I've been to Umi, sushi lovers, koi... this place is better than all those places. If you like sushi then this is the place to go. Toro, uni, amaebi they have it all. Came here on Valentine's Day, of course it was going to be busy and I already knew the food was going to take awhile, but they do the best they can. A lot of seating in the place, I do prefer the other side of the restaurant as it felt roomier and the decor was better. When you visit Green Bay (we drove up from Chicago for the Dylan event), this restaurant is GREAT from service, vibe and menu; we were at the restaurant 04-Apr 2025. Kudos to Kelley who suggested menu and drink pairings. We enjoyed the Massaman Cury and Filet Terriaki entres, Gyoza, Miso soup along with Ozeki Sake and Martinis. All was paced according to our directions as Kelley noted and accomodated us. The food here was very mediocre. The sushi lacked flavor, the Thai curry was overly sweet, and although the price wasn't terrible, the food was not worth the price. The service was the WORST service we've experienced out of any restaurant we can remember going to. The restaurant had half of the tables seated and half open. We only ordered the noodles and 3 rolls. We waited an hour and a half. Our waiter didn't check on us once or refill out water. Another waitress had to come refill us. The worst part is the waiter made the excuse they were busy with takeout orders. If they're too busy with takeout orders then they shouldn't seat guests and leave them waiting an hour and a half with nobody checking on them or refilling waters. I like Little Tokyo better than the other sushi place across the river for a number of reasons. Number one is that the sushi is great and the cost is a buck or two less per roll. The staff is always very friendly and they seem to appreciate your business. I highly recommend the Doc's Delight. It's a California Roll with Tuna and Fresh Avocado on the outside. Yum! I also like to spend time in the revitalized Broadway Street Area. I really appreciate the updates and changes that have been happening in this area of town. read more

Fantastic sushi by Wisconsin standards. Reasonably fresh tuna and salmon. Eel was excellent. Nigiri 2 good size pieces for $6, so not bad. The poke appetizer was fantastic with just the right amount of spice to break a sweat. Met the owner - nice lady. Good atmosphere and the service was excellent. Would get 5 stars but the bathroom was a little grimy and could use a good cleaning. It was farmer's market so parking sucked but looks like it would be ok on a normal night. I'll be back. Stopped here for a quick lunch, 15 mins before they close for lunch. Lunch hours are 11a-230, then they close until 430p, and open for dinner until 9p. They accommodated me, the owner lady is very nice. Had a good small talk, server was really nice as well, and my lunch order of Sesame Chicken ($8.50) was one of the best Chinese style order ever. Chicken was tender, and crisp, fried rice was very well done, was served with white mushrooms, and carrots, which were well cooked. Lunch order comes with bowl of clear soup, which was very very good. I don't eat sushi, but I'll come again for the cooked menu. I've heard good things about their sushi as well. Came here because this is one of my girl friend's place to munch on sushi (she loves the Dynamite roll sauce). Atmosphere: Street parking and you usually end up parking far away due to the location. The interior isn't anything special. Random Asian inspired decorations and booths line the walls. The tables and the menu was kind of sticky, like it had been that way forever. I can not comment on the bathrooms because I did not use. Service: It was....awkward. The timing was off for service, some of our members ordered cooked entrees and some ordered sushi. The entree meals soup, salad and entree dishes were out before any of the sushi so we all ate at different times. Our server was nice, but she didn't talk much, and seemed overwhelmed since it took until the end of our meal to get our water glasses refilled (which is an issue if you have spicy food!) Food: There is nothing I would come back for....I ordered the AAC, JB Maki, and the Tuna lover roll. The quality and freshness was just not there, the rice tasted stale and hard and the fish tasted very...fishy. Just was not for me. There are so many better places for sushi in the area that have better parking and food options available I would not recommend or come back. read more

I hadn't been to Little Tokyo in years when my wife and I decided to stop in one Thursday for an early dinner. We started with a double order of fresh vegetable spring rolls, which were excellent - we'll be getting these to go often. Loved them! We followed that up with some excellent Toro, with one little issue - the rice was flavorless and took away from the excellent Toro as it tasted bland and watery. The next 3 maki rolls we tried are tough to review. They all had very good fish, but massive amounts of it. The rolls themselves had a perfectly small amount of rice, but they were huge and just packed with fish. Some will appreciate the large amounts of fish, but for us it was too much and we quicky lost our gusto for the rolls as they were a bit chewy and a bit to large for comfort. Some will like that, but some won't. Again, the rice took a bit away from the roll itself. We really want to stop back in to try some of their entrees - we saw others with them and they looked, and smelled, great. read more

This has long been one of my favorite places to have sushi. I ordered several rolls and a bowl of udon. It was excellent. Amy and the staff have always been excellent. I walk to this place from my house. There are two sushi restaurants to choose from and I always come here. There is a wide variety of rolls and a full menu and a full bar. The service is always fantastic. My son loves the bottled sodas they have with fizzy balls inside. The prices are reasonable. Even when I get sushi to go the presentation is still nice. Okay yes this place isn't an authentic sushi joint but WHAT THE HELL? It's as good as it gets... especially in greenbay, winsconsin... I mean yes they may play korean music at times, (hahaha) but you don't know that! I love how they make their sushi here. Sushi again is supposed to be small (for some of you out there who expect big sushi pieces... typical americans). First have to say this would be 4 1/2, but not able to apply 1/2 on this app. Service was 20% tip great, friendly, calm, knowledgeable, all around pleased. We love the cozy, warm atmosphere and it's always clean. Now to the food, house sake and tea are very enjoyable. First time ordering the shrimp tempura, sadly we could see the oil needed to be changed because the shrimp was not golden brown, more brown as you will see in the photo. Miso soup was spot on and the best of the best Love Boat was worth every cent. A treat to be had when in need of a awesome Sushi fix. We have tried all Sushi restaurants in the Green Bay Area and hands down Little Tokyo is the best. Also refreshing to see the owner is the Sushi chef and a WOMAN! Recently transplanted from Vegas, I wanted to find a Green Bay sushi joint up to par with the many spots there. Let's just say so far I'm still sort of on the hunt. Little Tokyo is this kind of older, hole-in-the-wall joint near downtown GB with a super cool atmosphere and staff. There's a small bar area up front with a few chairs but no need to pit stop as we were seated immediately in a half-capacity (thanks a lot, Covid) dining area. We were given a menu (that I later saw being disinfected so that's appreciated) and started with an order of calamari tempura that was delicious. Lightly battered and tender, not at all chewy. So far, so good. So, so, so good. We then decided on 3 sushi rolls. Dynamite, shrimp tempura and Tokyo. They were decent but nothing to rave about. Fresh, but not overly flavorful. It just sort of felt like they were missing something. I'm for sure going to give it another go at Tokyo Sushi cause I don't form final opinions based on one visit alone (and especially when the appetizer is so good). I'll try a few other rolls and go from there. In short, Tokyo Sushi is a cool spot with good ambiance. Our server was very attentive and friendly and the service, in general, was excellent. I went here for dinner with friends after the other Sushi restaurant down the street had an hour wait. I saw the poor yelp reviews but thought what the heck anyways. Well $30 later and I wish I would have just waited the hour for Sushi Lover restaurant instead. I ordered shrimp tempura roll and the shrimp they used was baby shrimp and it was a tiny little roll. Uhh annoying. I was expecting a nice good size shrimp as typical. The rolls also kept breaking and even though I ordered 3 rolls I only took two bites. I threw the rest away. Inside, outdated. Running errands and we were looking for a Thai place and when we got there, it is now a pizza place so we looked around and found this place. Pricy, but worth every cent. They have fish that wasn't available in VA that we like. Also, I'm having a box lunch that I couldn't get in VA. They also have fresh shrimp spring rolls I love. They make everything to order and if it's not on the menu and they have the ingredients you want, they will make whatever you want. Our server, Franchesca, is awesome, fun, and down to earth.
