About 4.25 stars. This restaurant is close to Lambeau Field Stadium. This is very decent Japanese cuisine. Parking on the street is easy. We got the chicken Yakitori to start. Chicken was grilled correctly. Three stick for price also reasonable. My wife got the build your own poke. She likes it got scallops and yellow tails as proteins. I got the Tonkutsu ramen. Went here for early dinner. You order food at the counter before sitting. It's not a table service restaurant. Service was okay. The area was spacious with a casual atmosphere. Japanese anime decors were in the interior. Got ramen bowls. The broth was bland. The tonkotsu was tender and flavorful. The koi seafood ramen had different seafood including mussels, scallops, etc. There were lots of noodles in each bowl. Chicken karaage was alright. Overall, the ramen bowls were a little disappointing because of the flavorless broth. The entire bowl would not taste anything if not for the other ingredients like seafood (or tonkotsu). read more

We had 2 very spicy tonkatsu ramen. $26. We were craving ramen after watching a nearby Packer practice session and decided to give this place a try. It did not disappoint. Though we have had better in bigger cities this ramen hit the spot and is definitely 5 stars for the Midwest Asian cuisine. The service was quick and courteous and the prices fair. Delish! I ate here after a week of heavy Christmas dinners, this was just the thing to settle my stomach! I ordered the Veggie Miso Ramen, Crab Rangoon, and Edamame through DoorDash. I would order every single thing again! The miso broth comes separate from the rest of the Ramen to ensure the toppings don't get soggy, which I appreciate. Ok, so when you're in Green Bay and you search for chicken katsu in Yelp, you come up with maybe one listing and I think that listing is all the way down in Appleton. I only discovered this place by driving by it on my way home from work yesterday and thought, "I'm going to stop in tomorrow and try it. ". They opened at 11 on Saturday so I placed an online order through their online online service and picked up my food, then went home. Relatively quick, I would just check in periodically because the online order system doesn't notify you when your food is ready. Opened up the container and I was pleasantly surprised for $13. The chicken was well cooked, thin, extremely crispy with the breading. The Katsu sauce tasted like it was made in house, very reminiscent of what I've had in Japan. And the rice, was your typical sticky rice, which was average. What I probably add an extra ounce of Katsu sauce? I would. A small container like that doesn't go very far and if you have someone that really likes the sauce as I do, you're going to need more. Other than that, it was a very good meal. I'm excited to see what the Ramen is like the next time I go back. Would very much suggest trying them out. read more

My husband and I decided to try their poke bowl since we love poke. This was our first time and our last. The portions were very sad; for a small, you get barely a tablespoon of poke meat. It was ridiculous how small the portions were. Also, it is not listed, but each add-on's are a dollar each so be careful how much add-on's you add to your poke bowl; also barely a tablespoon of each (at other poke bowl places I've been to, add-on's were included in the price). Our two small bowls were $38....what?! Basically paying for rice (my husband's) and mixed greens (mine). Their poke bowls are a rip off. read more

Between myself and my dining companions, I've sampled the chili pork ramen, the tonkontsu, veggie steamed dumplings, pork xio long bao, chicken karage, and spicy tuna white rice poke with various toppings. All the food is tasty and affordably priced. The service was friendly and quick both times. The interior is clean. My qualm with this place is that most everything is served in plastic/plastic-lined paper boats. Even when dining in! It's not only wasteful but also toxic. Microplastics leech into our food from plastic containers, especially when the food is hot, acidic, or fatty. It's hard to enjoy a bowl of ramen when you're aware of all the microplastics leeching out of the bowl and into your body. It feels like a big over-site in terms of diner experience to serve everything in plastic. Please invest in reusable plates, bowls, and silverware for dine-in customers. I don't think we'll be back until then. read more

I recently visited Koi Poke & Ramen in Green Bay, and it's absolutely a must checkout spot for ang ramen enthusiast. The menu offers a variety of options, but I highly recommend the Tonkostu ramen or the seafood option. The broth is rich and flavorful, noodles are perfectly cooked, and pork chasu is very tasty. Not to mention the restaurant is very clean, and the decor is awesome. It makes you feel like dining in Japan The owner came and checked on us to see if we had a good meal and how we found out about this place. I broke my rule of not going to a new place when it just was opened last week. But I saw so many awesome reviews! So I went. Place was packed at 7pm. So I ordered a 2 ramen bowls a few sides to go. I looked around and I could see that probably 85% of all the people there were waiting for food. 30 min go by.......45......1 hour and I finally get my food to take home on the other side of town. I didn't care that I had to wait. I had see all these great reviews right!? Well, the Spicy Pork Ramen was not spicy and bland. M partner had some chicken Ramen bowl, and she didn't even finish it. The shrimp side was good, chicken nugget things were good and spring rolls were .....meh. AND they didn't give us a 4 side ...Boa...Bao....something. So I called. whomever answered said it was there said to come in for a replacement but wouldn't take it off my credit card bill. it was 9pm. I wasn't driving across town. I'm sorry this isn't a favorable review. I think they are overwhelmed. GB peeps like to eat! I will give them a 2nd chance in a few months so they can get their ducks in a row. read more

My boyfriend and I had gone here together to check it out. And to be honest. It wasn't really that good. We both got ramen, and they both were just "fine" like they weren't excellent or bad. The bamboo kinda tasted like cat pee. The noodles were good. But the pork I got in mine was all fat, like tough fat that you couldn't chew through. And the theme of it all was just a little bit weird. Most of the art on the wall looks as if it was ai generated. Granted, when I was 13, I would've loved it. But as a 20 year old im not the biggest fan. I'm new to leaving reviews. And I feel bad my first one is semi bad. The gyosa was good, but it's hard to go wrong with those. read more

The three of us each ordered ramen and milk tea this evening, they were all decent. Then I went back up and got another milk tea and an order of spring rolls, since they looked delicious on the menu, I was then served what appeared to be egg rolls from the freezer section of a grocery store. I took a bite to confirm that they were indeed egg rolls and not spring rolls. I went to the counter and spoke with an Asian lady that assured me they were spring rolls, then I spoke with some guy that also assured me they were spring rolls, and that they order "spring rolls" from their supplier. I didn't try very hard because it wasn't worth it, but he was hell bent that they were spring rolls, and he would not give me a refund for them, and then stated that if I hadn't taken a bite he would've refunded me, and that if I would've just pointed out to him that they didn't have the "clear" wrapper, like in the photo that they have on their menu, before taking a bite he would've had no issue giving me a refund. I told him I was going to leave negative reviews and he didn't care. It's not about the $7, it's that I was lied to, and that the staff that I spoke with at least, were very ignorant about the food that they serve. It's all about principle. He should've just issued a refund and told his boss that they're deceiving customers. read more

My husband and I wanted to try the new ramen place tonight. When we got there, it was crazy busy - every table was taken and there were also people standing waiting for food and there was a line to order. It took a bit to order and get our food but it was so worth it! Since they're recently opened and clearly busy, I can definitely give them some grace. I ordered the tonkatsu and added spice, and my husband ordered the tan tan beef. The broth was rich and flavorful. The spice level though...I asked for mild and got something closer to hot! Still really good but be forewarned! The ramen egg was full of umami goodness. And the pork belly (chasu)...gosh it was amazing! Also full of umami goodness and so tender and melt in your mouth good. And they give you so much of it! My husband liked his tan tan beef, but I didn't taste his beef so I can't comment, although it did look yummy too. We also ordered the spring rolls and the fried shrimp. Both were good but with the amount of ramen noodles in the bowl, I couldn't finish my ramen! So I think I might skip appetizers next time because I simply didn't have room for them. This is a fast casual place so it was nice that the ramen bowl is plastic/disposable and comes with a lid - I just put it on top of the unfinished bowl and we were on our way! And the best part is that the ramen is reasonably priced. We both agree that we have found our new ramen place here in town! We will definitely be back...although maybe we'll come during the non-peak hours instead, at least while it's still a new restaurant. read more
