This is a little hole in the wall in Green Acres. It's not far from lake worth. Not very many tables but they do have outside seating. It was a very authentic and cozy feeling when you walk in. The service was spot on! We got our food quick and we were happy. We tried the pork bao bun. This was so full of flavor on the inside and the bun it's self was light and fluffy. Next we had the shrimp summer rolls. They were ok, not something I recommend. They had three shrimp and the sauce was not very flavor full. The last thing I had was banh mi, really it was a sandwich with chicken and vegetables. I wasn't impressed with it. I'd never had it before either. I also had a peach tea, which was the best thing of the whole meal. This was sweetened with real peach and had peach pieces at the bottom. Upon entering the restaurant is clean, great decor and the staff is friendly. We got seated right away and ordered food. I ordered the Kalbi-beef short ribs and a lychee tea. The ribs were tasty and the plate overall was a good portion. I really enjoyed it. My friend and partner both got the banh mí and honestly it was delicious. We had initially decided to head out to our usual favorite place for pho to celebrate our daughter's win when she suggested Yen's Kitchen, which was highly recommended by a classmate for the most authentic pho she has had. Though it is a bit out of the way for us, we decided to drive the extra distance. The place was packed and everyone was happy, staff and guests. The staff was super friendly and attentive. It is a family establishment. We all ordered the beef pho supreme and added tendon, the shrimp spring rolls and grilled pork belly spring rolls. T he e food was delicious. We were especially excited to try the pho and it was phenomenal. The broth was rich and deeply flavorful. We went with the classic Chicken Phò which was made perfectly and not to salty! lots of fresh vegetables and the right amount of chicken and vermicelli. We had it split in the kitchen and there was plenty! We also had two orders of Shrimp summer rolls with a side of a spicy peanut sauce. Wow was it good!! Had them bring a side of spicy chili oil for even more spice. But all was spicy enough I barely could add more. 1 Star Yen's Kitchen is wildly overpriced for what you actually get. The portions are shockingly small for the price, and somehow they still find a way to nickel-and-dime you. Charging an extra $5 just for sauce on the side is outrageous, especially when the food already costs as much as it does. The worst part was my most recent experience. I called in to place an order and was put on hold for 20 minutes when Tracy got back on no apology, no explanation, nothing. If you're going to charge premium prices, at the very least the customer service should match. Between the tiny portions, ridiculous add-on charges, and poor service, this place is absolutely not worth the money. Awesome spot! Very casual and comfortable spot serving delicious bahn mi and pho. I'm a sucker for the bahn mi and get the grilled pork sandwich every time that I go. The drinks are also amazing, and the Vietnamese iced coffee does it for me everytime. The food is delicious, always super fresh and tasty. I placed an order for delivery through Uber Eats; when it arrived the order was completely incorrect. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Tracey. She told me that she could not resend the food but she would give me a credit so the next time I ordered I would use the credit. Tonight, I tried to order and what a debacle it was!! I called and spoke to Tracy prior to placing the order and she told me how she preferred I do it, so I followed her directions explicitly. I received notification that she cancelled my order through Uber Eats!! When I called back she told me she had tried to give me the credit and had somehow cancelled the order and I needed to re-order through Uber Eats... Mind you this is almost 45 minutes after the original phone call. She did provide me an alternative option... the restaurant could deliver the food. Here's the kicker... What a disappointment. We stopped by at around 2:30 pm. The restaurant was empty. I was with my daughter and 3 grandchildren. They do not like Vietnamese food so they ordered pizza from the restaurant next door and sat outside Yen's to eat it. The staff came out yelling that we could not sit there and charged a $10 service fee which shocked us. We had spent $30 on food at Yen's and were treated so poorly. The restaurant and restroom was not clean. My grandchildren also ordered a Taro Bun at Yen's which cost $5.95 and was inedible. The summer rolls had brown sprouts. I do not recommend this restaurant. The food and staff were horrible. I am usually respectful and tip well but this experience was not worth of that. read more

I changed it up for lunch and got me some Pho. The visit was quick since I got a takeout and I didn't wait long for the food at all. The menu has several options and it was hard to narrow it down to a final choice. I built my own Pho soup. It had beef broth with signature Pho noodles, a boiled egg, and steak. The lady behind the counter who took my order recommended to me to heat up the broth for about a minute before eating it when I got home. It was still hot when I got home and I didn't want to burn myself on making it even hotter. Everything was poured into a big bowl and I stirred it all up before devouring it. I enjoyed everything and I couldn't finish it all. Thankfully, there wasn't much left that I didn't feel bad about throwing it away. Yen's for dinner Does. Not. Miss. I finally had a chance to try a Banh Mi, which are usually sold out every other time I've come here to eat. They are generous with the sandwich fillings and very affordable at $6.95 , considering milk teas are almost the same price. I got the matcha milk tea, which was a MUST if you're gonna survive the banh mi full of jalapeños and accompanied by a sweet and spicy-as-hell vinegar sauce. The masochist that I am enjoys the delicious burn that rings my mouth with every bite of the sandwich, but if you're not a spice lover, proceed with caution. We shared veggie summer rolls and the green papaya salad. Summer rolls are super fresh and packed full- and they come with a spicy, homemade peanut sauce that is worth the $0.50 you pay to ask for extras. The green papaya salad was lackluster - I've had wayyy better elsewhere, so safe to say skip this item on the menu. Other than that, solid favorites are always any vermicelli noodle salad (Bún) and the fish sauce wings for appetizer. The restaurant was busy as usual, and the two waiters running the whole front of the house were definitely in the weeds. However that didn't take away from our experience, even when our waiter fumbled 2 of our orders. He was very nice, and lucky for us, we were served a dish we didn't order (vermicelli supreme) that ended up being more delicious than our original order (land fried egg noodle dish). They graciously comp'd it for the mistake and we left with bellies full and plenty of leftovers. I'm sure I will be back again soon and can't wait to try more items on their menu. read more

This dish has lotus root with grilled shrimp. Very delicious. The second dish is Banh Xeo with pork. This dish is a egg crepe with with bean sprouts. It come with basil leaves and lettuce. You can use them as lettuce wrap with accompanying sweet chili sauce. The third dish shrimp paste platter. This platter includes shrimp paste, sausage, crispy green pork, steam pork and more. But tonight I remember how good the sandwich was and I called them and I explained to the person answer the phone that I did not know anything about Vietnamese food and that me and my husband wanted dinner and we need it it's delivered and for them to please pick out whatever they would order. my family and i love this place for really good vietnamese food in palm beach county. i'm in awe of their large portions and creative, aesthetic presentation. they add a modern flair to each dish while still staying true to the authenticity and flavor of the vietnamese dishes we love so much--something not just any restaurant can do well. everytime we come here, service is also incredibly kind. even when seated outdoors, they are attentive and check in with water or tea refills. the only downside about sitting outdoors is that the fish sauce will 100% attract curious flies, but hey--that's florida for ya. yen's kitchen is always a pleasant dining experience otherwise! read more

I had the pleasure to have their ube bun and iced coffee at Miami AAPI Food Festival held at Smorgasburg Miami. Such a friendly staff. Now let's talk about the snacks!!! The bun was so freaking fluffy and melts in my mouth! The filling is a perfect balance between a wipped cream and a custard. The ube comes through and compliments the bun. It is lightly sweet so it doesn't feel too heavy with the coffee. I had other food at the festival before I stopped at the stand for dessert.
