Great service. Even better sushi. We absolutely recommend having sushi here! Our first time visiting Green Bay - this restaurant did not disappoint!

Should have waited but it looked amazing and tasted even better.

The best kept secret in the Midwest. Did rolls with my son today. We talked about it all the way home. Crispy salmon skin for the win.

The best sushi in the area. The Spicy Seafood Salad was amazing and all the rolls are filled with large amounts of fish, can't go wrong with the price!

I like Little Tokyo better than the other sushi place across the river for a number of reasons. Number one is that the sushi is great and the cost is a buck or two less per roll. The staff is always very friendly and they seem to appreciate your business. I highly recommend the Doc's Delight. It's a California Roll with Tuna and Fresh Avocado on the outside. Yum! I also like to spend time in the revitalized Broadway Street Area. I really appreciate the updates and changes that have been happening in this area of town.

Now, I can't proclaim to be a sushi connoisseur but there's one thing I'm sure those who are, would agree on. Freshness is key. Can't complain about that at Little Tokyo. The selection of seafood options for sushi rolls was huge. I mean, they even had eel (Unagi)and sea urchin (Uni)! Oh, did I mentioned I learned a bit of Japanese while I was there too?

Absolutely the worst hibachi experience I have ever had. We…read morewere first time visitors and came in excited, only to leave frustrated, disappointed, and still hungry. To start, the upcharge for hibachi fried rice is ridiculous. I have been to hibachi restaurants across the country and have never been charged extra just for fried rice. We paid it anyway, and the rice was severely undercooked. Next, each person at the hibachi table received approximately 1/3 cup of rice, and that is not an exaggeration. The portion was embarrassingly small. We were also supposed to receive a variety of vegetables, but the chef forgot to add all the vegetables. We ordered our steak medium and were served rare steak. It had to be placed back on the grill after it had already touched our plates, which is unsanitary and unacceptable, especially since the chef was not finished cooking for the night. On top of all of this, we ordered sushi and never received it. When we raised these issues, the server was not helpful and did not advocate for us at all. The group at our table had to argue just to receive more than 5% off the meal. Management then claimed we were not the same party, despite the fact that we were seated at the same hibachi table and experienced the same problems. Poor portions, poor execution, and poor customer service. This was not worth the money, and we will not be returning. Review update based on manager's response: Your recollection of the events is inaccurate. You appear to be confusing me with another patron who disputed their bill. This was my first visit to your restaurant, as clearly stated in my original review, so I am unsure where that assertion originated that I've been coming there for 20 years. We were not part of the party whose bill was adjusted beyond 5%. We were seated at the same table but were treated differently because we "weren't with them." As a result, our bill was not adjusted in a comparable manner. Additionally, we did not receive the bean sprouts or cabbage that were supposed to accompany the vegetables. I ordered sushi, and the server failed to submit the order until I reminded her later in the meal. The sushi arrived at the end of dinner in a to-go container. Unfortunately, I did not open it until I got home, at which point I discovered it was prepared incorrectly. Contrary to your response, we never received a gift card. Misrepresenting facts is not appropriate for a business owner. If you choose to publicly respond to reviews, it is important to ensure accuracy and awareness of what is occurring within your establishment. I understand that hibachi-style service involves managing multiple guests at once; however, patrons should not be penalized for operational or staffing issues. If a server/chef is on their first day, it is management's responsibility to provide oversight. At no point did a manager come to our table to acknowledge or apologize for the multiple errors. For these reasons, my original review and assessment remain unchanged. Proceed with caution when dining here.

The last time we went at 2pm on a Thursday during a heat wave in the summer. It was not busy. we had been out running errands and stopped in for a quick beer and appetizer. The main dining room can get very loud on busy nights so I appreciated the more closed off space for a large dinner event. The caveat being we received spotty service - for example, water pitchers were set in the corner and you had to get up to pour your own water. At minimum, it would've been better to just leave pitchers on the table directly for faster access. Food was hit or miss. While we loved the appetizers, half of our table found their main entrees to be MEH. For example, my halibut arrived warm but the curry was room temperature. My colleague said her burger was one of the worst she's had. My other colleague said his steak was mediocre. People who ordered pizza loved it. An unfortunate mixed bag given the lively environment and nice ambiance. I'd come back again to give it another try because the menu rotates enough where I'm sure I'll land on some better food options next time.

I also called corporate headquarters three times during business hours and was sent to voicemail each time, with no return call. Mistakes happen, but the complete lack of communication, accountability, or even a basic apology is unacceptable. This was my son's first experience with the job application process, and he was simply ignored.
