I took my grandson for lunchbecause it is his mother's favorite place for pho. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is adorable. The decorations and color are peaceful and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we arrived we were welcomed and told to sit anywhere. It was a busy lunch crowd. On our way to Door County, my husband and I looked for a different place for lunch. Pho 1 Noodle and Grill is easy to find, just a few blocks from Lambeau Field on Oneida Street. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's obviously a local hangout: the nine tables around ours were filled with people of Oriental descent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It features a wall filled with nosegays of artificial flowers and what must be the restaurant's motto: "All you need is Pho".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A friendly waitress showed us to a table and left menus. Both of us ordered Thai tea; I decided on the Shrimp Fried Rice, and my husband asked for the Drunken Noodles. Even though we were there about 11 am, business was brisk, with both eat-in orders and take-outs. The servers wound through the tables with trays made heavy with steaming bowls of pho. Our food arrived sooner than we expected, mounded on the plates. The Fried Rice had chopped vegetables, scrambled egg, and several shrimp. The Drunken Noodles were very tasty. If we come back through Green Bay again, we'll stop here for lunch or dinner. The prices are quite reasonable, and the food is satisfying. The Thai tea is delicious! read more

Let me start this off by saying, I'm from California and have had my fair share of pho. Coming back from a road trip from the UP on Labor Day, it was so hard to find a good place to get some Asian comfort food that was *open* - cue this restaurant. Partner and I gave it a chance and it did not disappoint!!! There is a sign that says there will be a long wait, but our pho came out promptly and was pretty yummy. We judge pho by the broth, and the broth didn't disappoint! Generous portions of herbs too. One thing I'll be honest about is we didn't get as much meat as I thought we would. The place and food feels homey, and is in a gem in the Midwest where it can be difficult to find Asian food that evokes this feeling. Delicious. My mom is a regular here and loves their vermicelli dishes. I ordered rice noodle soup with charbroiled pork (#19) and had them add a soft boiled egg. That is some of the tastiest broth I've ever had in pho. Prices are great! Service is friendly, but was slow on a Saturday afternoon. Wow this place did not disappoint! They are the only place in town I have found that makes chicken pho! I know it's custom to make it with beef but coming from the PNW there's always a veggie or chicken option. I noticed it's extremely hard to find pho and even harder to find non beef pho. Best Pho I've had in the Green Bay Area (I lived in Hawaii for 8 years and was absolutely spoiled with exceptional pho) - this is the only place locally that satisfies my pho craving when I get one. Crispy spring rolls are also spot on. Unfortunately it seems like it's temporarily closed - according to Google, they're getting new owners/management as of 10-24-22. (Couldn't figure out why no one was answering the phone when I went to order take out over the weekend, did some digging and this is the info I found.) Here's hoping that when and if they reopen that it's still the same delicious pho place as before. read more

Shady shady business. I went to do my expenses for work and noticed that this place added another dollar to the tip field when it rang my Corporate Card. I'm attaching proof of my receipt that shows I added a $2 tip. They took it upon themselves to tip another dollar. Completely unethical and will be reported to AMEX. As for the food, I only got the spring rolls and papaya salad. The spring rolls were dry, and fell apart when you took one bite. They were poorly wrapped. Papaya salad was awful. I'm from Southeast Asia, so the fish sauce and msg do not bother me. But it was too salty, and their fish sauce was overwhelming and the papaya was swimming in their disgusting sauce. read more

Came with a friend as this is a favorite spot of hers. Looking at other reviews, I noticed about the slow service. We got there about 20 minutes before they closed so the restaurant was mostly empty and service was fine. It was nice that they didn't rush us. They took our order and cleaned whatever else they could. My friend did mention once you get your food they're not good at coming back to check on you or get a refill on drinks, which did happen. I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered spring rolls and their wings. The spring rolls were typical to other restaurants. The wings were good, as you get six meaty wings, and the sweet sauce it came with did sweeten the deal. :) When you're done, you go to the cash register to pay your bill. I'm willing to give more stars after coming back and getting a full meal and see if I can get decent service. read more

The customer service here was phenomenal. I have some dietary restrictions, and the wonderful employee who was so humble he did not even need his name mentioned steered me to the best items on the menu--not too high in fat, no seafood. I ordered the #12 Pho, Sliced Rare Steak, X-Large, $8.99. I also got a Coconut Smoothie Boba, $4. I missed boba so much, what a treat! The contrast between the hot, soothing broth of the pho and the cool, milky boba drink is idyllic on this cool Monday. I took my food to go tonight, and it was carefully and thoroughly packaged, with a bag over the styrofoam container to ensure no spillage. While the broth is more mild and seems to be less long-steeped than what with which I was spoiled in Seattle and Los Angeles, it might just be that I had to watch it on the condiments tonight. The portions of basil, sprouts, and condiments were indeed generous. :) So many other menu items look delicious, including what I am hoping to try next--the veggie/tofu pho, yum! I was told there are only 3 pho spots in Green Bay, so I am thrilled that I found this place and gave eating out a chance in my new town! read more

Ordered their beef with rice and chicken with vermicelli. Both meats were overcooked. Got so much rice with the beef but hardly enough vermicelli for the chicken. Not enough dipping sauce for either dish. The last is a bit nitpicky but I'm a bit particular with how I like my Thai tea, and I don't appreciate subbing half and half/coffee cream for condensed milk. It dilutes the tea. The ratio of cream to tea needs a bit more tweaking; tea was way too sweet. read more

One pho to rule them all? I think so. The broth is what is extra special here. The flavor of the pho with the fresh toppings of sprouts and basil are perfection. Appetizer spring rolls: Light and crisp you get two of them in the order. We always each have one and they are great with the little sauce they come with. #100 Pork Sandwich: We all know this is a banh mi sandwich. Hard roll packed with pickled veggies and tender pieces of pork. The sauce really cuts through the hard bread to make this sandwich to die for. I will have to always order this from now on. I will always come back because the portion sizes are huge, quality is good and cheap! read more

I ordered this as delivery (through doordash) as I've heard from friends that the inside of the restaurant was gross but that the food was great. I ordered coffee, fried rice and a large bowl of pho.  The rice and pho were both big portion sizes.  They included all of the toppings in the to go containers that you would normally get in the restaurant, which I appreciated.  I felt the broth was okay, very bland without seasonings.  After adding in soy sauce, sriracha and a few other things it was a little better.  The jalapenos were cut randomly (in shape, length and width), rather than slices so all of the pieces were much larger than what you would expect to see and hard to eat. I thought the food was okay but nothing special.  I do not plan to return as there is another place in town that has incredible food and is priced similarly - Plia's. read more

Today was my first time trying Vietnamese food and I have to say: YUM!! I tried the Vegetarian Pho (which included tons of veggies and a few pieces of tofu). I really liked the soup but the next time, I am going to order it without the tofu. Tons of rice noodles, lots of veggies, and great flavor! It comes with a separate plate including a lime wedge, jalapeños, bean sprouts, and fresh basil. I added everything to the soup except the jalapeños. It was filling and I have a ton left over, too. It comes in Large and X-Large sizes. The XL is huge enough for sharing (and plenty for tomorrow!) I also ordered the regular fried rice and it was delicious. Even better with hoisin sauce (which is right on the table along with other sauces). My friend ordered the chicken stir fry and she liked it, too. Huge portions with plenty left-over. We also tried the Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk- fantastic! And I loved the Thai Iced Tea-- what a super sweet treat! read more

My wife and I were so excited to see this place open a few months ago, we accidentally entered just prior to being open. Needless to say we were a bit embarrassed when we were told they wouldn't be open for a few more days. But it was worth the wait. I instantly became a fan opening day when we were comped our meal because they had told us as we entered that they accepted credit cards (just not at that time) but we had no cash to pay for our meals and they could take a credit card due to the fact that the machine would not be ready at that time. The owner said it was on them and my wife and I have made it back there at least twice a week ever since. Early on, there was a lot of growing pains with the place, but a lot of that has been worked through. The food is very good and the owner is fantastic. I would have to rate the pho as 4 out of 5 stars, the owner 5 stars and the help 3.5 stars ( I have to beg for water sometimes). read more

The pho broth seemed watered down and the meat in the vermicelli noodle is dry. My sister-in-law's meat in her salad was still cold in the middle. She had them take it back. The Vietnamese sandwiches lacked jalapeño peppers and the bread used is not baguette. Not once did they come to check on us or came to refilled our drinks. It doesn't taste like the first them I went. I learned there were new owners. It is still the only pho restaurant in the area and for that, I will still visit if I'm in town. First things first: yum! What a great little spot for a cheap bowl of pho! A X-Large is only 6.95. It comes with lime, sprouts, basil, and jalapenos. I've had a lot of pho and this is pretty decent when it comes to taste. The broth(#1 most important thing) is a little lacking in flavor, and is a tad salty. Otherwise, the beef is sliced nice and thin and all other components were fresh and tasty. We had the vietnamese coffee (very good) and the passionfruit smoothie with boba which was a lacking in flavor. Overall an excellent place to get lunch, we will for sure be back! read more

I wasn't expecting to go for Pho in Green Bay, and this was great. I went for lunch with a colleague who had a taste for it. Following her lead, I ordered a pho, the house special one, and banh mi. When brought to the table, the pho was steaming, and it's toppings were fresh and clean. The taste was good, but I had douse it with some chili paste for my own liking. The basil brought out flavor in the broth, which was full of beef, tendons, stomach, etc. I knew that's what I was getting, and I go for that stuff sometimes, but it's an acquired taste, so I don't recommend it to everyone. The banh mi i do recommend for everyone. The bread was crunchy and crusty, and its fillings were perfectly flavored. I loved the combination of the pork with the crunchy vegetables in the sandwich. A pho and banh mi make a hearty meal, and we were both ready for naps following this meal, but it was worth it. read more
