CYPRESS, TX / VIETNAMESE / 02-26-23 / LUNCH +The real fruit smoothies were pretty good. $0.50 extra for the Large size. +The broth was piping hot and decent flavor. -The short rib pho had plastic wrap on it; old meat that was microwaved!

Pretty good food. I would definitely come back. Solid four. Good service. Decent prices. Good: the chicken was good. I think the Vietnamese eggrolls were the best. The wonton soup was good. The fried rice is good too. I will definitely come back and try more off their menu. They have an extensive menu so I would definitely be back soon. Tons of options for food here. Priced well too. The service was good too. Our food came out quick and we were well taken care of. I'll definitely be back soon.

Honeydew green tea with rainbow Jelly... super sweet. Ask for less sugar. Overall GREAT FLAVOR!

I came here after a great and relaxing day at Gangnam Spa on my week off. I had to try a new boba place and saw this place was fairly new! I didn't know that this boba spot is also attached to a great pho restaurant. Luckily I was super hungry so I decided to also get a little snacky snack. Pretty nice place located next to the Stat furniture across the street from HEB! I decided to go light and ordered the honeydew melon green tea with rainbow jelly and an order of Spring rolls to go. SO GOOD! Although, I would ask to get lighter on the sugar... it was SO SWEET! The first few gulps were hard to swallow and could definitely spike those glucose levels.. phew! The spring rolls tasted fresh and the peanut sauce was decent. I'm going to come back and try the pho! I'm sure we will be a regular if the pho is solid. By the looks of it, I'm sure it will be!

Bun Bo hue. Not as spicy and had no pork blood.

I know I left a review not too long ago but have to bump it down a star. I've been here 4-5 times and the service has been consistently bad. Never got refills on my water even when I thought he was coming for it he didn't. This past visit they ran out of rice for the fried rice, if that was the case they could have told us beforehand. It took 40-45 minutes for our apps to come out. Spring roll, dumpling, and egg rolls. Then a little over a hour for our food to come out. One thing that was disappointed that I didn't catch the first time i ordered bun Bo hue was it didn't have the pork blood in it and I didn't taste the paste in it. If it did have the paste it lacked the flavor which is weird cause it's full of flavor. But the pork blood the unique thing about it isn't serve with their bun Bo hue. I don't know what else to but each visit is a disappointment

Best pho in town, the best chè I've ever had (I highly recommend taro lover) The rice plates are amazing, the pork plate oh! and don't let me forget the spring rolls are the best spring rolls I've ever had (especially when you dip it in the peanut sauce) The vibes are nice and calm. and the workers are always really nice. every time I come here I'm in heaven.

Like Eddie S. says in his review, the location doesn't do this place justice! Once you step inside you are really taken to a totally different environment. The pricing seems a little high but believe me, once you see the portions and the flavor of the dishes, you will understand that they are just. When we arrived the restaurant was starting to get packed and by the time our food arrived the restaurant was at almost 90% capacity between noon and 1pm. My friend got a banh mi which came with fries and I ordered the 'le emperor pho'. He said that his banh mi was delicious. While I didn't try his sandwich because it had pork, I did try his fries and those were pretty amazing! My pho was one of the best tasting pho that I have tasted in a while. The broth was so flavorful and did not have any funky taste. The noodles had a nice bite and the bean sprouts and all the other accoutrement they gave was plenty sufficient. The service was extremely friendly. Even though the restaurant was busy with customers dining in and constant to go orders, they were extremely attentive and brought our food came out in a very timely manner. Would definitely go back!

They are very accommodating for large groups and are able to split individual checks. My group ordered many different things and the conclusion across the board- delicious! I loved the crab spring rolls. Again, HUGE portions. The pho was well seasoned and yummy and I had tons of leftovers. The staff is super friendly! They will pack up all the leftovers for you. And one of the best parts of the meal, you get a little spoon of crème brûlée with your check at the end!

The table we chose was clean, but the seats and floor weren't. The host kindly cleaned it up for us. We sat for quite a while before asking a staff member for water. We also requested lemons, but they never came, so we let it go. We ordered large bowls of chicken pho, and that was definitely the highlight. The portions were generous and packed with flavor, with a great balance of chicken and noodles. Midway through the meal, we ordered lemonade. The host didn't seem too happy about it and went to the back for a while. It seemed like it might be made from powder since she grabbed ice from the front machine. Then we found out it was $5, which was surprising. Service-wise, it felt a bit off at times, but you could tell they were trying. We did share a few laughs with the male waiter, which helped the experience. At checkout, we got a percentage off for Mr. Pho's 7th anniversary at this particular location, which was a nice touch.

I simply Googled Pho restaurants because I find giant bowls of soup to be quite comforting. This was on a random Sunday afternoon. Well, I just happened to be here in Cypress, Texas about 25 miles away from Houston and kaboom! Pho Bo 2 was located right off Highway 290 in a giant shopping plaza. From the outside appearance Pho Bo 2 looked pretty modern. I had a good feeling that I would enjoy the food here. Upon entering, there were plenty of tables and chairs featured and best of all they were open for dine-in during this pandemic! It wasn't too crowded which I actually liked so this way I could get served quickly (though most Pho places have fast service regardless) because I was hungry! Pho Bo 2 had all your typical food, appetizers, rice, plates and of course Pho soups...lol, the only reason why I ever come for Vietnamese. They offered 40 different Noodle Soups along two pages of the menu. What stood out to me and which I've had success with in the past is Pho soup including egg noodles, pork, shrimp and my new favorite item...quail eggs. I went with Soup #37...the Hu Tieu Mi...which combined rice and egg noodles with quail eggs, shrimp and pork...and for $8.95...an absolute bargain! I also got hot tea which I believe they charged an extra $1. With tax and tip the meal cost $15. Within 5 minutes or so, the soup came out. It appeared really colorful looking with a nice brown broth to it. I also noticed large pieces of pork, shrimp, quail eggs and little green scallions which I'm a fan of. And of course buried underneath the soup were the rice and egg noodles. From my first impression, I was excited with what I received. This #37 was very good. The broth was tasty and the pork was generally lean and not too fatty. I was disappointed with the shrimp. I believe there were only 2 shrimps in the soup and they weren't deveined. Grrr...why wouldn't they take a little time to devein the shrimp? This made me feel like they weren't fully cleaned. Ah, okay so the shrimp let me down. Still, for the occasion and for desiring Pho...the soup was definitely satisfying. Although they only offer 1 size for all their soups, I was actually left yearning for a little more after I devoured the bowl. Maybe I could have found a quick appetizer to start with. Finally, for spontaneously coming across this place on my Google Maps while driving...Pho Bo 2 was a general success. If I happened to be living in Cypress, I would return here. I felt like they were reliable and good enough in terms of quality with their Pho soup. My overall experience was a positive one.

At first I thought it would come w/ rice since I ordered a shrimp dish that would come w/ it last time I came around their soft/grand opening shortly before covid hit, but I had to ask the waiter for extra rice since there weren't any when he brought the wings out. Supposedly they'll charge you for an extra bowl of rice and I don't think that was the case though. I also ordered a jasmine milk tea w/ matcha boba and it tasted less flowery which is good for my liking and I didn't even taste any matcha flavor to the matcha boba that was like crystal boba though. Something I noticed inside was that whenever other customers left after dining in, the waiter didn't clear and clean the tables right away and I understand if he was busy though. I'm thinking it was bc there weren't alot of customers when we came in and he was probably gonna wait until more people would come in later. But overall most of their food is great and hopefully I'll be here eventually to try some of their other foods. :)
