Bun Xeo (Vietnamese pancake with pork and shrimps)

This Vietnamese Spot has been one of our favorite for many years and still is until today!! It's located in a large strip mall next to the Nail Shop and the AOB (Art of Boba). This place make us feel very homie everytime we go there. Service is great!! The owner knows our order after just a few time going there!! Their pho broth is delicious!! Some of our favorite dishes are the fresh rolls (shrimps, Pork, bean sprouts, vermicelli noodles and basil with peanut hoisin dip) the Vietnamese Pancake (shrimps and pork, bean sprouts scallions in a crispy turmeric egg crepe with lettuce for wrapping and sauce) the special vermicelli bowl (lettuce, vermicelli noodles, short ribs, chicken, pork, shrimps, and fried spring roll with bean sprouts and sauce) and of course the Pho!! Gotta tell you that broth is liquid gold!! Hits the spot everytime!!

Today I ordered the Korean short rib platter and deep fried egg rolls (3) for pick-up. I was quoted a 7-10 minute wait time and when I arrived, my order was ready at the front and I was given the total of a little over $22. When I arrived home with my order my food was still hot and fresh. I started with the egg rolls and they were DELICIOUS! Fried crispy and the duck sauce provided was the perfect complement. Way better than the packaged sauce you usually get from these restaurants. The Korean short rib platter was good but could have been better. First and foremost the Korean short ribs themselves were nothing short of amazing! I ate every last bit. The rest of the plate however, I could have done without. The rice was mushy. The broccoli steamed but no flavor, not even seasoned with salt and pepper. I've tasked myself with eliminating food waste within my power this year so I'd definitely order the dish again simply asking for the short ribs alone.

Chicken wings were spectacular and perfectly cooked. Pho was authentic -- coming from a girl who was just in Vietnam and from the DC/ VA region where there are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants. This pho was actually really good and the broth was a perfect blend of savory and refreshing and the meat was so fresh. The woman at the front desk was so kind and quick to help. I also saw her attention to details when a young mom and little boy walked in and she brought the mom scissors to cut the pho. Another woman walked in and she remembered her order and made sure to check on her day and her routine and it was such a nice personal touch. Highly recommend Pho 16

More like 3 1/2 stars if you're just rating the soups.... I've been in Florida long enough that when it's rainy and cool, I crave comfort food -- and soup. We'd eaten at another pho place down the street before. I'd bookmarked this place for a future visit. Tonight was the night. It's in a large shopping center on the corner so there was plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is small but service is fairly fast so the tables turn over quickly. We started with an order of shrimp spring rolls. They were just okay -- a bit loosely wrapped. The two rolls were served with a hoisin sauce (I prefer the more peanut one). And unfortunately, the roll fell apart with the first bite. My soup was quite good. I got #27 which was a chicken broth base with egg noodles, shrimp and pork. I liked the thin slices of pork that were fat free yet still tender. And there was a decent amount of shrimp (with the tails still on). The dried fried onions and cilantro gave the soup extra flavor. I added bean sprouts from the greens/garnishing plate. My husband had their pho with vermicelli rice noodles and shrimp. He added sprouts, mint, jalapeños, and lime. He liked his soup as well. Service was efficient. And prices were very reasonable. I'm glad we tried this place. Now we know.

Cool night calling for some hot soup, or better yet, hot Pho. We had a good Vietnamese meal on the east side of Military Trail and saw Pho 16 as our next destination when in the area. We shared a Spring Roll with shrimp and I ordered the Rice noodle Pho with shrimp. (There goes my cholesterol!) The server was pleasant and served our rolls with a dish of Hoisin sauce for dipping. The spring roll was loosely wrapped so my attempt to pull apart the two cut halves resulted in Noodle displacement all over the plate. It tasted ok. Our respective bowls of Pho were served piping hot and mine was filled with 10 medium sized Shrimp and the broth and noodles were very tasty. This place has good Pho and reasonable prices.

Chicken Vermicelli bowl (over rice noodles) and Beef Short Ribs over rice - delivered by ubereats

What an ubereats find! Had a great lunch from Pho 16. Chicken thigh, marinated and grilled over rice noodles. I only used a little of the sauce provided - beware it's pretty powerful fish sauce based! But on the side so all good. Super tender beef ribs (kalbi style) in a sweet marinade and grilled over rice. Came with some cucumbers which added a nice fresh pop. So good. Large portions. Would definitely order again if I was in the area.

Yes yes yes !! I m beyond words with describing the Flavors of this place, Pho 16 is a "Heck yea" in my books! And it will be in yours too! I recommend that you put this place on your map to visit often! I will be back and I am bringing friends that love Pho as much as I love Pho! I do recommend you try everything on the menu. I met an sweet woman there by the name of Teresa that shared with me she goes almost every week and it's her go to, it will be mine too! Must stop by and try it out! It's tucked away on right side of Publix left of ice cream shop.

I frequent pho16 on a regular basis. Unfortunately, today my order of grilled pork & rice platter was poor quality. see the photo of the pork mostly fat and gristle. They have raised their prices which I don't mind paying more if the food matched the quality. It's a hit or miss place.

I came back a second time, and she actually remembered me, which made the experience even more special. She even threw in an order of spring rolls for my son and me, jokingly saying, "I gave you extra so you won't have to fight with your son!" She was absolutely adorable and had such a great sense of humor. The Vietnamese coffee was bold, robust, and perfectly sweet--it kept me going all day. The pho was served piping hot, fresh, and full of vibrant flavors. I also ordered the fried duck with rice and vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. It even held up well on my drive home. The duck stayed crispy and hot, and the flavorful sauce on the vegetables tied everything together perfectly. I also tried the grilled pork vermicelli bowl with peanuts. I ordered another one with chicken and asked for it without peanuts because my son has a nut allergy. It was delicious--almost like a deconstructed pho without the broth. As good as it was, I still prefer the pho because the broth is, hands down, the best part. It's rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth coming back for. The portions are generous, so you'll easily have enough for two meals. Please check out this spot and show this hidden gem some love. Fair warning: you won't find it on the menu, but it exists, and I highly recommend asking for it. I visited on a Tuesday just after opening to a wonderfully warm welcome. Being the only customer at the time, the service was attentive and personal from start to finish. I started with a Thai iced tea and the Thai papaya salad before getting to what I was really there for: the off-menu pork bánh mì. (They also offer beef and chicken, but pork is the classic for a reason.) The papaya salad was a great way to start -- generous in portion, easily shareable, and served in a crisp lettuce cup. Bright, tangy, and perfectly limey with that familiar hit of fish sauce and a satisfying crunch in every bite. The Thai iced tea was equally refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. But the star of the show? That pork bánh mì. The bread hit that magical sweet spot -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The pork was tender and deeply flavorful, and the toppings (pickled carrot, cucumber, onion, and fresh cilantro) delivered the perfect balance of brightness and crunch. Mayo on the inside added a nice richness, and a side spoon of spicy mayo tied everything together beautifully. Wanda and Nana were my servers and they were outstanding. When I mentioned I'd be back for the phở, they brought me a small bowl of broth to taste on the spot -- rich, aromatic, and full of depth. Now I'm even more eager to come back for a full bowl with all the fixings. The owner (I didn't catch his name, but is a fellow Minions fan :)) was equally warm, sending me off with a little grab bag of fortune cookies on the way out. I will absolutely be back -- for more bánh mì and that phở. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
