Mo is professional, courteous, reasonably priced, and extremely reliable. We were locked out of our home late on a Saturday night and urgently in need of a locksmith. I called one place that supposedly provided emergency service and the phone just rang. Mo was the next locksmith I called and I was relieved he quickly answered the phone. He provided me a quote and said he would be at the house within 30 minutes. Mo arrived within 30 minutes as promised and proceeded to get us back into the house. He returned the following day, at the precise time he said he would, re-keyed four locks, and made us several keys. Absolutely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called them to see if they could open my house and get an estimate on how much it would cost. The guys who answered the phone said they can send a technician out and give me a free estimate after they look at my locks. I clarified that the estimate was free and he said yes and said it would be about 20-30min wait. He failed to mention that there would still be a $64 service call even if I didn't accept the job. Fast Forward... the tech shows up gives me a quote for over $260 and I decline (my husband called and said he was able to be home in 3-4hrs). So he then proceeds to tell me that he's gonna charge me a service fee. NOPE! Not happening... I advised him that I was NOT quoted a service fee and advised him of my conversation with the person who answered the phone. He then proceeded to TELL ME ... that he's gonna do the work and I have to pay him .... WTF??? I told him we don't want his services and he can leave my property. He proceeded to be rude and tell me "next time when customers 'like you' call he'll quote them the service fee". Like me??? It's called Good Customer Service to be upfront with all the fees esp if you're sending someone out. Would not recommend them EVER! read more

Googled locksmith in Elk Grove and the others wanted $180 plus, called this guy he agreed to less than half and was here in twenty minutes, unlocked door in about three. Mo Locksmith did a great job programming a new key fob for my old car. I tried with a different locksmith first but they were unable to program the fob. These are not easy to do but Mo persevered and got it done despite my lack of patience at first. Be patient...he does a good job and came to my residence to do this work. Thank you! read more

Charged almost $300 to Not "program" a car key. The key starts the car but will not unlock/lock the door. Had to pay upfront for services not rendered. Do not recommend this budiness. read more

I went to this shop to purchase copies of keys for visiting family members. First I was charged $8.99 per key when the rate at other LockSmiths is $3.25. The keys were cheap and I should have followed my instinct and not taken them when the nice lady said "if they don't work bring them back". When I got home and put the key in the door it would not come out! I have never had any problem with that lock or keys prior. The technician who came out immediately started blaming the lock and said it wasn't the key. Yet he took the whole lock off and went to his truck for a long time when he also couldn't take the key out. This guy was rude and argumentative and made me very uncomfortable to the point that I asked him to leave my property. Because I took the keys back and didn't trust this business I had my whole house re-keyed. Without telling the REAL locksmith what had happened he said it looks like someone who didn't know what they were doing was in this lock and left chambers (he may have said cylinders) open. Needless to say, I would stay away from this company. While in the store initially, another customer was in there complaining that this same guy had messed up the ignition on his car! Locked out of house...was quoted 79-120 over the phone. They arrived in 10 min but charged 144 for a basic handle unlock not deadbolt, done in 3 minutes. I was happy they arrived quickly but not the increase in price. I didn't argue as I was freezing locked out in my slippers & pjs...I was at their mercy. read more
