Phil is fantastic! He is thorough, he knows what he's doing, and he's fast! And his prices are completely reasonable. After a few years of house settling, our doors have been having issues. One of them had gotten so bad that the alarm would be triggered by any slight change in pressure, like if the garage door closed. While Phil was here, he fixed the door, tightened all the knobs and door latches, and replace all the locks. I had never realized how difficult it had been to turn the key in our locks. Once Phil was finished, I was amazed at how smooth everything worked--I even asked Phil, "Is this normal for it to be so easy?!" He assured me that yes, that's how it should have worked all along! Our locks and doors work perfectly now, which is WAY better than they ever have even when we first bought the house brand new 8 years ago! I highly recommend Phil's Locksmith! This company was used to re-key my rental property. Something that is easy and takes no time. They ripped me off and charged $195 for the job stating they had to 'Adjust Strike plate(s) - Someone moved the strike plates out of alignment with the door locks' in addition to re-keying the home. The lock was working just fine the day before when I was at the home. Interesting. Do not use them unless you are there to micromanage because they will charge you for repairs you don't need. read more

I heard about Phils's via my real estate agent. I needed a job re-keying the locks on the doors of my home done very quickly. Surprisingly, Phil answered his phone after 9 PM and was able to get a guy to come out to replace the locks the next afternoon. Getting the locks changed took no more than 25 minutes. Exceptional customer service. They were contacted by our property manager later in the afternoon so I didn't expect them to reach out until the following day. Within 45 minutes of the email string with my property manager ending Phil called; it worked out perfectly with timing on both ends so they came out right away. He assessed the lock in question and found my particular lock to be troublesome. He went above and beyond, to put it mildly. He was forced to crawl into that room from a small access point in the ceiling area of the next room over, and had to climb around all of our stuff that sits up in the rafters. All of that to fix a lock. After that lock was taken care of he fixed the other lock on the same door that had been improperly keyed and was inoperable for quite some time. His wife was great as well! Very nice and honest people. It's not every day that you encounter good people like Phil and his wife. read more

Amazing. The most painless and frankly even enjoyable locked out experience ever. Phil was fantastic. He was calm, upbeat, and informative. He is extremely knowledgeable and above all, very good at what he does. I was both disheartened and sort of happy to learn that my home lock is basically unpickable. Did that stop Phil? No way. He puts his mind to the task and never gives up. He replaced my lock and got me back into my house, then continued to devote nearly an hour to making sure that the lock functioned properly - we discovered that the builder installed it incorrectly. He never tired and kept working at it until it was nearly perfect. And he brought his own vacuum to clean up debris from drilling the lock! Phil is meticulous, very intelligent and logical. He really thinks on his feet and goes above and beyond for the customer. Pricing was extremely fair for the enormous amount of energy he devoted to the task.
