Stopped by for dinner on my way home, the food was good the pork was tender and flavorful. the white rice was bland but with the pork and fish sauce you barely notice. great portions and I love that they serve the rice dish on a huge bed of lettuce. The service was fast they brought my order out in less than 10 minutes. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu

I do see what some others are saying about the customer service; I didn't get the warm fuzzies or a welcoming feeling when I went, but that aside. The first time I ordered from here I got the the Fire Cracker Shrimp and the sliced steak pho. The shrimp were ok and the pho was delicious. So I was happy to have a pho place near me (because I have to go way out of my way for other places). Second visit - I got the Summer Roll and decided to try the Beef Rib Pho. The Summer Rolls were very good. However, when I looked at the pho, I had initially thought they gave me the wrong order and I was trying to contact them about it, but couldn't get them because they were already closed and gone (8:25pm). I didn't know if I should eat it or refrigerate it and deal with them the next day and as I was about to put it in the fridge, I looked more closely at the broth and saw something in it. I was expecting the typical beef rib bone, not two TINY, fatty "PIECES" of rib with not even much meat on them for $21.90. Even though the pho was good, I'm so turned off by what I consider a borderline scam, that I won't be back.

Do not let the hole in the wall stray you away from coming here. It's tiny. Looks like it's family owned has maybe 8 tables. We were seated right away( you seat yourself) and ordered right away as well. The food comes out super quick to come out and very hot. When I tell you I went in feeling super sick and not well, two sips of this broth made me feel better. This is not a joke. My husband and I are very critical of really good pho and this is it. They may serve the water is plastic little cups but the quality of the food is just so good.

Not sure how long it's been here but I JUST found it. And it did not disappoint. I had #3 (those shrimp wrap thingys) and #19 (chicken & noodles). Can't pass up a place with BoBa so I thoroughly enjoyed that too! Don't hesitate if you are! Whether a novice or a PHO pro. Serving sizes are typical, service quick, the options all typical also. The flavors and taste, quality of the food was also above par.

This is a great local spot for Vietnamese food! Located in a small strip of stores, there's no problem finding parking. The inside is small, with 6-8 tables max. But while we were there, I saw 3 to go orders get picked up, so that's a great option for busy weekend nights! My friend and I started with the summer rolls and crispy spring rolls. The spring rolls were steaming hot and fresh! We both got pho for our mains, my friend the house combo which includes 5 different cuts of beef and me the shaved rare beef pho. The broth was YUM. On the side comes a plate overflowing with things you can add to your bowl such as jalapeños, lime, and fresh herbs. The food here is hot, flavorful, and reasonably priced. My big bowl of pho was only $11.95. I'm so happy I live in walking distance of this hidden local gem. I can't wait to go back!

Quick customer service and decent pho. There are about 7 tables inside, which aren't too badly cramped together - but the AC was kicking so hard it almost kicked us out the door! We had pho and banh mi; the pho is good but the broth lacked the depth I expect from great pho. My son who had never had banh mi before, was hesitant to try, but wound up liking his sandwich. Overall, a decent lunch experience, but not someplace I anticipate visiting again.

Small little Vietnamese spot unassuming in a back way strip mall off Hollywood Blvd. Best Vietnamese pho, shaking steak, spring rolls and bowls you will find in this town hands down. The chef is out of a movie, straight out of Miss Saigon. Romantic setting bamboo chairs green walls beauty dim art in unassuming presentation. A couple with two Guinea pigs in a cage slurping pho. A lone Latina, back to the window, savoring her rice dish. A teen on the sidewalk table baking skateboard at his feet finishing his shaking steak. These are the players. The Vietnamese is on a side street off of Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood Hills. It's hard to find but there is a small unassuming place with good food. The menu choices are inexpensive with good choice of pho. I as the pork ins. The pro along with a spring roll was delicious with the salad and ride noodles in it. I plan to visit this place in the future.

Came to this place to have a quick bite and love pho soup, so decided to try this place that has so many good reviews.... 5 stars I personally would not give as it was good but not somewhere I would drive 1 hour to go... Service as stated by fellow reviewers, is by the husband and the wife in the kitchen cooking... Ordered a shrimp pho that was actually very good and what made it good was the freshness and cooked shrimps... these were the ones that made this review 4/5... actually 4.3/5, now that I think. The goodies in the soup were normal as expected..... Ordered a summer roll with only shrimp as well and it was good normal good... The peanut sauce was ok, have had better... Diet coke on a can with a styrofoam glass ... The place is clean (normal clean).... Parking in front. Enjoy

Wow. I had to ask for a spoon to finish all the last peices of my dish. I order the chicken rice noodles which came with carrots, Cucumbers, lemongrass over a bed of fresh lettuce topped with peanuts mmmm. Ok this was amazing so fresh!! It felt so healthy had the perfect amount of carbs, veggies and protein. They even add a spring roll for you. I absolutely loved the dish! For a drink i asked for thai tea with sugar on the side. The person taking my order was so sweet brought everything to me as asked. She even made sure to ask of I was ok with the spring roll and planned ahead to give me the veggie one as she noticed my ordering habits were in line with less meat, less sugar. Service was great! The thai tea was so good even without sugar! I added a touch for a bit of flavor and it was great! This place is an outstanding establishment with extremely fresh food and great service at a reasonable price. 5 stars will be back soon!

The pho was tasty and included a good variety of vegetables inside, the portion size was perfect. However, it did not come with a lot of toppings. The small plate of bean sprouts and herbs (in my photo) is what they brought us for two people. Also I think the air may have been broken when I went because it was quite hot inside. read more

The pho was okay. I wish it had more meat in it, it was really just noodles and one little sliver of meat. They didn't even provide your own tray of toppings, they brought one tray out for the table to share. The ambience of the restaurant wasn't the best, there was no music playing and it looks a little rundown. I'm glad I tried it but it's definitely not the best Pho restaurant I've been to around here. read more

I am so happy to find a Vietnamese restaurant in Hollywood Hills! I work in Hollywood so I decided to try lunch. I was able to order online and drove to the restaurant to pick up. The restaurant is small and very clean. There are a few tables outside as well. I was pleasantly surprised at all the to go orders I saw as I waited about 3 min for my order. I ordered the Lemongrass Pork (Bun Thit Nuong) and iced green tea. This dish has rice vermicelli noodles, spring mix, cucumber, pickled carrot and daikon, fried shallot, roasted and crushed peanuts and fish sauce. It even came with one (huge) fried spring roll. Everything was so fresh and the flavor was on point. I had heard many great things about this restaurant and everything I heard was correct. I loved my lunch so much I tried it again the next day. This time I had Pork (Thịt Heo) banh mi'. It came on a French style baguette with house made pate, mayonnaise cilantro cucumber, jalapeno, and pickled cucumber. I did ubereats this time and again was not disappointed. The sandwich was amazing with freshness and flavor. Authentic Vietnamese cruise, food comes out in less than 10 EVERY TIME, the fried shrimp are bomb really wish they came with more their so addicting especially with the sauce it comes with. Service can be a bit better I feel sometimes I have to go get up to get someone's attention but that's fine I'll always come back here. The ambience just really gives home, not white washed and I love it, can come in you pj's and your not going to feel out of place lol read more

Wow! Very good restaurant! They changed the name to Pho 46. The restaurant is in a shopping plaza off of 46th and Hollywood Blvd. it's very clean and cozy. The people are very polite and friendly. I ordered the vegetable pho last week and it was very very very good! It was very tasty and the vegetables and tofu were fresh. I also bought the vegetable spring rolls and they were crispy and good. I don't know how I've missed this restaurant before since it's close to the Joann fabrics in Hollywood that I regularly visit. I am always looking for a place with great Pho & Banh mi. The restaurant is pretty tiny, it has maybe 8 tables & both times that I've been there I am one of 2 or 3 people there. This restaurant doesn't have many frills but it looks clean. I decided to try the shrimp summer rolls, the pork Banh Mi, and a classic Pho with raw beef on the side. The Summer Rolls were the absolute best I've ever had. The shrimp & pork tasted fresh. They add some fresh Thai Basil which really gives it a nice freshness. The Banh Mi was ommmggggg....once again, the best! The pork is soooo flavorful , they use real french bread and fresh ingredients. I was really in shock that it was soooo good!. I was trying not to get too full before my Pho came so I only ate half and saved the rest for the next day. The next day I toasted the bread and it was somehow even better than the day before!! Then I got the Pho. I gotta say, it was a lighter broth than I like. It wasn't my favorite Pho but it was pretty good. The next time I went I opted not to order the Pho but I may give it another try. This place is close to my job so naturally I stumbled upon it. Came here on a Thursday afternoon around 1:45 and I had the whole place to myself, being that it's still pretty new. Place looked very tidy and they had vietnamese soft R&B songs playing in the background which was cool and different. I ordered the Vermicelli Bowl with the Lemongrass pork and the Japanese Iced Green tea. Pork was steaming hot with lots of flavor and it sat on a bed of rice vermicelli noodles accompanied with a pickled carrots and cucumbers and finally a spring roll on the side. Also came with a fish sauce and crumbled up peanuts. The bowl was perfect, left me satisfied but not too full. The green tea was refreshing and not too sweet. Service was perfect however I was the only patron at the time. All in all, Place was 5 star all the way. Definitely worth a second visit! read more

What a great surprise! While service was mediocre, the food made up for it. We started with the lemongrass fries and they were amazing. Very flavorful and not greasy. We each ordered Pho and it really was all that. We were so pleased, we ordered a Pho to go. I'm sure we'll return when in the area. Fresh. Delicious and authentic ! Looked at about two places to order pho from around me and finally chose Pho 46 because the least amount of bad reviews . So glad I chose this place ! Right when I walked in to pick up my order there was food coming out for the in-house dining guest and it looked perfect. So I was instantly excited for my order. I got 3 types of pho, 2 banh mi , a chicken noodle platter, and a bunch of different rolls . It was the healthiest take out I've ever gotten. Full of fresh veggies and quality broth. The Pho is always steaming hot in a large bowl full of healthy ingredients. Had the brisket pho and I believe that's the best, because my friend had the chicken pho and the broth was very good but chicken tends to be less tasty than the brisket. Will order again. read more

Cute wife and couple place. Service was slow but totally understandable as 2 person team. The food is amazing! The pho broth tasted what I can only describe as clean. The food here is awesome! best pho in town. The broth is very rich and full of flavor. The meat is very well cook and noodles are amazing. The lady at the front counter is very nice and such a darling to talk to. Food came out very quick. Dining area is nice cozy, entertaining and tasteful decor. I don't remember ordering a toddler sized pho. So I checked to see if I accidentally ordered from kids menu. Nope! Paid 13$ for this. Soup was good, thus the reason why there are 2 stars not 1. The food was great as the others reviews mentioned. However, I didn't like the customer service. Who ever works the register literally tossed the menu at me when I walked in. He was very dismissive. Then once I was done eating and wanted the pho to go, the same worker seemed confused about me asking for help to put it in the container. Safe to say I won't be returning. read more

Wow. I have made a severe mistake in discovering this place. It's only a few minutes from me (humble brag) but I can tell their food travels well regardless. I ordered their chicken vermicelli bowl, fire cracker shrimp & my brother ordered their rice entree with lemongrass pork chop. To put it plainly, we ate in total silence IT WAS SO GOOD. No time for words. Haha The fire cracker shrimp was perfectly fried & the aioli was a perfect to dip for it. Not spicy at all though, I didn't mind I just don't know if maybe it was supposed to be spicy due to the name. I wouldn't change the dish or the sauce though, people who are sensitive to spice could also enjoy this dish & those who prefer it could just add some spicy on their own. The vermicelli bowl comes on top of mixed greens, has some chopped carrots & cucumbers & brings one spring roll. The portion was generous and the flavor combination was EVERYTHING. The sweetness of the chicken mixed with the freshness of the veggies all tied together with the texture of vermicelli noodles?! It was everything you could want in one dish. I only tried a bite of the lemongrass pork chop & it was delicious. Once again, my brother & I ate in silence but by the look of his completely empty plate I can tell his was delicious too haha I grabbed a Thai tea boba because I couldn't resist. It was the perfect end to my meal. Not too overly sweet which is always the gamble with Thai teas for me. This place was so good I already have my next order in mind. :) Highly recommend doing takeout, it's a small establishment with no option of outdoor seating really. The staff was very friendly, the food was quick & delicious. I urge you to leave a 20% tip even if you do takeout or delivery-- they deserve it! read more

The owner is very kind and sweet unfortunately the food is mediocre at best. Portions were tiny floating in a ocean of broth. Vegan pho was beyond bland, couldn't even doctor up the broth with condiments. Vegan bun chay was good. Smoothies were bleh for how much they cost. Waste of a $75 lunch read more

I am so happy this place opened up in Hollywood. We don't have one close by and it's very delicious. The boba was awesome, the tapioca boba was perfect. And the Pho was even better. We were pleasantly surprised to find this humble eatery off I95 & Hollywood Blvd. Not only was the food good and priced reasonably, it was authentic. For our pho, I ordered the American Wagyu Pho with Traditional Noodles. My husband order the same, but with the spicy broth and the flat noodles. I really enjoyed this pho!!! There is ample seating suited for parties up to 4 persons, however, I imagine that you can put together tables for larger groups. As their name alludes to, their specialty is in Banh Mi (a type/style of Vietnamese sandwich). I told her I got it myself and she just said okay. I still never got my 10th wing. She disappeared again and now our drinks were empty for a long time and we were out of napkins. Again, I went to the bar. I apologized for bothering them and explained that our waitress disappeared, and the bartender was super nice and helpful. Eventually she came out to check on us and was again surprised that our drinks had been refilled. I again told her that I got them myself. She said she had other tables, which I get, but they definitely weren't busy and the amount of time she was gone was still super excessive. Between basically waiting our table myself, the missing wing, and the dry wings, this was unfortunately my worst ever Flanigan's experience.

I had the pleasure of trying out Pho 46 for a takeout order, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise! The lemongrass chicken bowl I ordered was simply delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and fresh veggies that complemented the perfectly cooked chicken. Not to mention, the portion size for the price was exceptionally fair. The order arrived extremely quickly as well which surprised me since the order usually takes a while to come out compared to other restaurants I've tried in the past. We have gone twice now and have started to find our favorite items. The Summer rolls were delicious and Pho Dac Biet was hands down the best thing we have tried yet, the lemongrass tofu pho was also very good. We will be back again soon to try more items as they have interesting menu items we have yet to order. read more
