happenstance because we arrived early enough for a table or what, but I definitely recommend trying to snag one of the tables that wrap around the chairs. Why? Well, because Urban offers $6 flights on select beer options (among other affordable full-size beer options) and it's tough to sit on a chair with a flight. Yeah. Six bucks for four little beers. Nuts. And trust me, you're going to want that flight for the roughly hour and a half-long show. The show is a mix of drinking-related skits and interactive bits, like classic drinking games. For the games, they would roam the audience and call on people. It's likely that I looked mortified when they chose me for a "Would You Rather?" question. It involved puppies and grandmothers and other things that I will not type in a review. It's possible that all the beer has made an impact on my five-star rating. I assume this would not seem quite as hilarious while sober. But while slightly tipsy? Hello, Hello, Fun!
